Log: ongoing
When; November 16th
Rating; PG-13-Rish?
Characters;
cat_luvr Nekozawa and
snow_sohma Yuki
Summary; Yuki decides to take Nekozawa on a makeshift field trip to Xanadu. Things somehow decide not to go as planned when a trial love potion gets involved.
Log;
Yuki tugged the scarf around his neck once more before stuffing his hands back into the warm confines of his coat's pockets. It had been awhile since he'd ventured outside, and in that time he hadn't had to adjust to the changing weather- but while the first cool breeze had startled him, now it was little more than a minor annoyance. Besides, he had other things to focus on.
Shaking loose strand of hair from his face, violet eyes scanned his surroundings. Apartment ten, thats where Nekozawa-san said he would be waiting-
and low and behold, there he was.
The other stood out from his surroundings in a way that made everything else around him pale in comparison. He didn't bother to suppress the soft smile that tugged at the edge of his lips. Not one to yell his greetings, Yuki walked up to his companion, stopping just shy of invading personal space, and nodded his hello. "Nekozawa-san, are you ready to go?"

Not one to yell his greetings, Yuki walked up to his companion, stopping just shy of invading personal space, and nodded his hello. "Nekozawa-san, are you ready to go?"

"Nekozawa-san, are you ready to go?"
He simply nodded, not one to talk much. He wished he had his cat puppet, Beelzeneff, with him. His hand felt so cold without it.

He lead the way with little more than the occasional upwards glance. Xanadu was his favorite place, of all the things the City had to offer. Flowers he could understand in a way people had always baffled him. Flowers didn't speak or tease or confuse. They didn't care about your past or your shortcomings, all they asked for was care, and patience.
Still- perhaps not all people were so bad.
The garden wouldn't be too far now.
He cast a sidelong glance at Nekozawa, taking him in with unbiased eyes. The boy certainly was different than most of the people he'd met, but he didn't seem mean, or uninviting.
When he spoke, his voice was soft and concerned. "Is there... something on your mind Nekozawa-san?"

"Is there... something on your mind Nekozawa-san?"
Nekozawa looked to Yuki and kind of just stared at him for a moment. After a moment he reached into his pocket and held a vial of interesting colored liquid out to him. "Your po - I mean, remedy," he said.

Brows furrowed slightly, but he reached out just the same, delicate fingers wrapping around the vial as he met Nekozawa's eyes. "Are you certain? I mean, there must be some way I can repay you."
It didn't feel right, to take something like this when he had nothing to offer in return, so he hoped that there was something he could manage to show his gratitude.

"Are you certain? I mean, there must be some way I can repay you."
"You are repaying me," Nekozawa said as he nervously looked away. "I asked if you could take me to this place Xanadu, and now you are. There is nothing else you need to do."

Nekozawa seemed strangely aloof most of the time, as if he were unused to people in general, but Yuki couldn't fathom why. From what he'd seen, his voice was so soft and his manner so polite- how could anyone not like him?
Having taken notice of the vial in his hand once more, he focused on the task at hand, downing the contents in one swallow. He wasn't entirely certain what, if anything would really occur as a result, but Yuki wasn't concerned. True, he hadn't know the other for very long, but he trusted him.
Empty vial in hand, he gave the boy a smile of gratitude before turning to motion ahead of them, to the beautiful overgrown gates at Xanadu's entrance. They're arrived so quickly...
"This is it, this is Xanadu." His voice held the trace of a smile as well as a hint of comfort.

And speaking of perfect.
After looking into Yuki's violet eyes he looked up at the most beautiful garden he'd ever seen. He stopped in his tracks and lifted his hood up a bit so he can see it better, some of his blond hair showing. "Amazing," he mumbles to himself. From what everyone else knew about him, they probably would have thought he'd run away from this bright garden.

The word poison came to mind as quickly as it was dismissed. After all, though dying wasn't nearly so frightening, he doubted the man would do something so underhanded. Which meant that this had to be something else because it made his insides feel strangely warm and butterflies were stirring fast in his stomach and this was very very not right-
Which puzzled him because Nekozawa had seemed like such a kind person so why would he have...?
"Amazing." He heard the other say, and mumbled as it was, the word did not escape his attention. Instead it made his knees feel weak and he bit his bottom lip nervously before stepping beside him. Soft, slender hands reached forward and wound themselves in Nekozawa's, tangling their fingers as he smiled up at him, voice gentle and warm. "Yes," he replied, "you are."
It was the sort of boldness he could never hope to normally posess, but now it made no difference. The sheen of blond hair caught his attention next and though he kept one hand laced together with Nekozawa's, he let go with the other to lean forward and tenderly brush the loose strands back from his face.

"Yes, you are."
Nekozawa held his hand tightly and gave a small smirk. Might as well enjoy it, right? He put his hood all the way down, glad that they were in the shadow away from the sun. "Your eyes alone are more beautiful than any flower here," the "Prince of Darkness" says with a smirk still on his face. He wanted to see what Yuki's reaction would be.

No no no, it couldn't be possible-
But that tell-tale blush spread across his cheeks just the same.
Yuki smiled genuinely before shaking his head. "Maybe, but they aren't nearly as beautiful as yours." And beautiful was right, because the moment Nekozawa had lowered his hood completely, Yuki was dazzled. He leaned forward, nuzzling the other's cheek affectionately as he spoke; "I know you dislike light, so that means we should try to stay in the shade more. After all, I'd hate for you to have to hide that pretty face away from me."
That said, he closed the rest of the distance between them, one hand still tightly clasped in Nekozawa's and one gently cupping his cheek as he pressed a warm kiss to the other's lips.

After all, why try to focus on small, insignificant details like that when such alluring lips were mere inches from his own?
He leaned forward, body pressed firmly against Nekozawa's as lithe arms reached up to wrap around his neck and pull him into a fierce kiss. The need for oxygen forced him away moments later, faced flushed and lips slightly bruised, but he nudged the other's cheek playfully. "Come home with me. We'll get out of the sun hm?"

When he finally broke away, he was dizzy from the lack of air, panting softly as his hands found their way to the other's cloak, fisting themselves in the material and pulling at it; not satisfied until it gave way. Nekozawa was simply wearing too much clothing and it got in his way but most importantly, kept that soft soft skin too far out of reach.
He glanced up at Nekozawa, the hint of a smirk dancing on his lips before he leaned in, pressing heated kisses to the other's neck as his hands wound down to rest on slender hips, tugging him closer.

Everything felt strangely hazy, as though he were trying to find his way through a fog- if he was even trying to find his way to begin with.
It really was too much work. After all, everyone else could stop thinking for awhile, why couldn't he? And that offer was even more tempting when blond hair fell back into view. He smiled softly, letting out a contented sigh as he nudged Nekozawa's cheek with his own, tongue darting out to lick at the other's bottom lip, savoring the taste of it.
