Summary; Rosette meets Fiore and Joshua at their residence during a curse day, but the clock is soon to strike twelve.

"One more granny comment out of you and I'm going to let you have it," Rosette murmured, half-jokingly, as she turned her attention back to Fiore, then to the food and finally back to Joshua again. "No way! I have my cool points, too! There's no way Chrno's cooler than me," she added, smugly, then cocked her head off to the side.
"Carrots? You know, I know you don't like them much, but I bet they'd make you feel better if you ate them! You eat the healthy stuff and leave the junk to me!" Grinning, but only for a moment, she waggled her fork at him.
For one reason or another, Rosette didn't know whether the fact that Fiore seemed fond of Joshua worried her or put her at ease. Not having to worry about someone using her younger brother for a selfish purpose did, however, satisfy her enough to allow her to let down her guard a little.
Just a little.
