Summary; Both meet at the carousel so that Robin can take a look at his wounds, after Jyabura had a rude fight with Sir Crocodile the day before. They're more likely going to use the chance for simple socializing, however...
Log;
Jyabura had postured himself next to that creepy carousel, arms crossed and obviously not in his brightest mood. But then, after this stupid Family Day, he won't have much reasons to cheer up for a very long time; the only thing he was very sure about.
Fucking sandman, he thought, after gazing at the carousel for quite a while and remembering the unholy day he woke up in the City. Perfect time to sit in my garden and have some warm sake, instead of waiting for this... girl. At least those stupid snowball morons are finally gone.
He made some kind of annoyed grunt, buttoned up his jacket (still wearing his usual martial arts dress, only leaving out the sunglasses, apparently not caring for the weather) and kept on waiting.

So why was she on her way to the carousel to look after a man she loathed? Implusiveness, probably. And just maybe because said man was the father of her unborn child. But only maybe. Robin's own sarcasm amused her.
After a short while, she reached the carousel and walked up to the now almost familiar figure.
"Hello; you seem cold." she smiled.

"I'm not, don't worry.", he answered, taking a deep breath. He did not smile back either, he was still offended by the talk they had earlier.
"So, where to go now, doctor?"
no subject
She highly doubted that last fact, though; considering his pissy mood throughout the day.
"Well, that's good to hear." she casually said, rubbing her hands and shifting a bit on her position. "I think it's best to either go to your apartment or somewhere else, because I don't think that my nakama would like to see you right now."

Those were sure as hell not his only wounds, but for nothing in the world he'd make her finger around on his chest where his old injury opened up once more.
"And hurry up, I'm busy."
no subject
She grabbed his arm and sprayed the disinfectant on the wounds, knowing that those weren't the only ones. Crocodile was way too powerful to only injure someone's arm, even when that someone was a secret assassin.
"May I ask what keeps you busy?" she murmured, while tearing the cloth in two with her teeth.

For a long while he said nothing after she asked him, it was probably only for the sake of making conversation. Once more he asked himself what the hell has been wrong with him when he suggested that whole "getting along" bullshit.
"I'll leave", he answered finally.

She started to doubt her decision to even help him, why should she anyway? She hated him, and that feeling was probably mutual despite his protection. She didn't need it.
"Leave, as in...?" she asked with a slight smile. "The verb "to leave" could mean a lot of things in this city."

While he rolled down his sleeve he gave her a look like she was kidding him. Her smile disgusted him, it was usually a sign that she'd start some kind of offending, anger him with some bullshit and play the "ice princess" after that. More and more she reminded him of a cat with her holier-than-thou attitude. She was not even trying to get into a neutral stance with him, and that lack of cooperation annoyed him. But then, exactly this cold and indifferent behaviour made him suspicious. He hated cats because they were egoistical, sleeky traitors and Robin seemed to be an excellent cat.
"As in leave the City", he said, "no need to act like you'd not know that."
He turned around to go, then stopped and looked at her over his shoulder. "Oh, and thanks", he added, waving with his bandaged arm before he was about to leave the place.

Her mood had turned a 180 degrees in just a matter of seconds. The bastard was actually walking away from his responsibilities; and that just happened to be one of the things Robin loathed with a passion.
"Fine, be egoistical, have it your way." she spat, feeling a raging anger burning up inside of her. "I'm done with you."
no subject
He'd expected her to turn around just like he did and to walk away, but fine, as he's not going to see and deal with her for quite a while, he can also take part in some lovely "farewell"-drama. If it would make her feel better, there you go. Most probably she'll just go away angered any second and leave him alone standing like an idiot, so what does it matter?
"You can't be done with someone you never had anything started with", he said, arms crossed but still not facing her. "If you won't even try to cooperate for the sake of the unborn, don't expect me to run around after you like some fucking dog. Don't toy around with me and try to put a wolf on a leash, it might end up bad."
Stupid cow, she doesn't even know why and for what price I'm leaving, he thought.
no subject
"I'm doing my very best to be nice to you and help you, but you just snap at me and accuse me of apparently "not trying to cooperate"." she snarled. "And now you're just going to leave this place for no reason at all, leaving me here to deal with the whole situation myself? Cooperation indeed."
If he was going to be unreasonable, then she was going to be too.

He sighed annoyed; that talk turned into exactly what he expected it, into a useless, hateful quarrel. He calmed down, he tried to. It wouldn't bring them any further.
"I have my reasons. I can't and won't make it undone, I made my deal with the City." He looked into her face. "I don't get your anger. You should be happy that the bastard that impregnated you finally leaves, you never wanted any business with him anyways. Ain't that reason to cheer up?"
"Sure it's not as good as seeing him dead, though.", he added after a while.
no subject
"And don't give me that "you should be happy" crap, because that isn't true. I'm at peace with the fact that you're the so-called bastard who impregnated me, so you should too. At least give me a reason for this sudden, foolish decision." she added in a calmer tone.
no subject
"Yeah. You're at peace with the pure fact, but that's it. The whole rest brings you as many nightmares as it brings me. I accepted the fact that I'm the father and I'll take my responsibilities, but I'm not happy about it. I'm not happy about you being my child's mother."
All that he said seemed quite pointless to him. Why was he still here anyways? Would she inform him if she left? Sure as hell not.
"Don't you get it? I can't bring you a reason you'd understand or accept. I don't owe you something either. You're only upset because you lose a useful tool, not your kid's father."
He wished it would be over. That woman and he would never get along with each other, it would only turn into a huge desaster sooner or later.
no subject
"You're not taking your responsibilities at all with this behaviour." she said, suddenly fed up with the situation. This wasn't going to help; it'd only worsen the situation and she knew that she might enter dangerous ground if she'd anger him.
She turned around and continued, now in a quieter tone: "And what you said really hurts me, even though according to you, I don't care about you at all. I hope you're happy."
no subject
"...but I might be back very soon. Much sooner than you'd like, Miss Robin.", he finished and actually called her by her name the first time. "I'm certainly sure you'll get along with your obscure plans in that time without your wolf you mistook for a pet dog."
For some reason he smiled and felt relieved. "Why, actually I am happy. Finally we're even with each other, then. It was about damn time."
no subject
"Just don't get yourself killed." she said, still in that quiet tone. She looked over her shoulder and smiled weakly before walking away.
"I wouldn't forgive you."
