Summary; Fuyu and Kantarou go out for dinner, but as master and servant or more than that~?

Fuyu had already retrieved Kantarou's coat, and had slipped into a Victorian dress. Though aware of her position as a servant for the day, Fuyu also knew that it was a curse, but decided to play along. When she was ready, she lead Kantarou outside where a carriage was waiting. She held open the door and motioned for him to get in. "After you, Kantarou-sama."

"Fuyu-chan, you look cute~ ♥" he said, taking Fuyu-chan's hand in his. "How about today, you become my equal, Fuyu-chan~? Today, it'll just be us friends~ No master and servant~ ♥"

Kantarou understood this had to be a curse, but he didn't really mind. It was a bit... amusing, actually, and it reminded him of home where he was literally master to Haruka and Youko through the name contracts he made with them. He was going to make sure to be careful with his words too; he'd noticed earlier how Fuyu seemed to be compelled to follow his orders down to the last letter...

"Kanarou-sama, you are such a generous master." She followed him into the carriage and the driver started the horses. She sat rigid, nervously staring out the window but occasionally glancing back over at the figure sitting next to her.

"Well, Fuyu-chan~ ♥ For a relationship between master and servant to work, there has to be friendship. Otherwise, they won't stick together and that would suck~ ne?"

Kantarou looked out of the window beside him and then hmm'ed. "Today is a beautiful day, ne?"

"It is. I love the winter..." She sighed. "I only wish I was well enough to enjoy it more." Thinking about the winter, she began to notice how cold she was. Perhaps a carriage was not the best idea, since it provided no heating. She shivered a little, and asked, "Kantarou-sama, may I...lean against you for warmth?"

Kantarou promptly removed his coat and wrapped it around Fuyu's arms. "You really don't need to ask for that, Fuyu-chan~!" He grinned and then added, "We're not really master and servant~ We're friends!"

Fuyu smiled and leaned against Kantarou. "I'm sorry, I don't want to get sick. I wouldn't be a good servant if I did."

The red-eyed young man placed his hand on Fuyu's head and began smoothing her hair gently. "I'll take care of you when you get sick, Fuyu-chan."

She closed her eyes and laid against him. "But today I have to take care of you!" The carriage slowed and came to a stop. Fuyu stood and opened the door for Kantarou. "We're here, Kantarou-sama!" She smiled and waited for him to exit the carriage, though she really wished it had been a longer ride.

Kantarou gave Fuyu a smile before stepping out. He squinted in the sunlight a bit. "Waah! It's so bright! Ne, Fuyu--" He turned and held out a hand. "How about I help Fuyu-oujouchan down~?"

Fuyu blushed as she took his hand and carefully lowered herself to the ground. Still holding on to his hand, she wrapped his arm around her back and started walking towards the door. "I'll have none of that, you're the master today, Kantarou-sama."

"So? Fuyu-chan is a girl~ Where I come from, girls need to be honored, no matter their position~" Kantarou said cheerfully. "Beside, remember~ Friends!"

As they entered the establishment Kantarou thought to make sure to get a table by the window. That was always the best seat.

The building was heated, so Fuyu removed Kantarou's coat and hung it off the back of his chair. She then pulled out the chair and said, "your seat, Kantarou-sama." She was having fun playing out her role, irregardless of the fact that they both knew it wasn't a curse.

"Thank you, Fuyu-chan," he said as he sat down, deciding to play with Fuyu. "So, what does my most trust-worthy servant suggest we order?" He used a deeper voice, in an attempt to imitate the typical, old noble. He couldn't resist snickering a bit after that though.

Before Fuyu could answer, a waitress came buy and set two hot mugs of peppermint hot chocolate on the table. Fuyu giggled and replied, "this! I called ahead so we could keep warm!"

Having never really drunk hot chocolate, Kantarou first stared at the content of his mug. "Mmmm. It's chocolate, ne? I think this'll be interesting~" he chirped before picking up the mug with his two hands. "Hot..." he murmured before carefully taking a sip from it.

He was quiet for a while, tasting the drink in his mouth, before breaking into a wide grin. "As expected from Fuyu-chan~ This tastes wonderful~"

"I'm glad!" She waited a bit for hers to cool off and then took a sip herself. She then opened the menu and started to look around. "Kantarou-sama, why don't you decide for us? There's so much!"

"Uh..." Kantarou laughed a bit, nervously. "I'm not really that good when it comes to choosing~ I'd like anything... as long as it's not that bad... so, Fuyu-chan--" He put his menu on the table and gave his servant a disarming smile. "I'll let you choose that too~"

Fuyu giggled as the waitress returned, and handed her the menu. "We'll have whatever the head chef recommends!" She stared out the window, watching the snow fall to the ground. She had seen snow so much, but her father had never let her go out in it. Natsu had always stayed inside to play with her since she could go out. Natsu...where was he? She wiped her face quickly before it looked like she was crying and tried to think about something else. She didn't want to ruin the lunch she was having.
