Summary; The celebrations continue, and the Anonymous regime has summoned guests that Citizens might (not) prove very thrilled to see! As opposed to other Fourth Wall events, all visiting characters will have been invited to the City, or they must arrive here of their own will.

There's so much to do and so much to see in this City of cities. From tromping through Xanadu, long walks along the shore, shopping in the Square, hunting in the forest, meeting a contact in the Underground, or getting as many answers as possible at the Welcoming Center how can anyone decide on just one. In three days time so much can be done!

Shops and restaurants are having specials. Happy hour has become happy days in some bars. This is quite the occasion! When the City decides to celebrate, it becomes contagious. Why not smile and strike up a conversation with a stranger? After all, a stranger is a friend you haven't met yet.

[Uhura hasn't run this fast since...well, last time there was an emergency on the Enterprise. It still isn't fast enough. Spock's alive. Spock's here. She just saw him a few days ago, when she sent him down to that damned volcano, but at the same time she also holds the memories of the months she had spent in the City without him. Everything is confusing, everything hurts, and everything leads to needing to see him.

She arrives at Kirk and McCoy's apartment and all but pounds on the door.]

[logistical]

[Just as he is about to open it, and he does, completely unprepared for what he's seeing.]

Nyota?

[The shock of it is just enough to drop any formality - he's been wrung out from talking to Jim and Bones and honestly - he's just happy to see her, even if he's not happy that she might be trapped here.]

[And there he is. She takes just a moment to let the sight of him sink in before she reaches out to grab him in a bone-choking hug.]

I can't believe you're here.

[logistical]

[This is a bad sign; she rarely looks at him like that, but he relents, let her touch him, draws on her strength to steady himself.]

Which point in the timeline are you from?

[universaltranslator]

You were trapped in that volcano. I thought you were dead. [Later on she'll be furious at how calm and willing he had been to die, but right now she's just grateful he's alive.]

[logistical]

[He goes rigid. They have not had their fight, he hasn't explained why he was so calm.]

I am from further down the timeline [And because, if she looks at his hands, she will see the faint specks of blood, he has to explain himself before she makes unwanted inquiries.] The ship... has been damaged. I was in an altercation.

[She pulls back to look at him.]

What happened to the Enterprise?

[logistical]

[Almost lost.]

Damaged, but safe. The Captain acted to save us.

[That is enough detail, he thinks, if she doesn't know Jim died.]

[universaltranslator]

[She frowns at him and then, remembering that both McCoy and Kirk are also in the room, frowns at them as well.

What happens in their future?]

[logistical]

[He follows her gaze, and then, quietly-]

We should speak privately.

[universaltranslator]

We can go back to my place. [Assuming Kirk lets them go that far. But she and Spock do need to talk and she'd rather not make out with him in public. It's not seemly.]

[logistical]

[A curt nod, indicating his agreement.]

Where do you live, precisely? The Captain's description was... inadequate.

[universaltranslator]

It's a house. [insert directions here] It's not far from here.

[logistical]

[He gestures for her to lead the way there.]

[universaltranslator]

[She does, reaching out to take his hand. Public displays of affection -- not something they usually do, but damn it she thought he was dead and even though Kirk had told her otherwise, she prefers the proof of Spock's hand in hers.]

I'm glad you're all right. [The words are weak, but she doesn't want to overwhelm him with a display of emotion.]

[logistical]

[It is not something he usually indulges, but after the emotional wreck he was meeting a Jim who was alive, he allows it. Another concession, another lack of control, but it is Nyota. He can afford it, and a brief flicker of relief and gratitude meet her as she takes his hand.]

I am pleased to see you.

[It's not a Vulcan expression, but logic be damned.]

What happened to the Enterprise?

[logistical]

Damaged, but operational. [A short pause, one that can be mistaken for a beat in speech but is actually him choosing his words extremely carefully.] The Captain saved us.

[universaltranslator]

That's what you said. But how did it happen?

[logistical]

[He frowns slightly. Is that he that shaken? She shouldn't get suspicious or else he won't be able to avoid the questions.]

We were attacked by a vessel with superior firepower and [Jim begged for our lives] it was costly.

[universaltranslator]

[Human curiosity, Spock. You can't show up somewhere, say that the Captain saved us, and then not expect questions.]

How costly?

[logistical]

[Half the crew.]

It will take several months to repair the ship.

[Then, gently-]

Knowledge of the future is unwise. It has the potential to create further divergences in the timeline.

[universaltranslator]

[She shakes her head.] This place is cut off from time and space as we know it. What happens here doesn't affect the timeline.

[logistical]

You have proof?

[He wouldn't normally question her so blatantly, but this is Important.]

[universaltranslator]

I am proof. I was here before. I lived here for seven months, then I returned home with no memories of this place.
