Luke had been sitting at the edge of the fountain at the center of Misery Square, and for quite some time by now. He sighed and shifted his position again. He'd been trying to send Flash Mails all morning to Mirelle, but hadn't gotten any sort of response from her. Really, where on earth was she that it was taking several HOURS for her to arrive?! They agreed to meet here, right?

He looked around again for good measure from his post at the fountain, making sure this was indeed the spot they agreed on. Luke rubbed irritably at his temples, wondering now why he was still sitting here waiting. She'd obviously forgotten.

... Well, a lot of things did, actually. And Luke let them keep him waiting. And waiting... and waiting...

He pondered on sending yet another Flash Mail.

"Lu~uuukke!!" The pink-haired wavemaster had come bounding towards the square and was within seconds peeking out from around the edge of the fountain, waving excitedly and swinging bags of purchases at her side. "Haha, there you are~!"

"There you are!" Finally, all the waiting was done and over with. It didn't take Luke long to notice the bags that the fellow Wavemaster held, though. "And... What the heck did you bring with you?"

"Nyahaha..well~~!" Mistral grinned and started rummaging through the bags,showing off creating a pile of the various items ontop of the other wavemaster in her excitement. "I was on my way over here and...I found a store with all these neat items and gear!" She held out a bottle with 'SPF 30' on it in bold letters. "I have absolutely no clue what that means but the guy at the store said this helps boost your resistance to fire magic! I got a really good deal on it,too~!"

Luke hardly made an attempt to stop her rambling on of the items as she piled them on to him. He balanced the items the best he could while also trying to pay attention to what Mireille had been rambling on about. "So that's what took you so long?" he asked absentmindedly. "I guess it was stupid of me to think what was taking you so long, huh?" Luke made an awkward smile at her, now taking the opportunity to take better look at the items she gave him. "New server along with new items? I'm beginning to wonder just how big this event is supposed to be."

Mireille scratched the back of her head and laughed sheepishly. "Well yeaah... I mean, I couldn't pass up such a good deal!" After careful analysis of the stack, she began to put a few of them away. "Hmm. Apparently pretty gosh darn big. They're really pulling out all the stops.. what could they be celebrating? It's not the anniversery...hm...." A few more items left Luke's arms. "Hey, I bet there are going to be new monsters,too~~!"
