Log;
Sakon waited.
His eyes watched the fountain, glittering and glistening in the light, coating itself and everything around it in its diamond spray. Sakon, with a grin, thought it was quite ironic to fight here. Soon, another fountain would be born, glistening and shimmering under the silent moon, coating itself and everything around it in its spray.. but not diamond, but rather.. ruby. Crimson. Licking his lips, he vowed that, in no sense ever, would it be him that would become that fountain. But..he would be the one to strike the geyser, and see its birth.
Chouji's hand shook as he shut the door behind him. No matter how many times he went over it in his head, he didnt want, or see a need, for this to happen. Just a day before, they had all laughed, and had a good time together. Chouji had finally thought that his words hadn't fallen on deaf ears after all... but he was wrong. A curse day. Thats all it was... and now, the two brothers were back to being an enemy. I know they're not gonna hold back, he thought to himself, so.. that means I cant either. Nervously, he slide a hand into the kunai case at his side, and fidgeted with the three pills inside... He didnt want to use them... not after what happened last time. But if it looked like he'd die either way...
Sakon turned his head slightly. looking back behind him to the shadow now appeared, a smirk rising upon his face. "So...You actually did show. I'm impressed." With a laugh, he turned fully, smirk in full view. "...All right then, let us begin. With our lives at stake....well...yours, anyway. Mine was already taken by your village's stupidity." His smirk darkened, falling into a scowl. "I intend to right that wrong today."
Chouji grimaced as the pale man [men?] turned around. The smile on his face, the glint is his eye filled with murderous intent. "I'm a man of my word," Chouji deadpanned. Chouji spread his feet to a shoulders length apart, and raised his hands to his side. "Don't hold back."
Sakon drew his stance, smirk only widening upon his face. "Don't worry, fat boy, we won't." At this, his expression darkened significantly, as he readied himself for the battle's beginning. "...Make sure...that you will not either...and..." At this, he took off from the ground, jumping into the air above Chouji, "you are as well!" With these words, he sprayed the ground below himself with kunai.
"Heh." Chouji grinned a little, looking up at the Oto-nin as a hail of metal rained down. Quickly throwing his hands together, Chouji executed several seals in quick succession before moving one arm to his back. "Bubun Baika no Jutsu!" In it's place, a huge characture [sp?] of said arm flew forth, swatting the kunai from the air as the oto-nin descended.
Sakon lit upon the ground for only a second, before following into a series of back handsprings, to get away from the oversized appendage. A grin spread over his face, as his hands quickly decended into his pouches, deftly attaching something upon something...and soon, more kunai flew at the Konoha nin, something fluttering upon their ends like pennants. But, they weren't directly aimed at the other nin, but rather to the ground around in front of him. In a split second, it could be noted what was tied to the kunai--exploding tags. With a swift seal, all of them went off at once, sending a cloud of dust to hinder the other nin's vision, and a noise to occupy his aural sense. As the distraction ensued, Sakon took this opportunity to trip-step, moving along the edges of the fountain square to find ground behind his opponent, before charging him from behind.
"Your bones will make a beautiful melody...all they need is the right virtuoso to bring out their tone!"
As Sakon through the next wave of kunai, Chouji instinctively tried again to swat the knives out of the air... but struck nothing. The weapons were aimed for the ground before Chouji's feet, and they hit their target. Quickly catching a glance, he noticed the tags, and braced for the explosion. Dust and debris clouded his vision, his arms before held defensively in front of him. As the dust cleared, he saw nothing... until he heard Sakon's voice. Chouji whipped around, but wasnt quick enough as the Oto-nin charged him at full speed.
Sakon grinned, an inspired look painting his features, as he saw the Konoha shinobi turn around. Perfect, exactly what I wanted him to do! With this opening, Sakon slammed his hand into Chouji's chest, with a loud cry. "Do!" And in succession, his other hand came around, slamming another place. "Re!" Again, another two hits followed, "Mi", and "Fa". Sakon laughed at the boy, as he finally brought up a knee into his gut. " Your bones are not well pitched at all..so low toned...but, maybe if we break them, they will give a much more harmonious pitch, a higher tone.."
Chouji grimaced... and disappeared in a cloud of smoke, a large chunk of the ground from below falling the the ground. Heh, didn't think I was gonna enjoy this at all, Chouji smiled to himself, appearing behind Sakon, both hands locked and raised above his head, ready to bring them down on his opponent.
Sakon, so involved with his composing, did not have the time, nor the speed to counter the other man slipping from him, coming from behind. In the last second, he turned around, only to be met with fists upon his head, knocking him to the ground. Slamming into the dirt, he slid hands underneath himself, pushing himself away from the other boy, skidding back toward the fountain. He grinned, tasting a small bit of blood in his mouth, sustained from him biting his tongue on the impact with the ground. He smirked, regarding the boy for just a second, contemplating his next move. "This is turning out to be quite amusing...you are not disappointing, at least too much, boy..."
Chouji smiled an honest smile, still ready in a stable stance. "Thanks. You're not so bad yourself. I haven't had to work this hard since Jiroubou." Before he was even done with his sentence, Chouji sprang from one foot, dashing at the brothers.
Sakon grinned. "We do not aim to disappoint!" And at this, he charged the other boy, but as he got in close proximity, flipped into the air, hand touching almost incorporeally upon Chouji's shoulder, using it as a 'launching' point. Right he landed behind him, he began his attack, grinning as he slammed not one, but two fists into Chouji simultaneously--as Ukon lended his arm to his brother, connecting at the elbow--the Tarenken. The other arm followed, which was also connected in this manner. Four fists began to percussively and mercilessly beat into the Akimichi's back, Sakon feeling Ukon grin at the chance.
Chouji's eyes widened as Sakon flipped over him, the brother's arms pounding deep into his back, the force breaking the skin, cracking ribs as Chouji quickly stepped forward again, right out of his enemy's reach. Chouji turned around deftly, staring at his grinning opponent as he began to preform another set of hand seals... this series ending with the Konoha-nin tucking his head, arms and legs into his rotund form.
Sakon jumped back, blinking as he had never seen this before. He had heard something about a rolling meatball in his intel, but never truly witnessed it himself. This was one of the reasons he had wished that Jiroubou had lived. Jiroubou would have been able to share secrets about this boy to him, secrets that would have helped him now. But, something in his gut told him to move--to get the fuck out of the way of whatever was about to come. He moved back farther, pushing from the ground, and landing upon an awning a little ways away.
With a spray of dust and a mighty battle cry, Chouji shot off like a rocket across the ground. "NIIKUDAAAN, SEEENSHAAAA!" Speeding towards Sakon, Chouji turned quickly, sliding sideways into the building upon which his enemy was standing.
Sakon, feeling the building he was perched against suddenly vibrate, places beginning to collapse, jumped from the building's side, moving to the ground, sprinting to escape. He knew what he could do to stop it...but it would take a lot of effort, and Ukon's help as well. He tried to think of other ways around it, firstly trying to just get from its way.
Spinning in place, Chouji dislodged himself from the building, the built-up force shooting him towards his target like a cap from a shaken bottle.
"Shit!" Sakon darted to the side, rolling across the ground, before ducking behind the fountain. He continued to move, not wanting to stay anywhere near the huge boulder-like thing that was trying its damndest to squash him. More and more, it was beginning to look like he'd need to use that technique...
Suddenly spinning in reverse, Chouji put on the brakes, careful not to hit the fountain. Not that it would hurt him... no, not in the least. The only thing Chouji fears from it was the risk of being propelled high into the air, something akin to flying off of a ramp. And in the air, with no way to maeuver was the last place he needed to be against THIS opponent. Coming to a complete halt, Chouji began to pick up speed again, rolling back around the fountain.
Sakon sighed, scrambling to the left, and trying to evade the rolling mass of Konoha nin once more. Turning his head, he spotted an alley way..much too small for the larger nin to fit his girth through. Making a dive for it, he rolled, skidding into the alleyway, skinning his shin in the process.
As Chouji whipped around the fountain, he launched towards the fleeing Oto-nin. "C'mon, running won't get you anywh---- Hey. HEY. I'm... I'm stuck!" Chouji had managed to lodge himself partially into the alleyway that Sakon had hidden in.
"Ha! Looks like it worked quite well." With this, he launched into the air, bouncing off of the meatball, and back into the spray of the fountain. With a grin, he began to speak to himself. "Do you want to play, brother?" At this, a nod, and a quick movement of hand seals, Ukon gracefully leapt, splitting from his brother, landing in the water underneath the fountain's spray. Ukon grinned, but in the same breath, snapped at Sakon. "Let us finish this quickly. No need to play around." Sakon, with a small sigh, conceded, knowing this was always how Ukon was. But, in the same respect, Ukon could not stay a long while away from Sakon, so he guessed it was somewhat founded.
They split..., Chouji thought to himself as he worked to free himself from the alley way. Shrinking back down to 'normal' size, he turned to look at the two brothers, standing atop the fountain, looking like buzzards ready to swoop in on the carrion. Chouji grimaced, but he knew what he had to do... Reaching a hand into his pocket, he pulled out a small glass container, and popped a large green ball out. Spinach Pill, you're up, he thought to himself, as he crunched the pill between his back teeth, his chakra returning to his body.
Sakon looked to his brother, as they turned, looking to one another. A silent concurrence, and then, they sped in different directions, quick as lightning. All became still around Chouji for the moment, as the brothers found different angles, different perches from which to attack from. Watching him like hawks from above, they waited for their prey to move, for the moment to dive, to strike, to kill. Breathing regulated and still upon the wind, they held their ground.
Chouji couldn't have possibly seen where they had run off to... but the fact of the matter was, he knew they HAD run off. He couldn't find them like this. The game of speed, guerilla tactics wouldn't suit him at all. He needed to draw them out. Throwing a quck seal, Chouji called out, in a brazen attempt to anger the brothers. "Oooh, I see. Learn from you're dead friend huh? Running away sound like a good idea?"
A voice from above. "Trying to rile us up? Ha." Another from somewhere else. "Remember. We lived with Tayuya. That sort of tactic will not work on us." A kunai rained from somewhere above, hitting down near his feet. A voice followed it. "You will have to try better than that!"
Chouji leapt backwards a step as the kunai landed with a clang before him. Where's Shika when you need him. He'd tell me where that came from... Chouji thought frustratedly. Finishing his seals, Chouji resumed the Baika no Jutsu, and promptly disappeared.
The brothers moved, anticipating an attack. Noticing the boy, now much larger. moving, they continued to keep a close watch on him, continuing to circle in their dance of death. Someone would give, someone would break, and then someone would fall. It was the way of battle, the way of the world.
Chouji stopped, and the brothers stopped their vulturous circle. Slowly at first, though, he began to spin in place, kicking dust and tile into the air, water from the fountain spinning around him, not unlike the rings around a celestial body. The spinning continued, until abruptly, the motion stopped and a 360 degree arc of kunai came flying from the chubby Konoha-nin, aimed at the level the Oto's had been prowling.
A kunai clipped Ukon's leg, and he winced at the new flower of pain blossoming upon him. Looking to Sakon, they moved, one in front and one in back, beginning a quick assault on the boy, jumping from here to there, until finally, one of them flew at his head, poised and aimed, ready to sling their leg out at the last second for a kick to the jaw.
He couldn't dodge this one. He had seen it coming, sure, but in his altered state, he just wasn't able to react quickly enough. Sakon's knee caught Chouji square in the mouth, rattling a tooth loose as the boy fell back to the ground, his body mass returning to its original size. He hit the ground with a resounding 'thud', a slight scream almost escaping his lips. They're just too quick... maybe if there was only one of them, but... Thoughts raced through his head. He wanted an alternative to the two things he knew he needed to do. One, he knew would bring him even closer to giving in, giving up the ghost... and the other was a fate so horrific, it made his own stomach turn just contemplating it.
As the other nin slammed into the ground, Sakon was there to capitalize on it, flying down, and slamming him hard in the stomach. Proudly, he connected another hit to the prone boy, as he pressed his foot upon Chouji's chest, with a wicked smile upon his face. "This is certainly become one-sided, wouldn't you agree?" Sakon began to laugh, wrenching his foot in deeper. "What do you say, boy?"
Chouji could taste the blood filling his mouth as the pale ninja loomed over him, grinning a bit of lunacy down upon him. Slowly, Chouji reached down into his pocket, grapped the next pill, and dropped it into his mouth before Sakon had the chance to protest. "Dumb-ass Oto-nin... you guys never learn." With the crack of the pill, chakra re-invigorated the boy, who, with astonishing reflexes grabbed a hold of Sakon's ankle, and squeezed it with all his might.
Sakon howled in pain, as he felt his ankle begin to give, and finally snap, taking him from his footing. He fell, foot still caught between the Konoha nin's large hands, trying to wrench it free, eventually turning his head and growling lividly at Chouji, staring him down completely. "You never learn, as well." He spat back acerbically, as he closed his eyes, pushing something inside of himself, and feeling it respond, and begin to manifest. A black tattoo, like ink blots sprayed across his skin began to spread and surface, as he activated the curse seal, giving him a boost in chakra and strength, allowing him to finally get what he desired: yanking his foot free. Painfully, he launched from it, landing and kneeling upon a building high above, looking down to his brother, who has picked up on Sakon's actions and was following suit, his face also becoming stained with the horrid calligraphy.
Chouji's face contorted from a look of accomplishment into one of anger. He remembered what this was, and he remembered how hard he had to work to overcome it in Jiroubou... but two of them? His mind raced as he feet followed suit, the pain masked by adreneline, as Chouji shifted the chakra into his feet and ran up the building occupied by the older of the two brothers.
Ukon felt the vibrations, and heard the sound of the bulky Akimichi rushing up the ediface. He moved, turning his head to keep focus on where the other boy was originating from, as to not give any opportunity for surprise attack. Slipping his fingers through the top loops of a few more kunai, he prepared himself for the coming clash.
As Chouji neared the top of the building, his hands clasped together quickly, forming a few essential seals. "Bubun baika no jutsu," he mumbled to himself, thrusting an arm straight above him as his foot caught the ledge of the roof.
Ukon backflipped away from the huge hand, eying it, before slinging a kunai its way, to try and hinder it from reaching any farther. Keeping his distance, he continued to observe, to see what would occur next, already planning many next actions in his mind.
Chouji flinched a little as the kunai stung him, but it was nothing but an irritating mark. Shaking it off, he pulled the oversized arm down towards himself a tad, his hand gripping the ledge, before Chouji used the leverage to leap from his spot to only feet in front of Ukon.
Ukon moved back as far as he could go, gripping a kunai tightly in his hand, and pushing the curse a little farther, nearing the limits of level one. He did not expect he would have to go any farther in this battle, but he would conserve to be sure. Better safe than sorry...they had learned their lesson about underestimating in that battle long ago...or so it seemed long ago now..
The second Chouji's feet hit the roof, he took off running at the Oto-nin. "No time to mess around!" he shouted, preforming an intricate set of seals before cocking an arm back as he approached Ukon.
Ukon took that breath to move, rocketing towards the left side, and then off the west edge of the building, trying to make it airborne, sending his back first into the jump, keeping an eye upon the boy beneath him. On the edge of his sight, he saw Sakon moving in from the east, hopping along rooftops to make it around to aid his brother if need be.
Dammit, making me chase him down Chouji muttered to himself, letting his arms trail behind him, head down now, gaining speed as he leapt from the roof. Quickly grabbing a kunai from the pouch at his side, he let his arms fall back again, his breath heavy from both the strain of the yellow curry pill, and the cold night air.
Ukon finally let that kunai he had been so tightly kneading within his fingers go, slinging it toward the chubby nin, aiming for the top of his legs, to try and slow him down some. He did not know what it was, but something about the way the other nin was looking at him, something about the ambience of the time and space, something about something was making him very uneasy. All he knew is he had to get back from him, and quickly.
Chouji's steely gaze, fixed upon his target, didnt change when the flying knife plunged into his thigh. Nor did he stop running as the blood soaked his pants, or when he pulled the knife out for himself. Now, with two weapons of his own, his arms cocked back once again, his wound providing him with just enough adreneline to catch up to Ukon before Sakon had the chance. Swinging his arms forward, Chouji aimed the twin at his opponents shoulders.
Ukon blinked, as the arms came toward him, as if in slow motion. Still trying to move backwards, his ankle twisted at a strange angle, making him trip up slightly on his own footing. And it would be this second that made him a bit too slow to evade.
There wasn't much resistance as the two knives dug into the Oto-nin's shoulders, red blood blossoming on his white garb. Letting go, Chouji let loose a punch to the chest, strong enough to level the stunned Ukon, before jumping atop. Finishing the hand-seals he head begun earlier, Chouji's entire body began to sweel, to almost comical proportions. "Wanna see what I've learned since you've been gone?" Chouji asked, his voice deadly serious. "Tenrai Keibatsu no Jutsu!"
Ukon struggled, trying to get out from underneath the bigger boy's girth. It was unsettling, and enraging, to have such a strange instance befall him, and he knew it was not just to try and hinder him. There was another reason to it. Ukon closed his eyes, beginning to concentrate, trying to push forward into the curse's second level.
From behind, Sakon began to rain whatever weaponry he could to get the other nin off of his brother. Leaping nimbly across the buildingtops, he hoped he could get there in time to stop whatever was about to occur.
As Chouji continued to grow, he felt his captive's legs give way to the weight. Looking up to see the other brother approaching with godspeed, Chouji grabbed the subdued and rolled off of the roof, landing upright... and 2 stories tall.
Ukon grimaced, as a yowl of pain pushed through his lips, as his legs buckled, and finally broke right below the knees. "Goddamnit! Mmnn..." He continued to try and fight, though he was picked up, yanked through the air, and held in thrall by the Akimichi. Within himself, he prayed Sakon would reach him and be able to free him in time. He felt the curse burn within him, as he struggled a little to make the change, with enough time to spare.
Chouji knew the other Oto-nin was fast approaching, and, looking down, realized what else was happening: Ukon was transforming again. If he got the transformation done, I'd... Chouji thought to himself. "Can't hesitate now!" And with that Chouji opened his mouth wide, and crammed the struggling brother into his gaping maw.
Sakon stopped dead. His eyes widened, and his chest clinched into something he had never felt before. His blood ran cold, as he saw the Konoha Nin begin to devour his brother whole, shoving him into his mouth. But, he knew what ever he felt, it could be nowhere near what Ukon felt. His legs were paralyzed at the sight, no matter how hard he tried to move. He was helpless.
Ukon flailed and fluttered, trying to pull himself out, pushing, prodding and kicking against all he could. He slammed his hands back against from whence he came, in a desperate attempt to yank his mouth open. He felt the boy's throat pulling against him... and suddenly, he stopped struggling, as a thought hit him solidly.
Kisei Kikai no Jutsu...It will not be hard at all to use....If I'm already inside the opponent's body! He grinned at this, allowing Chouji's body to take hold, and commence the act of swallowing.
Keeping his eyes locked on his new, lone opponent, Chouji swallowed as hard as he could, forcing his throat open, and then immediately closed around his prey, tightening, crushing Ukon as he was pulled farther and farther down Chouji's esophagus.
"What? Don't know what to say? Afraid I'll do the same to you?" Chouji lowered his forehead a little, a grin crossing his face. "Don't worry... I'll just kick your ass." As soon as he finished his thought, Chouji fell back to his original size, and leapt up to the roof where Sakon remained, flabbergasted.
Sakon blinked, his body shaking, his mind struggling, gasping for rationality. He...he....ATE my brother!! This thought became a scratch on the record of his mind, skipping and repeating itself constantly into a maddening drone. At that moment, his body lit aflame, as the second level curse took hold, ripping his normal form away, and replacing it with another--ogrish and fearsome, a horn growing upon the left side of his face, and the armor beginning to cover his skin, which was quickly becoming a deep red. His hair grew longer, no longer a lavenderish silver, but white as bleached bone and much more ragged. He winced, as his teeth became longer and sharper, showing through his thin purple lips.
"What the fuck was that? You are going to kick MY ASS?! I have news for you...you goddamned fatass freak...For what you did to Ukon....I'm not going to let Konoha find a fucking shread of you."
Chouji stopped dead in his charge as Sakon began to change... this wasn't good. It was too early... he didn't want to have to use the red pill. Not this early, at least... maybe he could buy some time? Wait for Ukon's chakra to become his own. "Heh... you're nothing without your brother, you dumbass. Hell... you're nothing with him either." Chouji's footing shifted, from one ready to leap away at a moments notice, to a firm one, ready and willing to stand ground as long as needed.
Sakon began to rush Chouji, when his eyes caught something. The other nin's stomach began to bulge and move strangely, as if there was something alive within it, which in this instance, there was. Sakon's mouth twisted into something sickly sadistic, as he began to laugh heartily at what he was witnessing, ceasing his attack in its midpoint.
"Are you certain, Chouji...?" He sneered this sentence quite derisively, revelling in what was occuring. "..It looks to me.. like you are having indigestion...you can't hope to fight like that, can you?" Throwing his head back, he laughed, as his mind once again was in a sense of stability.
Kisei Kikai no Jutsu....THAT'S why you let yourself get swallowed!
Chouji breathed deep and tried not to show the pain that he was obviously enduring... it was easily the most terribly thing he'd ever felt. His own body, being ripped apart from the inside... "H-heh... sh-sh-shows .... how much... yo-you know..." Falling to one knee, Chouji grabbed the last pill from his pocket and placed it on his tongue. "Endgame, b-bastard." The pill cracked between Chouji's back teeth, and it began...
Sakon grinned, as he watched the boy eat the pill, and suddenly something pulled from his shoulder. Ukon's head appeared next to Chouji's, grinning madly, cast as well in the mask of the second seal.
"...Did you miss me, fat boy? It was rather unpleasant in that fucking cavern you call a goddamned stomach, though I've been through worse... Now I can see why you're such a fatass. But...hopefully I can help you with that...by destroying your fucking cells. You'll slim down quite nicely after I'm done with you."
The tone slowly began to return to Chouji's skin, as Ukon finished hissing in his ear. Chouji, gaining his strength, his will back, lifted himself to one knee, then another, before standing. "D-don't need your h-help, dumbass..." A lone, glowing blue butterfly drifted before Sakon, fluttering, before lighting on Chouji's shoulder, opposite of Ukon.
Ukon laughed, watching the boy move. Whatever he had done, it was feeling rather interesting to him at the present moment...and he wasn't going to move just yet. He continued with the parasitic jutsu, slowly destroying the young Akimichi's cells one by one.
"..This is an intriguing feeling, lardass. I rather like it...it's tingling, lighting every sense on fire, though smoldering at first. Almost like the curse..."
More and more of the butterflies flocked to Chouji, covering him from head to toe. As one disappeared, one would come to take its place. The fat burned from Chouji's being, the smell filling the nostrils of those involved, as Chouji shot his free arm up and over, grabbing Ukon by the hair. "Think you've overstayed your welcome, faggot."
Ukon winced at the newfound pain, watching as the boy tried to expulse him from his body by force. He grinned, as this had never been done before. The closest that had been attempted was when the dog-boy had stabbed himself in the gut to injure them both. Ukon concentrated, feeling the horn on his head grow, as he began to make the process faster. He hoped to eat away some of this strength the boy had somehow abruptly gained, and could feel Chouji's body waning, weakening from whatever the boy had done deep within....
Chouji's knees buckled again, but he kept his footing. "I.. I th-thought I told you to g-get the f-f-fuck out..." One hand still wrapped firmly in Ukon's hair, the arm under the Oto-nin's head reached down, grabbed something, and bent straight back up at the elbow... lodging a kunai deep into Ukon's exposed throat. "That enough... enc... encouragement for you, dumbass?"
Ukon felt the curse seal fade, seeping out and away with his blood, and faintly noticed himself falling out of the boy's body, though to him, everything was falling at this point. Death was rushing towards him once more....and he knew it...but, he wondered....where would he go, when this city already swallowed him after death the first time? Would he end up here again? Or would he finally, truly die?
Sakon ran at his brother, catching his descending form, and bringing him back into himself, knowing that it would allow his brother to heal. He may not be able to fight any longer in this battle, but he would survive, and that was the more important part. Sakon, who still retained his curse, even though his brother did not, growled at Chouji, eyeing him.
"....Bring it, lardass. Are you still going to be able to fight?"
Chouji spit out a mouthful of blood, and rose to his feet again. "I've been waiting this whole time.." And with that, a burst of light, and cloud of dust, a pair of magnificent glowing wings opened from Chouji's back as he stood straight up.
Sakon, observing Chouji's movements closely, began to draw back, dropping away from him, and up once more onto the rooftops. He began to move sporadically, getting away from his opponent, and buying time for his brother to heal. But, he also could tell the other nin did not have much time himself, and it was only a matter of time until he dropped. He needed to wait until this began to occur, and then give him the final blow.
"Dammit," Chouji mumbled as he leapt after his rather skittish opponent. He shouldnt be wasting time like this... he shouldn't have to. Utilizing a burst of his new found chakra, he increased his chase-speed exponentially.
Sakon fell down, noticing the boy coming full tilt at him, expending his energy to make haste. Ducking from sight, he knelt waiting for the boy to come.
Chouji knew something felt wrong. He had placed his foot on the overhang, ready to spring off of it to the next roof, Sakon still far enough away. But... that was before Ukon's attack really began to take effect. Before the kunai wound from Sakon on Chouji's upper leg really began to hurt, the muscles tearing like cheap fabric. It was then... then when Chouji began to fall. Heh.. wings, and I cant fly, Chouji thought to himself as inordinate amounts of blood [needless to say, a result of Ukon's attack] burst forth from Chouji's mouth, moments before the Konoha-nin hit the pavement below with a thud.
Sakon took this moment to appear from the shadows, walking upon his fallen opponent, each footfall sounding like the toll of a bell. He laughed, taking his final kunai in hand, as he got close, slamming his foot down upon the broken butterfly's winged back, driving his heel into his spine.
"This will end now..you were right."
Chouji put his hands to the ground, and tried to push up from underneath the Oto-nin's heavy heel, but couldn't muster the energy. Not after the Parasite. Not even after the red pill, which usually provided an abundance of energy. The dead cells in him... they were too much. The fall was just the finishing touch. All ribs presumably broken, Chouji opened his mouth to fight back, but all that came out was more blood, and a pained gargle.
Sakon ground his foot in even more, with a laugh. Kneeling down, he grabbed the butterfly boy by his hair, painfully yanking him toward himself. With a voice deadly quiet, his words seethed across, reaching Chouji's ear, as he was bent backward in an awkward angle, foot still grinding into his back. "You have put up a good fight...but this is it...it ends here. This is the finale." The metal of a kunai gleamed wickedly in his vision, appearing quickly, licking at the Akimichi's neck. A whisper, like the breath of the wind, sung across, with another line of words, almost inaudible. "This...is for my brother." With this spoken, the kunai turned, point toward Chouji, and came forward, plunging deep into his neck, scratching across his collarbone, a perverse mockery of what the Konoha shinobi had done to Ukon.
Tears welled up in Chouji's eyes as the metal burned in him, the cold hard metal a terrifying contrast in his warm flesh. Shika... Ino... please... please, hurry
Sakon pulled back, leaving the kunai plunged. "...Checkmate." He removed his foot, grinning, disappearing in the shadows. "Feel what we felt. Die....alone." And with this, the Otonin disappeared, leaving Chouji to his thoughts and his mortality.
Chouji let out another sob, choking on his own blood as he laid his head down completely. The wings began to fade, the butterflies drifting away, leaving Chouji warm comfort only in his own blood. I knew I shouldn't have gone by myself... Trash is all I am he thought to himself as his vision faded out, slowly, the black night sky mixing with his heavy eyelids. Shika... Ino... I love you guys.

Log;
