Aizen waited calmly in the newly hollowed out area he had constructed in the underground. He could already sense Orochimaru's presence in the area. The ninja was very punctual.

"You may enter," he said, lounging in his large recliner. )

Orochimaru entered the room. Glancing around momentarily to take in his surroundings before his eyes settled on Aizen.

"So good to see you again. I trust you've been well?" Politeness may be lost on others of the City, but he never forgott it. Formalities were required, of only briefly, before reaching any point.

"Of course."

He rose and used Kyouka Suigetsu to create an illusion of Naruto in front of them both. The figure was frozen in time and stuck on rotation.

"I wish to know everything about this boy and the 'Kyuubi' that Tayuya spoke to me of."

"That is not a problem." Orochimaru folded his arms across his chest, in a casual manner.

"Uzumaki Naruto in and of himself is nothing special. He is the son of Uzumaki Arashi, who resides within the City. As for the power that resides within him, that would be the Kyuubi no Kitsune, the most powerful of the bijyuu in my world. Naruto Kun is known as a jinchuuriki; there are, were, eight others, but the Akatsuki has been extracting the bijyuu from them one at a time and killing them.

The biyuu is sealed within the jinchuuriki at birth, because all attempts at sealing them after that have failed. I have not done extensive studying on the sealing techniques, but the one used on Naruto kun killed Arashi san and sealed his soul within the stomach of a Shinigami. Not, of course, the same as from your world. Only the nature of this City allows him to be here, as I recall him mentioning at some point, or he would still be sealed away himself.

Naruto kun is able to use the chakra of the Kyuubi because the seal on him filters the chakara into his own system, and is slowly merging the two. I know that he can call on the chakara of his own free will, but it also floods him when he is angry.

I've fought him once as he is now, and he's improved quite a bit from the last time I saw him. He is able to call upon three tails of the Kyuubi, but the fourth causes him to lose all sense of the world around him, and causes great physical damage, his flesh literally peeling away.

I know the demon chakara, depending on the individual bijyuu, gives special powers to its user. All receive greater retentive abilities equal to the amount of chakara in their systems. Sabaku no Gaara, another jinchuuriki from my world, has the ability to manipulate sand because of his bijyuu the Shukaku. Naruto kun’s is more of a physical attack type, and the chakara forms around him and is able to be used in that raw state as a weapon.

Interesting powers to say the least, but problematic in the long run, as I understand that the bijyuu are capable of communicating with the jinchuuriki and are able to exert some amount of influence on them. Again in the instance of Sabaku no Gaara, the Shukaku eats at his personality when he sleeps.

Their powers would be something very useful to have, but gaining them is a task not easily accomplished. I know the Akatsuki have found a way to do this, and have been hunting Naruto kun for some time. If you want to know anything about the process, I suggest you attempt to persuade it out of the two Akatsuki members currently in the City."

He paused, thinking for a moment. "I believe that covers it, but you may have more specific questions." Truthfully, he wanted a bijyuu of his own, but three souls in one body would not work. He would have to refine his technique a little more before it was possible.

Aizen is silent for a few moments, contemplating this. He approached the illusionary boy and circled it, calculating.

He was smiling.

"Excellent. Truly excellent! I knew that boy was nothing normal. I was surprised at what little I did manage to sense below the surface. He hides it well when not in use."

The illusion shattered quickly as his sword was resheathed.

"Yes. YES! I find this much to my liking. Think of how wonderful it would be to experiment on such a creature. To put that great well of energy under control. It may have the capacity to rival some higher level arrancar if its full power can be brought out..."

"It would be most useful to any venture." Orochimaru agreed. He wanted the power too, he would not deny that, but it was not an easy pursuit.

"Just keep in mind, kill the boy and kill the beast. Once sealed, their lives are linked."

Orochimaru shifted his weight to one foot, watching Aizen, he had not seen the man so excited about something before. Perhaps he should mention his former affiliation, after Konoha and that he knew more about this than he had stated just a moment before.

He had meant not mentioning it simply as an extension of cutting his ties with that group, but it could prove useful now, now that there was something the man wanted of his world.

"I am a former member of Akatsuki, however. I do know their secrets, which is why, you may notice, the current members and I do not get along."

He did in fact know the method of extraction, but he, more specifically, didn't know how to execute the entire cerimony with one only person. It took many powerful shinobi to preform.

"Akatsuki? What Itachi belongs to? He, too, I wish to study. I'll find the secrets to getting that creature out of the boy, even if I have to find a way to rip the extraction technique from someone's mind."

He strolled to a nearby table, taking a peach from it and chewing thoughtfully on it. Ever scheming, he was.

"You were part of it, eh? Very interesting. I was wondering something. What would you say your weapon of choice is?"

"If there is any way I can aid you in this, let me know." Without Uzumaki Naruto, things would be much easier for him, even if he had to give up the power of the bijyuu to another world. That power would not be in his, nor would it be in the hands of the Akatsuki, more than he could ask for currently.

"My weapon of choice, or the groups? That is a very broad question Aizen san."

"When you fight personally. I am saying that I wish to spar with you. To better assess your abilities and use them as a measure of those belonging to the boy and Itachi. Perhaps Arashi as well."

"Oh, is that it then."

Orochimaru considered what to say, he knew little of Aizen, other than he was powerful, but there was no way to know just to what extent. There was also something about the illusion created by that sword that bothered him.

"I fight with snakes." The answer was honest, but lacking details.

"I see...Actually, perhaps it's better I don't know everything. Surprises are good now and then. Perhaps there is a time that is good for you?"

"Not currently; I have other affairs to attend to within the next couple of days, and would rather not risk injury that could keep me from them. Perhaps at a later date, if it is not too much trouble?"

"Certainly. In other events, another of my subordinates has arrived."

"So I noticed. The one that blew up the train station, correct? Most amusing."

"I suppose that's one thing to call him."

"And what would you call this subordinate of yours?" Orochimaru found himself curious as to the topic, Aizen had not spoken of his subordinates in any detail before.

"Grimmjow Jaggerjack. He is an arrancar, and quite formidable. He has a habit of swearing a bit and getting reckless, but I can easily cow him."

"Reminds me of one of my own. I'm sure you remember her? Tayuya."

"Oh, I did get the message you passed onto her. About the curse seal that is... The one she carries is a bit outdated."

"A promising girl, but she relies too much on her illusions. A more well-rounded training regiment might do her well."

"Outdated?"

"She has more, but tends to keep to her strong points more than in necessary. She does not expand on her other training like she's been told."

"Indeed, it's been more than three years since her death in my world, and much longer than that since she recieved the one she has."

"Why not simply fix it then and increase her effectiveness?"

"Fixing it is not so simple, because of all that has changed, I would have to completely remove the current seal and give her the new seal. Both extremely painful, and time consuming. I guess it's lucky for her that she does not have to worry about surviving the process a second time, however."

"Hm. Problematic. I had much the same problem with the arrancar in the beginning. Few survived the mask removal."

"Things like these take time; though I have been considering giving Tayuya the new seal despite the difficulties. She's been doing quite well in the City, all things considered. Even asked for extra training."

"I see. I look forward to the results."

"Was that all, or were you wanting any more information on the original subject?"

"That is all I need for now. Thank you for your assistance. I'm also working on creating a gigai for your research."

"You, of course, know how to contact me if there is anything else, and I thank you for the gigai."

"I have other things to attend to, until we speak again." With that Orochimaru was gone.

As was his co-conspirator, moments later.
