Log; Complete
When; November 8th, evening
Rating; PG-13 for cursing
Characters; Tayuya {
violentflutist}, Motoko {
kendogrl}, and Cobray {
gunofdis}
Summary; In order to inform Tayuya of Greed's goings on as asked, she invites Tayuya over to drink with her and another roomate.
Log;
Tayuya mumbled curses under her breath, rubbing her hands together as she did so. She didn't know what the fuck she was doing there, she hardly knew Greed's roomates at the Hot Springs, but hey, she'd been invited, and she had nothing better to do. Still flinging out curses at intervals, she raised a hand to bang loudly on the door, wondering what the fuck these people were actually like. And how they could stand living with Greed.

"I didn't walk in on some shit, did I?" She said, eyeing the state of undress. She entered, kicking off her shoes (you did do that, she thought), and looking around, half-expecting to see Greed. When there were half-naked women, he was usually somewhere around.

Walking out, she pulled her uniform off over her head as she went, throwing it in a corner of the spring, she shimmied out of her black bodysuit, adjusting her bathing suit and sitting down at the edge of the spring, slowly slipping in.
"Where's this friend of yours?" She asked.

Cobray's face twisted a little as he tried to imitate Tayuya's frown, thinking it was the proper way to greet her. Once he had the mild frown perfected, Cobray nodded and sat back down.
no subject
"Yeah... right..." She slipped in all the way into the spring, now quite confused. "I'm Tayuya."
She examined this man. He looked like a real weirdo, but who was she to judge?
"So... you new to this shit hole?" She asked, reaching up to tie back her hair.

"I've been here over one week, earth time. But in that small amount of time, I've met more people that amaze me than I've met in my life," Cobray stated.
Cobray grunted softly and grabbed his head. His hair and eye color turned a light blue and then faded back to a dark silver. Cobray sighed in relief and looked up, waiting for Motoko.

"Control?" She smirked. "I wouldn't say that." She downed a mouthful, the taste burning down her throat.
"Reigning him in? Maybe." She gave a laugh. "Though the methods I had to use to do it were unconventional, to say the least. But as for Greed, I don't know how in the world you can live under the same roof as him, for fuck's sake."
no subject
"Besides, he needed a place to stay, and there's plenty of space here." Now with Greed almost completely invading her thoughts, Motoko downed her glass of sake. She then poured a glass of the cheap sake for herself, leaving the good quality out where Tayuya and Cobray could get to it easily. She started to drink, this one burning noticibly more than the other. How Kitsune could drink so much of it in a day was beyond reasoning.
no subject
"Heh. I can give you a solution to your Greed problem," Cobray slurred, still sober enough to keep from letting his other personality take hold.
no subject
"So." She rolled the glass in her fingertips, leaning against the rim of the spring. "What exactly went do-"
"... Are you going to be okay, man?" She asked, glancing over at Cobray, who seemed very... susceptable to alcohol.
no subject
"I'll be okay, I assure you. I've never had alchohol before and I'm not human. But I have partaken in an energy drink that, while not tasting as good as this sake, was just as potent. This is a very good experience for me, as long as Ingram stays away," Cobray said matter of factly, keeping forcing himself to stop slurring.
no subject
"I'm curious though...what exactly is your relationship with him?" It almost surprized her to hear the question come out of her mouth.
no subject
Looking to Motoko, she pursed her lips. "My relationship with him?" She took another small sip. "Well, whatever that Weapons Bitch Tenten may say, I am hardly in love with the bastard." She rolled her eyes at the thought of the Konoha ninja. "But he is entertaining, at the least, and our bet is the most amusing thing I've seen in a long time."

"What sort of prank are we talking here?" She had to admit, she was mildly interested, not only in his motives, but in what he proposed.

"By using the power of Dis Lev, I can create a selective time spatial warp around the temple. With this in place, it will allow only people I want into the temple area. What I will allow it to do is let anyone into temple grounds. Anyone but someone who accompanies Greed. Whenever a person who is accompanying Greed tries to enter the temple or the surrounding area, they will be immediately teleported to a random spot in the city. If you choose to do this, I will allow you to choose the spot that the accompanying person teleports too. Greed, of course, will have no clue as to what happened. What do you say?"
no subject
"... You can really do that?" She asked, finishing off her glass, twirling the ice around. "Cause that would be damn funny."
no subject
"I can do all that in the time period of one minute and thirty seconds. You just need to choose an exit point for the unwanted guests."
With that, Cobray took another chug of sake. He coughed again, and then pointed at Motoko.
"I have a friend by the name of Zengar Zonvolt. Greatest swordsman in the universe. If I ever get to leave this city, I would like to be able to beat him at his own fight. Do you think you can help me? I've noticed you *hic* also use a sword."
no subject
"... Can we place the exit point in building four? Right outside apartment 5?"
Glancing over to Motoko as well, she raised a brow. "Sword?
no subject
"Ah, perhaps you don't remember, the day I showed up here we were both cursed and destroying the city. Though it pleases me that you forgot, that is a side of me that I wish to be forgotten.
no subject
"You see Motoko, I am dedicated. Very dedicated. But when you can bend time and space, years can easily become weeks. Can I at least learn the basics?"
no subject
Refilling her glass, she contemplated it, sinking deeper into the spring up to her shoulders.
"We should fight sometime. Maybe you too." She nodded to Cobray.

"I'm afraid that we can't fight on equal levels. In person, such as now, I am completely powerless. It would be an overwhelming victory for you. My true ability lies in piloting Dis Astranagun. That is what makes me powerful. While I am piloting my mech, I am undefeatable. And speaking of it, I think I will set up that barrier now."
Cobray stood up and took a deep breath. He yelled as loud as he could, "Astranagun!!"
A white light flashed as Dis Astranagun floated over and teleported Cobray into it. "Ingram, if you want to come out, now is the time!"

"Target: Temple grounds. Exit: Sector 25, 37, 82. Astranagun, do it!"
A large demonic symbol formed around the temple and quickly vanished. The air wavered slightly but was only noticable to people who were staring directly at it. In another flash of light, Cobray was back in the hot springs and Dis Astranagun had flown off, landing behind the temple.

As Cobray teleported back, she spluttered, pointing up at the sky, to Cobray, and back to the sky.
"Holy shit!" She reiterated.

Cobray swung it a couple times and managed to cut down a lamp pole. After it fell down, he re-sheathed it and said, "Heh. There is nothing my Zankantou cannot slice!"

She figured she’d need another drink.

"A fight? Maybe...I've sparred before but it was mostly with other swordsmen. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt though." The heat and alcohol combined started to make her feel a bit dizzy, but she brushed it off and tried to relax. At least she wasn't thinking about Greed at all any more.

She used her other hand to pin up a stray strand of hair that was hanging damply in her face, still watching the man Cobray warily.

"... How many drinks have I had?" She asked, eyes narrowing. She didn't like being impaired by drink, and had no intention to be. But she had been... distracted.

"Quitting sounds damn good to me." Looking back upwards, she noticed the time.
"Oh shit!" Scrambling out of the hot springs, she grabbed up her clothing, not even bothering to dry off before throwing them on over her head.
"I told Orochimaru-sama I would be back before now!" There was an urgency to her voice, and with dire consequences involved, urgent she was.
And with that, she was off as quickly as she had come.
