When: December 3rd-4th, anytime after this thread takes place.
Rating: Not sure. We'll say R for possible violence, and the usual innuendo, to be safe.
Characters: Anyone at Diva's Palace, Setsuna Mudou, and maybe Sakuya Kira later.
Summary: Saya brought home a stray angel to Diva's, and, of course, that's bound to be discovered.
Log:
As always, Setsuna hadn't necessarily been thinking when he came up with the idea of going home with Saya. He was likely as much surprised by the idea as she was. He hadn't expected anything to come of it, either. Again, not thinking. Rather than thought, things happened.
Eventually, it led to him sneaking back into the manor with Saya. He had been slightly nervous, not wanting a battle out of it, but at the same time, Setsuna grinned from time to time, amused. Karl had been right - danger enticed him, to a degree. Karl had been right about too many things.
The whole event ended at Saya's bed, where, like before, at Charlie's, they curled up together. He even manifested a set of wings and kept one over her. He knew he couldn't protect her from everything, but he could try. And he could at least give her company and some sort of solace, at times. That was all he wanted.

...Setsuna?
[ Karl stands at the door of Saya's room. Immobile, as if his feet are planted to the carpet. He was drawn her after sensing a presence -- something off -- in the manor. He'd expected to find the Cherub sneaking Saya out. Not -- not this. ]
no subject
[In a snap it reconciles, and her fingers curl in Setsuna's shirt. Protective. Her intended glare toward Karl is weak, timid. Please, just don't hurt him.] He's staying with me.
no subject
I can see that.
[ Never mind how absurdly this scene resembles a parent catching their teenager red-handed with a boyfriend. ]
no subject
Shouldn't be a problem, right? You get to keep Saya in here, and I get to make sure she's treated right.

no subject
I didn't say you could sleep with them either!
no subject
Calm down.

no subject
Just what are you doing here? Trying to sneak her out while we're busy?
no subject
Didn't you hear a word she said? I'm here with her.
Let me say it more clearly. I'm staying with her.
no subject
You have no right to be mad about it. Go away.
no subject
I believe an invitation is needed from the actual residents, before a guest leaps in to stay.
no subject
[And heading out the door to do just that.]
no subject
[Saya pulls the blankets to her chest, having worn just a thin slip to bed. She's not so modest, but it's the principle of the matter.]
What are you doing? It's not a problem if he's here.
no subject
[ He's felt it before. Many times. ]
[ Jealousy. ]
Isn't it? [ He pins Saya with a baleful glare. ] Considering he tried to break you out before, like the nosy pest he is?
no subject
You really misunderstand a lot. I wasn't here to break her out. I came to ask her if she wanted to leave. To show her she had options. She turned that down, so we left her here.
She's free to go whenever she likes. That's what Diva said! But you talk about this as if she's a prisoner. You gonna go against Diva's words?

[ With that, Setsuna is dismissed. The look he pins Saya is nothing short of pure murder. Would she shriek, he wonders, if he wrapped both hands around her throat and squeezed? Would she beg, or fight back? ] Setsuna, Setsuna, Setsuna. Perhaps I should get rid of the boy, if all he's doing is putting words in your mouth.
no subject
[Setsuna's words halt entirely at the mention of Sara.] Well, let's just say you were right about some things and leave Sara out of it.
[Otherwise, he's calm and rolls his eyes at Karl's words.] And how do you think you're gonna get rid of me, anyway?
no subject
You said they wouldn't get hurt if I stayed here. Are you going back on your word? If you are, I'm leaving with him right now.
no subject
[ He looks at Saya sidelong, as if she's being deliberately obtuse and begging to be slapped. ] I didn't say you could bring them back here either. This isn't a way station for everyone you want to bundle into bed with you.
no subject
[Setsuna's watching them, arms crossed, back against a wall. The rest of it is for Saya to tackle, but as if he would ever take his eyes off of them.]
no subject
It's my room and my bed, and I'll invite who I like. Or... [She rises from bed, barely covered in that thinnest chemise but striding toward Setsuna as if adorned and bejeweled in the utmost finery.] my bed won't be anyplace where you can interrupt.
no subject
[ Ignoring Setsuna -- insolent little bastard -- he returns his gaze to Saya. ] Or I could make it so there's nothing to interrupt. [ The threat vibrates in his voice, his glare, the very space he takes up. There's a growl, hitched, and outraged, but he's sick of the familiarity in this scene, of being the third wheel and intruder at every point in his life. ]
[ He takes a breath, suddenly acutely aware of the ringing in his ears, and then he is gone, out of the bedroom, slamming the door so loudly that the whole manor probably hears it. ]
no subject
[It's only when the door slams Setsuna feels a distinctive sadness about the whole event, one hand raised in the direction of the closed door.]
Karl.... [A sigh, then he turns to Saya.] So, you think that really means, "Fine, you win! I give up. Keep people in your room!"? Or should we talk to Diva to be safe?
no subject
[The ice in her eyes melts as she looks to Setsuna, a few steps completing her path to him. She reaches out, one delicate hand brushing over his shoulder, just because she wants to and she can no matter what doors that fool wants to slam.]
I don't want to go anywhere for a while. [Her fingers close around his shirt, lightly tugging. It was a hard won right to have him here and she intends to take full advantage.]
no subject
Alright. We don't need to. If we must, we can talk to Diva later.
[He doesn't ask, just tilts his head to the bed and starts walking back to it.]

no subject
Are you hungry? I don't know the last time you had blood. If you want some, it's okay to take it.
no subject
[She hums and nods her affirmation, lip peeling back to bare her fangs. Just grazing his neck at first, scoring teasing lines, then twin pricks which yield just a drop, each. The tip of her tongue flicks out to collect them, laving over his skin, soothing. One leg curls over his, pulling herself closer still as she bites in earnest, lips sealing on his neck. She purrs with contentment, body shifting against his in time with his pulse as each beat fills her mouth yet more.]
[She wonders idly if Karl can sense her feeding, her eager body pressing forward against Setsuna's warmth.]
no subject
[If nothing else, on a bed, it will be far more comfortable than the first time. Much as Saya does, Setsuna has long seen feeding as a way of bonding. Unlike Saya, though, Setsuna doesn't give Karl another thought.]
no subject
You're good to me. [Her lips finds his skin again, at the jawline.] Someday I'll find something to do for you.
no subject
Mmm? For me? You don't have to do a thing. I think you kinda did, anyway. You totally stood your ground against Karl. It was kinda awesome, watching that.
no subject
[A lazy shift of her hips, try to to get yet closer.] You're warm.
no subject
[He moves with the shift, not thinking much about it, other than there's a comfort and warmth to the closeness.] Good. I'm supposed to be.
So are you.
no subject
no subject
Blood, it's warm. If I was cold right now, that'd be bad. Unless the room was just freezing. But that would be bad, too.
no subject
And here I was thinking it's because of your warm heart.
[One of her hands skims over his shoulder to his chest, to feel his heartbeat.]
no subject
Yours is warm, too.
no subject
She was amused and her lips curved in a red, red smile as she watched the two stretched out on the bed. Should Setsuna's wings still be unfurled, she may even attempt to touch one before speaking. ]
Back so soon?
[ soon would have been never. She knew Saya. She only ever came with a sword fully drawn. Never this. Not before. ]
no subject
no subject
I thought you wanted me here. [Petulant irritation as she squirms closer to Setsuna. Go away, Diva.]
no subject
her glance slide to Saya's as she sat on the edge of the bed, leaning in. ]
Ah, but you'd much rather be out there, right, Saya dear? [ after all, why sneak out at all if she didn't want that, if she hadn't been afraid... She laughed silently then, her lips quirking up. How like Saya. Always, forever running away.
Perhaps, this time, things will change. ]
no subject
She still came back, so there's hope for you. [All the while he kept an arm around Saya, practically covering her.]
