INCOMPLETE;

When; Dec. 20th
Rating; PG...?
Characters; Guy Cecil ([livejournal.com profile] shakunage) & Faye Valentine ([livejournal.com profile] glock30)
Summary; So a guy and a sexy lady walk into a bar... They're on this 'date', you see? To Club Automatica, and the guy has gynphobia. Something he's completely forgotten and the club's bound to have a whole lot of close contact. And best part, they'll probably end up a bit drunk by the end of the night...
Log;
The sun had set and the night was just beginning, and as if the City during the day was lively enough, wait till you saw how everything come alive as soon as the sun's rays dissipated from the sky. Bright lights and neon signs lit up the way to dangerous and questionable places. But it meant nothing to Guy; he had his own agenda to take care of so such things didn't matter to him.

Blue eyes glancing past red lights and signs that promised pleasure for those who were lonely, Guy made his way towards Building 8, apartment 10. While on his way, he wondered about what sort of things he'll see at the club. The swordsman knew better than to expect the same behavior of that in a tavern especially seeing how different and unpredictable this City was. After all, today there were a bundles of stuff creatures running about clutching onto various women's bosoms.

So tasteless and rude. Barbaric even.

A woman needs to be treated like she's the only thing that matters in the world! Not some sort of object that is ranked by how blessed she due to her genetics. It was disgusting really, but no matter, if any decided to interfere with their date... well, they would be getting a taste of his blade.

[ooc; D: Sorry I took forever with this;;]

Faye wasn't the type of girl to wait around for anyone, "date" or not. The fact that she was going out seemed to overshadow all gentlemanly characteristics and displays of so-called manliness, since she was as eager as she ever had been to get to Automatica and have some fun. The last time she had been out, really, had been that ball, which hadn't necessarily been a 10 on her Fun Scale. The nightlife always promised a good time, as far as Faye was concerned at least, and with someone like Guy... Well. It would be an evening.

She didn't like wearing the same old thing out and about. After all, she had appearances to keep up. So she changed into a snug pair of pants and a backless halter, never mind the weather. If Guy was as polite as he made out to be, she has half-expecting a jacket to come out of nowhere. Still, it wasn't too cold to go out herself, even if those little... things were running around. She could always kick a few of them, since her boots went with the outfit.

Stepping out into the hallway, she made sure she had her lighter and cigarettes before she locked the door behind her. Faye turned to head for the stairs when she heard footsteps just around the corner. She smirked and said, "Right on time, just like I thought."

"Like my life depended on it," Faye replied, glancing at Guy with a smirk as he extended an arm and, obviously along with it, a hand. It was a pleasant surprise, even if it wasn't a surprise in the slightest. Boys like Guy were easy enough to read, even if Faye had promised herself she would refrain from doing so if only for tonight. And for Guy's sake. She didn't want to show her teeth too much.

Even so, Faye was amused and impressed. She took the hand like a good lady should and said, "My, aren't you off to a wonderful start." She didn't miss his sweep of her figure or the approval that she saw in it. Used to that sort of thing, she didn't let it bother her, especially so with Guy. Like he would try anything. It still went through her like a surge of hot coffee. Every and any woman liked compliments, even in the form of stares and sweeps.

"Well," she said, tossing her hair back, out of her eyes, "lead the way, good sir."

Faye rolled her eyes good-naturedly, snorting when he dropped her hand and took a step away from her. That was cause for a little bit of alarm on Faye's part, since she wasn't as used to putting men four feet away from her as she was putting them four feet closer. Still, it wasn't like she didn't respect it. Most men would have resorted to groping her by now, and there were enough of those little things running around for her to handle. It was cause for a cigarette, which she produced and lit.

"Tarnish?" she echoed, smirking at him herself. "That's highly unlikely at this point." He intrigued her, if anything else. Really, with a smug little smile like that, who could resist? Charmer for sure, she thought to herself. It wasn't like she hadn't dealt with them before, but she trusted Guy enough that it didn't matter.

"Looking isn't going to hurt anyone, and it's not like you just undressed me with your eyes or anything. Besides, I got dressed up just for you," she said, exhaling smoke. "Thanks, by the way." And she meant it, as much as she could at least.

Automatica was down in the Underground, but Faye knew a shortcut, down some of the darker alleys that ultimately ended in more neon and glowing street corners. "This way, cowboy," she said, tugging his sleeve a little, pulling back since he didn't seem to care too much for the contact.

"Suit yourself," Faye said, looking up at the passing scenery with little interest. The lights and signs were all familiar to her by now, and she wasn't sure if that was just a result of boredom or habit. She'd been down here a million times after wall, but it was nice to have new company now and then. Plus, Faye knew how to party, and Guy looked like he hadn't partied since the womb. A little couldn't hurt.

Besides, he really did have a nice smile. Nice guy, good-looking? What was this, her birthday?

She snorted at his comment, turning a corner and taking another drag of her cigarette so that she said through smoke, "You'd be the first that wasn't of the... well, never mind." Cori came to mind, but she ignored it, field stripping her cigarette once she was finished with it. She tapped the pack out, thinking she would be polite right back at him, and asked, "Want one?"

"Definitely a shortcut," she replied, nodding toward a set of stairs that would lead them directly to the Underground. "It's a lot faster than getting on the damn subway or something. I found this way the first month I was here." Guy seemed to flinch when she pulled him after her, but she only shrugged it off, giving him a know-it-all grin.

Shadows engulfed them as she pulled Guy down another side street. They weren't far now, however. She could feel the baseline through the soles of her boots, and if she strained her ears enough she could hear a noisy chatter that always signified the gathered crowd smoking and socializing outside of Automatica.

She gave Guy a withering look as he turned down her offer for a cigarette, but ultimately smirked in the end. "You don't smoke, or you've never tried?" she asked, apparently always eager to corrupt. Truth be told he didn't look too corruptible. Even if he seemed rather innocent, he looked steadfast in it, which was better than being lukewarm in other things.

"Yeah, subway. We can take it next time if you're interested," she said, startling to feel a bit cold from the December night air. She thought about lighting another cigarette, since it always made her feel warm, but she didn't want Guy to think she was some sort of train wreck chain-smoker so she passed the urge up. She snorted at his comment, however, and said, "Who knows? Lost in the Underground somewhere? I'm a bubbling fountain of information, don't you know."

A moment later they turned another corner. Faye remarked with a smirk, "Oh. We're here."
