Log;

She thought long and hard over it and finally decided that this was what she was going to do. Pulling her best, 'won't take no for an answer' face she knocked - somewhat timidly - on Hitsugaya's door, trying to come up with a reason that didn't sound as stupid as 'I think you spend too much time alone,' no matter how true it was.

As Hinamori waited, it suddenly occurred to her that along with not having a decent reason, she hadn't even prepared on how she was going to ask him. After all, it's not like you could just tell someone that was preoccupied with finding a way to bring his vice captain back to life that you wanted to go out for ice-cream. It seemed rather stupid, in the end, and she frowned slightly, already starting to back out of asking. Tobiume was laughing at her, but honestly, how did you say something like that without looking like an idiot?

She was starting to pout as she listened to her zanpakuto's teasing, still unsure if she should just forget it or not. If she was lucky, he hadn't even heard her knock. So if he hadn't, she'd just forget it. Right. That was her mind up made for sure on the matter, even as Tobiume sighed at her, chastising her inability to stay true to one train of thought.

Unluckily for her, Hitsugaya was wide-awake and aware when Hinamori's soft knock came on his door. He had grown attuned to listening for the subtle sounds his roommate made, just in case she decided to do something heroic on her own again. He really didn’t mean to come off as a jailor.

"Hinamori," he greeted her once he had opened his door. He never kept it locked, seeing as they shared the same suite now, the girl could have easily entered whenever she wished... which was what usually happened. The timid knocking seemed a little formal. "What’s wrong?" He raised his brow inquisitively, one part of the brain already reacting to forming emergency plans should Hinamori tell him bad news, it looked more like she was nervous.
