Log: Ongoing

When;Way back on Tuesday night, before the infamous Haiku incident.
Rating; G, most likely
Characters; Rip van Winkle and Ernula ([livejournal.com profile] operabunny)
Summary; Rip enters the opera house, meeting one of its occupants during her visit.
Log;

The intense, inviting lamplight glowed; anyone who possessed a fanciful mind would likely say it had a life of its own (and perhaps even those without may have very well agreed).

She stepped inside. Its large doors shut behind her, the sound which resulted echoing throughout the building. Rip raised an eyebrow.

No one.

Apart from the mundanely familiar scent of humans who had been and gone, which was not at all surprising.

The vampire made her way down the aisle and hoisted herself up onto the stage, gingerly setting her musket beside her. She remembered the little girl who, while her unsuspecting parents slept, managed to sneak into the closed town opera house and hold her own exclusive "performances". That girl, now an ex-member of a group Hell-bent on the ultimate war, would never have believed she'd end up at such a familiar place within the confines of a parallel world so many years later.

Rip couldn't help but chuckle to herself.

Taking a deep breath (purely out of instinctive habit), she lent her voice to the empty audience.

"Morgenlich leuchtend im rosigen Schein,
von Blüt' und Duft
geschwellt die Luft,
voll aller Wonnen,
nie ersonnen,
ein Garten lud mich ein..."

Click. Everything went dark..if only for a moment. The noise that followed...was it laughter, or just the creak of the floorboards? And then...

Spotlights, shedding flakes of dust as they are roused from their slumber, blink into existance and cast a dull glow over center stage, framing a small table that one could almost swear hadn't been there when the lights were on. Atop it rested a child's tea set and a few lopsided flowers in a chipped vase.

Once the eyes of the new guest had been successfully drawn to their intended destination, the lights returned full force and the little girl who had set up the dramatic introduction stood behind the performer, rocking on her heels.

"Don't stop~ ♪!" she coaxed.

[ ooc: ...@x@ ah,i've never logged with Ernula before. *spaz* hope i do alright. I have no clue how she managed to get around to Rip so fast. ..she's just really hyper. we'll go with that! XDD ]

Ernula leaned forward, balancing on one foot. "You sing pretty~!" she announced with a wide smile. "Bunnies think you do too!" She held up the black stuffed rabbits and made them clap their plush paws together.

Her eyes drifted to the stage and she pondered a reply for a few moments. "Oh! Tea set,tea set...I found it!"

[ OOC: thank you x3! ..and..*bows deeply* so so sorry for the delay in reply. I've been a bit preoccupied with a convention and applying for a job @x@; ]
