Summary; After the master/servant curse Isane, in a rush to apologize, ends up stuck to her captain in a most awkward manner.
Log;
“U- U- Unohana-taichou…” Isane stuttered, eyes squeezed shut and a heavy blush covering her face. This was only slightly awkward.
Isane had woken that morning, sat up in bed, yawned, and stretched. It was when she saw Unohana-taichou dozing lightly by her beside that she remembered the events of the day before.
She’d been so rude to Unohana-taichou, calling her by her first name and being so familiar and acting as though the older woman was under her… it was so embarrassing!
The vice captain had veritably leaped out of bed to awaken her captain and beg for forgiveness for her impertinence, but disaster had struck in the form of a sheet tangled around her ankle, and down they both had tumbled.
And somehow, through some struck of evil luck, or more likely a curse, Isane somehow found the side of her face stuck to the center of her captain’s bosom.
“… I’m really sorry, Unohana-taichou…” She managed to get out, working up her nerve to even speak, so awkward she felt, trying to get off the floor, or at least to move from pinning the smaller woman beneath her frame.
Unohana blinked as she took in the situation. Isane was firmly attached to her chest and was apologizing profusely. Looking down at Isane, Unohana noticed that her hair wasn’t styled as it usually was, plaited in the front. It was pulled back. She recalled Isane asking… no, telling her to change her hair the night before.
She placed a comforting hand on Isane’s head. “Isane… It’s alright. We were both affected by a curse, more than likely. Nothing you can be blamed for.”
Though was taller than her captain, Isane didn’t weigh too much. Even still, the pressure on Unohana’s chest made it slightly difficult to breathe. “Can you… Can you get up?”
“Ah, I’m so sorry Unohana-taichou, ah…” Isane tried to lift herself up on her elbows, managing to get her long legs tucked under so that most of her weight was on her knees, instead of her chest and head, which… she still couldn’t manage to separate from her captain’s breasts.
“I- is that better?” She muttered, trying to will the blood away from her face. This was really… really… really… embarrassing. And it didn’t help that Unohana-taichou was just taking it all in stride, patting her on the head like she usually did to comfort her, facing everything with the ease and calm that Isane so admired.
“That is better, Isane, thank you.” With the absence of the pressure on her chest, Unohana found it easier to breathe. “This should only last until midnight, and until then, it may be best if we stay in.”
Unohana shifted slightly. Even without Isane’s weight on her, it was still an uncomfortable position to be stuck in. “I’m going to try and sit up, alright?” She figured that the two of them sitting upright would be more comfortable than her laying on the ground and Isane bent over her.
“A-alright…” Isane moved with the older woman, so that the captain was sitting upright and her vice was beside her, albeit hunched over, palms braced on her knees to try and keep the pressure off her neck and spine. That just wasn’t comfortable. But she’d rather she be uncomfortable than Unohana, after all, it was her fault they were in this mess, anyway.
“… I’m really sorry about yesterday, ma’am…” The tall woman tried to brush loose wisps of her gray hair from her face. “… I would never assume to order you around like that, and I think your hair looks fine anyway you want to do it, and you should never be the on bringing me tea, it should be the other way around, and I wouldn’t want you staying up just because I have nightmares and I’m really, really, sorry and it won’t happen again and-“ Isane paused to take a breath, her words tumbling out all a jumble and in a rush.
“Isane, I promise… It’s ok,” Unohana said, holding up a hand to stop Isane’s onslaught of apologies. “We can’t control how the curses affect us. And it’s not as if you ordered me to do anything bad. I don’t mind changing my hair or making you tea, Isane.”
She noticed Isane’s hunched position. “Are you comfortable, Isane? We can try and move again, if you need.”
Heaving a sigh Isane tried to shake her head in a refusal, but quickly realized she probably shouldn’t try that. She was used to hunching over anyway, she usually did it unconsciously to try and minimize the height difference that was glaringly apparent when she stood beside her captain.
“M’fine, ma’am…” The tall woman managed to mumble, finally having subdued her embarrassed blush to a lower level.
“… You’re so kind, Unohana-taichou, being so forgiving, what with me being so clumsy....” It took Isane several moments to get up the courage to say such a thing.
Unohana smiled. She tried her best to look Isane in the eyes, but in their given position, there was more of an angle than she would have liked.
"You've done nothing worth apologizing for, Isane. And I don't think you're clumsy at all," she reassured the younger woman. For all the clumsiness Isane did posess, she made up for it in capability as a vice-captain ten times over.
"... Thank you, Unohana-taichou." Isane sighed softly, but she was smiling a little.
Now they just had to wait for the day to end.
