Log;
Tayuya went over her appearance once more in her mirror, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, turning her face from side to side to check and make sure everything looked perfect. This was a mission. One Orochimaru-sama had approved of. And it gave her a chance to regain favor in his eyes that she knew had been slipping in this City. Not that he would ever be fully pleased with her again. She was dead after all. Not that Kabuto knew that.

A smirk grew on her face at the thought. Ah, but this would certainly be satisfying. She’d never expected she would ever be using sexual charm to her favor, but here she was doing just that. And getting revenge using it was just as good as other methods. Because if it was one group of people Tayuya hated, it was Konoha and its allies. And among that group of people, she hated a few in particular. Temari of the Sand, for killing her. Shikamaru of Leaf, for almost killing her. Tenten of Leaf, just because she hated the bitch. And Shizune the medic, because she had fucked with Sound. And if Kabuto of all people had betrayed Sound, well… it was a scary thought. And the very idea that some medic bitch from Konoha could just waltz in and make her medic unavailable made Tayuya very mad.

With one last smirk at her image in the mirror, Tayuya left her room, heading across the hall to the apartment two doors down. Reminding herself not to curse too much, (Kabuto didn’t like it), she knocked lightly on the medic’s door, smoothing her clothing before he answered.

Kabuto hadn’t been expecting any visitors, in fact, he had just settled down to look over the reports and information that Orochimaru had told him to memorize, all of it spread before him on the coffee table. He was to read over it and destroy it as soon as possible, in the mean time keeping it hidden and safe from any and all eyes. He’d rather just get it out of the way now, so there was no possibility of any of the information being compromised.

With all of his defenses set up, he was fairly relaxed in his apartment now, wearing a simple t-shirt and draw string pants with his hair loose about his shoulders. Everything that had belonged to either of the Konoha women had been removed immediately, all the locks changed, traps set into place, and a surveillance system set up. This was not a place he was familiar with, and his home had already been invaded once.

His head came up at the knock on his door. No one should be here at this hour, and Orochimaru said he would not be needed for the rest of the evening. Cautiously he made his way to the door, ready to activate a jutsu on the spot if it became necessary, but a glance through the peep hole told him it was Tayuya. Maybe something had come up, and he was needed?

He unlocked the door, the three dead bolts, and removed the chain. “Tayuya san, I was not expecting you this evening. Is there something my presence is required for?”

Tayuya smiled, doing her best to make it appear warm and inviting. Friendly. Though Kabuto himself was nowhere near the top of her favorite people list. … There weren’t many people on that list. But this was something she would do.

“Kabuto.” She finally said as a greeting, one hand on her hip. “Good evening.” Twirling one finger about her hair, she shifted her weight. “It’s nothing vitally important, no emergencies or anything. I just… wanted to talk to you.” She made herself sound a little hesitant on that last bit, but only a little. She wasn’t that good at acting the damsel.

“… About us.” She added.

“Us.” He repeated, looking her over. She was more made up than the last time he had seen her, but that had been in the middle of the night while he was recovering from injuries so it might be just a coincidence. Though her demeanor said it was otherwise. He didn’t know her personality well enough to tell anything about what would be considered her “normal” behavior. “I can spare a little time.” He stepped aside, allowing her into the apartment, and locking the door behind her once again.

One the door was closed and bolted shut, he went over to the table, and gathered the papers there so that none of the contents were visible. Even if this was someone he worked with under Orochimaru, his orders were to show the contents to no one.

“Thanks.” She followed him in, looking around with the smile still on her face. She’d only seen the main part of the apartment before, and the last time she’d been on her back on the couch shouting across the room at the Konoha bitch and Shikamaru while Kabuto healed the three holes in her abdomen while telling her if she didn’t shut up he’s let her bleed to death. Oh, but it was good that he couldn’t remember how much they disliked each other.

“How’ve you been?” She asked, voice concerned, but not too concerned. Sitting down on the couch, she crossed her legs at the ankles, leaning back slightly, getting comfortable.

Kabuto glanced up from the papers he was rearranging, staring at Tayuya from the corner of his eye. “I’ve been fine these last few days. No attacks, a small confrontation with that Shizune woman, and other Konoha woman who got out with a broken arm, nothing more than that.” He sat down on the couch, a few feet of space between them, turning so that he could see her properly.

“I see.” Tayuya regarded him as if she had never seen him before, looking him over as if slightly worried. “I’m glad you didn’t play into her ploys.” She murmured. “We were all- I was worried. You had me worried for a while there, Kabuto.”

Folding her hands in her lap, she tried not to fidget. “I know you’ve forgotten a lot, including our, ah, relationship… but I just wanted to know that I’m still here for you, okay? It’s a mutually, well, it was a mutually beneficial situation.”

“Relationship?” Kabuto repeated her once again. “I, of course, had no idea. Though I’m not sure how it’s going to progress any further at this point.” She would have no reason to lie to him, they both worked for the same person, and considering she was living in the same apartment as their master, she must be trustworthy on some level. Still, this was an… odd… situation. “How was it beneficial?”

“How?” Tayuya smiled a little, perhaps a tad coy. “Think about it.” She gestured to him. “You’re a healthy young man.” She put that hand now to her chest. “I’m a healthy young woman.” Giving a small laugh, she leaned back. “It’s quite an easy equation. We took care of each others… needs. Wants. That was our relationship.”

“A physical relationship then. That would make sense; it would relieve stress, a momentarily release from one’s duties and responsibilities.” Kabuto conceded, watching Tayuya’s actions, them being quite flirtatious. “I assume your visit this evening is because you wish to resume that relationship?”

“It made sense, yes.” Tayuya didn’t make any moves as of yet, torn between feeling triumphant at succeeding so far and disgusted with the fact that goddamn, this was Kabuto.

“As for resuming the relationship…” She shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t want to… push you into anything, per se. But if you’d like to return to being more comfortable with me, I can try and help you fill in any gaps you may have, or anything else you need of me.” She ducked her head. “You are my superior, after all.” Acting the slightly subservient was quite annoying. “I have, however, missed our time together, you could say.”

“I suppose the benefits remain even though I no longer remember anything that had happened between the two of us.” He mused, considering her proposal. As was suggested by Shizune when she had left his apartment, he had checked his hormone levels, so this was most likely the explanation to why they were raised. “Information that you could fill in on what I’ve forgotten would be useful, at least what you can provide. I see no problems with resuming such a relationship if that is your desire.”

Leaning forward ever so slightly, she nodded. “It is.” Leaning back once more, she got herself back on track. “But before we get to that…” Ick, it’s Kabuto for the goddamn hundredth time! That is nasty. “… I’d like to help fill in any memory patches you have questions about.”

Kabuto nodded, "That would be best. I was filled in a little on the City, and that we've been fighting with Konoha, there have been a few small scuffles, but no battles. Many of the more recent events from our world have yet to been explained to me, as well as anything in depth about any of the people not from our world here." Kabuto paused, considering what to ask about first. "Who is this Aizen? I've only heard that he is an ally."

Tayuya nodded as he spoke, silently agreeing. When Aizen was brought up, she grimaced slightly. "Aizen Sousuke." She began. "A shinigami from another world. He is, in this City, Orochimaru's ally. They share a scientific interest in the other citizens, as well as the same goals in our respective world." She had no doubt this Aizen would achieve his goal, nor that Orochimaru would fail.

"The've collaborated on a few experimentations, that you assisted in, of course." A smile in his direction. "The first we took was some shinigami woman that Kimimaro got a hold of. She was… interesting, to say the least. And there have been a few more since. I also sparred with Aizen, once." The memory was not a patiicuraly good one. "He is very powerful. His aura is immense. I was no match."

"I see." Kabuto took in the information, filing it away for future referance. He had assumed that Aizen was a dangerous man, just from the little he had heard, and the fact that Orochimaru seemed to hold him in high regard, something that he assumed was not a common occurance just by his master's personality.

"Is there anything specifically I need to know, or you feel you should tell me? Or is it mostly things that I will pick up as more time passes?" At the moment, other than sensitive information he could get only from Orochimaru, he didn't think there were any pressing matters for him to address.

"Anything... specific?" Tayuya inched closer, her mind still duly reminding her that, goddamn, KABUTO. But Orochimaru... he had spoken of an upgrade for the curse seal... something with more power, more abilties. Less pain. ... If she proved herself. And she would do most anything to do that.

"I could tell you about the Konoha plot to ensnare you? Or... I could tell you about the rest of the Sound ninja? Or..." She was even closer, almost touching him now. "I could help you relax. You must be... stressed."

Kabuto didn't respond, only watched Tayuya as she slowly drew closer. There was almost a hint of desperateness to the way she was acting, and something more. Nervousness perhaps; hesitation? Like she didn't know if she should be doing this.

If it weren't for the fact that any genjutsu or henge would have been disrupted as she had entered the apartment due to a complex jutsu he had spent three hours setting up, he would have suspected that she was actually one of the Konoha ninja trying to attempt something. That's what threw him off; why was she nervous about this if what she said was true? Perhaps it was because he didn't remember her; their relationship would have to be a fairly recent thing considering her age.

"No preference?" She asked, noting his silence and considering it a bad sign. ... What was going wrong here. She quickly thought about that. It had to be her. Her acting skills, (which had never been the best), must be lacking. And that wasn't acceptable.

Reaching up to brush hair away from his face, she murmured softly. "I don't want to push you since you don't remember me..." That's it, Tayuya, damn, you can do this. "... if you'd like to wait... I can wait."

It wasn't that Kabuto had never had a woman interested in him before, even with a good chunk of his memory missing, it was just that he had never really had any interest in them. With only that in his memory, it was a little difficult to react to this situation, because he didn't know how he was supposed to react. If there was some sort of relationship between them, he didn't feel anything regarding it, no incentive to say either yes or no.

"This is not a situation I had expected to be presented with." He explained calmly. "Where as you can provide me with useful information, I do not know what you expect out of me regarding this so called "relationship"." He had not moved from his position as she had inched closer, only kept an eye on her, monitoring her movements. He didn't know what to make of her behavior.

"Hmm, and here I thought I'd at least gotten some sort of grudging concern out of you these past years." Tayuya lied. She didn't push forward any farther, not wanting to cause a retreat.

"As for what I get out of it..." She smirked. "I have needs. You did to. I'm sure I don't have to spell it out for you." Sitting back a bit, she looked him over. "Plus, I trust you. It's good knowing a medic." She smiled. "Personally."

Kabuto smirked at that last bit. "I don't know about this trust thing, but I'm sure the latter has its advantages." Since she had backed away just the slightest bit, he took the opportunity to look her up and down. She was an attractive woman, by many standards. She was well proportioned, and while she had a pretty face, she didn't give off any sort of aura of weakness and needing protection. That was one thing he didn't like about many women, they all tried to appeal to a man's instinct to protect.

"I'm well aware of these "needs" you keep mentioning. I assure you I have a vast understanding of how the human body works. I was just not anticipating such a situation as this."

"Well, I trust you about as much as is possible in our situation." She amended. "As for anticipation, I shouldn't have expected you to, after all, you did get restarted only a little while ago." Tayuya smirked.

"I also feel as if I need to reassert my…" She gave a predatory glance. "… claim."

Raising an eyebrow, he couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. "Reassert your claim; you make it sound as if I belong to you. And more so that there is someone trying to get my attentions." Then he remembered the Konoha woman had said something to him about them being lovers, perhaps she had mentioned it to someone else as well. Telling people that they were, so the word would get around to him and make her claim more believable. "You don't mean Shizune do you?"

"You may not belong to me..." Tayuya snarled, suddenly rather angry. "But I'll be damned before I let that Konoha bitch get hold of you." She hadn't meant to curse, she knew he didn't like that, but it slipped out regardless. She was inching closer now, hands coming to grip the front of his shirt and shoulders. She hated Shizune. And had found some motivation.

"Bitch?" He managed to ask before she had him by the shirt. Well, there was obviously a lot of animosity there, though he wouldn't have expected to get such a strong response out of Tayuya. Up until this point everything she had said, while suggestive at times, was no where near what he would call colourful. "I've already chases her off, and while I may have to do so again, I can assure you she is no contest."

"Good..." Tayuya purred, leaning closer to whisper in his ear. "That's exactly wanted to hear." She relaxed her grip on his shirt slightly, easing closer. Come on, Tayuya. Don't think about how wrong this shit is. Pretend you dont know where he's been. "Because I would be dreadfully offended if you'd let that woman get close to you." She bit back her tongue when she felt the urge to curse again. Couldn't do that again. Bad idea.

Kabuto placed his hands on her shoulders, not pushing her away, just placing them there. "I would never allow an enemy to get close to me in such a fashion." Tayuya was more aggressive than he had thought she would be, much more. Then again she was a ninja, and meekness would get her nowhere in this profession. "Shizune will not get anywhere near me no matter how hard she tries." Still, best to reassure the woman before he got hurt, besides it was the truth.

She moved even closer, pressing against him with a low noise that sounded almost like a growl. "Even better.” Tayuya moved her legs to straddle Kabuto’s hips, one thought moving through her head. Take this, bitch. And even though the very idea of kissing Kabuto, let alone having sex with Kabuto, disgusted her, she was prepared to do it anyway. One hand moved to his hair, tangling her fingers within it and tugging slightly, taking that opportunity to bring her lips to his, though her brain was beginning to dissociate the entire event.

Aggressive was most certainly the word to describe Tayuya. She was predatory, territorial, and very forceful. He must have been used to this at one point in time, but her moving on top of him and kissing him came as a bit of a surprise. He didn’t close his eyes and just relax into the kiss, he watched her, still monitoring her movements and actions, but unsure how he was supposed to react to all of this. Relationships took time to establish, especially when one party didn’t even know the other, but she seemed unwilling to wait.

She almost balked, right then. God, this was gross. But she couldn’t stop now. That curse seal she had been promised was something she wanted. And being able to tell this to Shizune, personally? Definitely worth it. And by the time she left this apartment, she planned on being able to tell that bitch that Kabuto wasn’t hers any longer.

He was Sound’s.
