When; Sept. 28th
Rating; PG to start, may go up depending on what happens
Characters; Hyuuga Neji and Hyuuga Hinata
Summary; Hinata, struck with the genderbending curse, tries to hide from the world and instead finds that Neji IS capable of kindness towards her.
Log; It was dark. That much, she was thankful for. Not to mention the part where it was quiet, secluded, and HIDDEN. All things that she was currently grateful that she had. Hyuuga Hinata let out a slightly discordant sigh, wrapping her arms tighter around her knees. The day couldn't possibly get any worse...Not only had she woken up as a BOY, of all things, but when she had decided to risk discovery and make sure that Neji was all right, the young man had noticed that she wouldn't open the door.
I should have guessed he would notice that, as smart as he is...I should have been more careful...
The thought that Neji might actually have been concerned didn't register in her mind. Why would it? Neji hated her, had hated her for years. That was one truth that nothing anyone said against it could dispell from her mind. Well, perhaps if Neji himself said differently. But it wasn't like THAT was likely to happen any time soon. She pushed back memories that tugged at her, reminding her of a time not-so-long ago when that hatred had ebbed. It did her no good to think on THAT now.
Can I stay in here all day without being found?
Hinata hoped she could. It was a little embarassing at first how childlike it was, but the cupboard under the sink had seemed both inviting and concealing. So she had, in a moment of panic over the thought that Neji might come through the door to see WHY she was speaking through the catflap, darted into the small confined space and shut the door tightly.
