(no subject)

When; November 29th, Late Afternoon
Rating; PG-13
Characters; Vala Mal Doran[livejournal.com profile] riteofmaldoran, Hector Barbossa [livejournal.com profile] captain_hector
Summary; De-sluggifying Vala xD
Log;

She staggered sideways as her legs gave out, unarmed hand flying to the side, bracing against the bent light post there. A growl rose from low in her throat. The last confrontation had left her feeling strange. butweakness could not be tolerated. She was simply out of practice with the weapon.

Filthy slaves, opposing them. They needed to be punished. Slaughtered. None could rise against them.

Her right hand lifted, dark eyes falling to the ribbon device encasing her palm. She was not finished. There were more out there. She could almost smell their betrayal. The Queen was counting on her. She and her brothers.
Snarling, she shoved away from the wall, staggered two steps, then straightened to her full height.

They needed to die. No matter what the cost.

He'd grown increasingly curious about the goings-on within the city, and now wondered heavily and sure though the streets, weilding a sword and a monkey that tended to screech at the slightest slug-related upstart. He'd stomped, left a few foot prints, stabbed, and smirked at what a silly excuse for a problem everyone was making this.

Jack had made another fuss, and Barbossa turned idle attentions to him. He was back to looking at the road, though, when he heard the shuffle of steps in front of it. Vala stood before him, looking both tired and determined. "Ah, lass," He started, giving her a suspicious eye, "Aren' ye supposed t'be ou' causin' trouble fer everyone?" He hadn't been completely oblivious to what was going on, and paid special attentions to people he happened to know. Vala had been causing quite a bit of trouble, talking as if she'd gone mad and, apparently, had taken fighting to the streets.

He smiled lightly, taking a firm grip on his sword.

"Hm." His small smile faded, "Quite a tongue yeh've developed, girl." His feet moved into a solid stance below him. He wasn't so sure about the weapon she was holding, so he figured that he out to move first and see any counter she had to offer. He didn't want to hurt her, for sure, and so when he lunged, sword poised before him as his arm lashed out, it wasn't a lethal aim, purposfully crooked.
