Log: Ongoing
When; Oct. 25th ( evening)
Rating; PG at best
Characters; Morpheus
1st_dream_king, Delerium
timebreaks
Summary; Cats of a feather....?
Log;
The Hall of the Lost held a sedate, and subdued atmosphere on most days.
This suited the former King of Dreams' similar demeanor, but now that his youngest sister was also sharing the space, the portraits of those few souls who found escape from The Ticking Clock would occasionally be decorated with the odd wildly colored floating fish, or a multitude of singing butterflys.
Morpheus had been very indulgent of Delerium's eccentricities, and even been somehwat touched by her adamant claim that she had missed him since his 'death'.
And so when she seemed a bit unhappy ( if one may tell any mood inher mercurial shifting nature) he decided to do something unexpected to match her, and hopefully, cheer her somewhat.
Thus; a sleek fine-boned cat now padded through the hall. The lights from the portrait's lamps catching deep midnight blue highlights in the otherwise unrelieved black sheen of it's coat.
It paused and looked about with obsidian eyes that reflected the sparse light into starfields floating in the void.

Somehow, rolling around in the hall while playing with her tail makes her a little hungry. Usually when she is hungry, she wants to eat sugarcones or telephone pole ice cream. Now she wants goldfish.
She does not remember how she got a tail, or why she wants goldfish to eat.
Falling to her side, she watches the sleek black cat that walks down the hall through her blue and green eyes. Flicking her green and neon pink tail once, she jumps up and starts trotting alongside her brother, falling behind now and then.
Poising for a jump, Delirium flicks her tail around several times before jumping up and trying to catch her brother's tail.

After a moment, the former Dream King sits, and regards her from over his shoulder, one ear cocked to the side.
This time, when she drops into a stalking crouch, he is ready and stares for a moment; starfield eyes shimmering with amusement.
Her multi-colored tail gives her away, and when she pounces, he roles with her niping at her foreleg in mock-annoyance.

She plays with her new ball animatedly for awhile before kicking it over to her brother. She jumps back to a crouch in preparation for the ball to be returned, her tail (now blue and yellow) flicking playfully from side to side.

He watched her play impassively, and considered shifting back for his only goal had been cheering her somewhat, but soon the little blinking ball was tossed toward him.
Giving her a look of pure cat's amusement, he batted at the lights, then gave it a solid swat to push it back towards her, following soon after with dark blue-black tail held high.

She stops midway however, and promptly falls to her side staring at her brother instead. She has forgotten what she was running towards. Eyes fixed on her brother's obsidian ones, her tail is finally tamed and is lying calmly behind her.

Then, lazily pads over to her, flops down alongside her, and begins to groom her face where the colors are starting to drip off.
Seeing no reason to speak aloud ( no need to upset other visitors to the gallery) he speaks in the ways of cats; with body language and eyes.
Shall we visit the angel Alexiel, little one?

Del thinks going Kitty is fun, but it won't be as fun if she has gone Kitty but still speaks Human. She is glad her brother did not speak Human to her. Rolling over to get back to her feet, she jumps around with tails flicking wildly side to side in excitement. She runs towards the exit of the hall and stops midway to get her brother to follow.
