Summary; In a bid to get rid of Kyuubi, Naruto organised a meeting with him, his father, and a certain ex-Shinigami captain. But things have changed since then.
Log;
Aizen had already been waiting beside the fountain for a ten minutes by the time his guests arrived. He was dressed in casual attire, lightly sipping on a thermos full of hot chamomile tea. He had already set up a rather large parasol to give them shade for the meeting.

"Ah, gentleman!" he exclaimed as they entered his line of sight, "Come on over!"

The tall man was wearing his best "nice guy" smile and a basket of sandwiches was at his side.

He was having second thoughts about all of this. Ones that had come to light after a certain talk on Christmas night. But that hadn't stopped him from making the 'appointment'. They would talk, and that would be it. And if all went to plan, they could find a way to get the Shinigami's enemy off of their back.

Glancing up at Arashi, Naruto knew that he wouldn't be in any danger. After all, he wasn't going to say more than he needed to. And if the worse came to the worst, at least he wasn't alone. He just had to hope that Aizen had kept to his own word and not invited certain 'friends' of his either.

Looking up as Aizen came into view, he sighed to himself, masking his unease as well as he could.

Arashi was aware of everything around them, at least everything he could see, hear and feel. He intended to say very little, only see what it was that Aizen had to say and help Naruto make a decision about it. Also, he did not trust Aizen. The other man had proven himself to be an enemy of the Shinigami as well as a potential ally towards Itachi and Akatsuki (if not for both of them wanting the Kyuubi).

Aizen set down three cushions under the parasol and bade them to sit down across from him. He laid out some tea and poor boy sandwiches for each of them, then cleared his throat.

“So, here we are. I trust you both had no trouble finding me in the crowd. Don't worry, I'll give us some room." He closed his eyes for a moment and expanded his reiatsu energy, the unseen force causing the area of empty space around them to widen. People seemed to be swerving around them as if repelled by a phantom wall.

"That's better," he said, sipping his tea, "So, tell me about how you got this creature inside your body?"

Watching Aizen seriously for a few minutes, Naruto eventually headed forward, taking a seat that allowed him a view of both the man and as much of the area as he could. He wasn't going to let his guard down around the other. He couldn't afford to. The fact he seemed to be able to force people away through his energy alone merely added to it.

“He was sealed inside of me when I was a baby." Aizen only needed to know the basics, or at least that was as much as he wanted to give the man just now. If Arashi thought it was safe to say more, he assumed the man would. Or of course, stop him from saying too much if need be.

"The seal I used could only be performed successfully on a child," Arashi replied, though he did step forward, he did take a seat. Body language said he was quite comfortable with Aizen, right here, but inwardly, he was tensed. "Any and all of this information will be for naught if we are unwilling to give you Kyuubi, for one. Or for two, if it is not as powerful as you think."

Aizen raised his hands placatively.

"Of course, of course! I wouldn't dare impose on such a powerful ninja as yourself. I daresay that it would cost me my life." Aizen took another a bit of sandwich and a sip of tea, making sure he stayed as amicable as possible with the people he was hosting.

"What about Akatsuki? What can humans do with such a power? I was under the assumption that their numbers were quite small. Besides, how can humans ever hope to control such overwhelming strength? It is lunacy. I find myself wondering why you chose to seal the creature, instead of killing it. Destroying something is the most efficient means of dealing with it."

Now Akatsuki was something he hated that he knew about. If Kyuubi hadn't been there, then Itachi and the others wouldn't have a reason to...hurt the people he cared about.

"They're gathering all of the biju together. Even though there aren't many of them, they're...all pretty strong." As for being able to control the beasts, it couldn't be impossible. After all, he himself was planning to try and get Kyuubi to at least listen to him.

"Death for any creature is a last resort," He replied, not wanting to give Aizen too much information. Then half smiled at the other man, "You need not use false pretence with us. I am very aware of your strength." He, after all, had an ally with the angels and they were aware of this man.

For a moment, there was an almost imperceptible flash in Aizen's eye as he heard Yondaime speak about his false modesty.

"Hm...Very well. I was only trying to make you feel less self-conscious," he said, shrugging. He took Kyouka Suigetsu from under the bench and offered the sword to Yondaime.

"I am offering this as a gesture of good faith, as I am about to do a minor scan of your son. Be careful with her." He gestured for Naruto to scoot a bit closer to him.

Now this, he wasn't happy about. His gazed flicked immediately to his father, unsure about what to do. He knew that Aizen would need to check him and the seal, but he wasn't expecting...well, he wasn't sure what he was expecting. And that familiar burning feeling inside him felt like a bad omen. "Dad?" It was up to Arashi as to what he'd do next.

Arashi didn't accept the sword, instead, his eyes narrowed at Aizen. The Yondaime was cheerful and pleasant, by nature, but his demeanour was quite serious at the moment, "No." He wasn't worried that Aizen would try something, rather he did not know whether it would be a good idea for Aizen to learn the mechanics of the seal.

Aizen took the zanpakutou back, pulling the sword into his lap. He calmly smiled at Yondaime, but when he locked eyes with the former Hokage his eyes held the purest of malice.

"You're making it very difficult to do a proper examination, Yondaime. I really don't know how you expect me to help if I can't check him." He looked from Yondaime, to Naruto, and back to the Yondaime, again.

That single word was all he needed to hear. If Arashi didn't want him to, then he wouldn't. But Aizen had also made a good point. If he was going to see what he could do about Kyuubi, he'd have to at least know what he was dealing with. Otherwise, he doubted he'd ever get the man off of his back. "Isn't there a different way you can do it?"

The malice in his expression was all Arashi needed to see. "You see, the problem is, we don't know what that scan actually does. But I have a good idea as to your intentions for Kyuubi." Then gave a look to Naruto.

"If you wish to be rid of Kyuubi that badly, the choice is your own, but it is my opinion that he is a bad person and would misuse the power."

Aizen turned to Naruto, the traces of anger gone, and smiled down at him.

"Well, the choice is ultimately yours, my boy. What will it be? I don't think your father likes me much, so maybe he has a point?" He stared at Naruto, waiting for an answer.

Why had he agreed to this again? Oh yeah, it had something to do with his earlier want to get rid of both Kyuubi and Aizen's attention. But now... He looked back over to Arashi, smiling weakly.

"...things haven't changed much, but..." A sigh, and he forced himself to look at Aizen, his expression turning serious. "I was given Kyuubi to look after and stop people from using him in the wrong way. If I gave him to you, I know you'd just hurt people with him." His voice turned quieter, not wanting to set the ex-captain off. "I don't need your help. Not anymore."

Arashi inclined his head, "I do apologize for the waste of your time, Sir. But it would appear this meeting is over." Then smiled gently at Naruto, "I'm sorry this didn't turn out better. But. .heh, I told you that you were the only one I could trust." And rose, offering Naruto a hand up.

Aizen stood quickly, grasping his zanpakutou tightly with both hands.

"And I am sorry, as well. I had hoped to be more far more pleasant." He began to draw Kyouka Suigetsu from the sheath, causing it to glow brightly.

"Shikai," he said, smiling.

Taking the offered hand to get up, Naruto grinned back at his dad, before turning back to face Aizen again. What he saw though wasn't something he particularly wanted to see. The man was drawing his Zanpakuto, and after everything he'd learnt from the other Shinigami... His eyes narrowed, easily dropping into position alongside Arashi. If this was how things were going to be, then Aizen would soon find out exactly what the two could do.

"I knew you would try and take Kyuubi by force," Arashi replied, eyes narrowed. Reaching into his pouch, he withdrew a handful of tagged kunai and released them. "Remember the jutsu, Naruto?" The sword was too powerful to fight.

Aizen used shun po to evade the tagged kunai’s, then began to cast a fire kido. With a few gestures and a pointing of his hand in their direction, he released the spell. Within moments, a low-level pillar of flames was heading for them.

"You should consider yourselves lucky that I don't want to kill either of you." He stood back and waited for them to react.

He glanced sideways at his father, the smirk on his face being answer enough. Of course he remembered. Ever since he'd been taught the basics, Naruto had been training whenever he could to improve his ability. So, the moment Aizen launched his attack, Naruto's hands were moving, forming the familiar seals, before disappearing from his spot to another off to the side.

Arashi went through the hand seals as well and in a flash was across from Naruto, behind Aizen as well. Eyes narrowed as he thought for a split second, with Naruto here, he couldn't fight full out, having to ensure his safety. Then caught Naruto's eyes and yelled, "Simultaneous attack. Rasengan." And began to form chakra in his hands.

Aizen watched the techniques with interest. It was very few times he got to see ninjas in action and this was his perfect chance. Tayuya had been a major disappointment, but these men seemed MUCH stronger. An excellent opportunity.

"Rasengan?" he asked, lowering his sword for a moment, "What in the world could that be?" Given that they were both using it, it had to be quite strong. He could hardly contain his excitement. He placed his sword in the sheath and waited for the attack, ready to dodge if needed.

Nodding his head, Naruto quickly brought his hands up in front of him, making the required seal for, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" A clone of himself appeared seconds later, already starting to form the sphere in his outstretched palm. Eyes narrowing on the man in front of him, the pair created the Rasengan in no time at all. And, waiting for Arashi to make his own move, he was ready to attack with full force.

The blue energy swirled between his hands and after a breath, he said, "Rasengan!" And lunged forward, hoping to catch Aizen between Naruto and himself without worry of hitting each other. There was a moment where he was quite pleased to be fighting by Naruto.

Aizen's face was frozen in a look of surprise when the two attacked. He had considered the small, glowing balls of energy to be largely unimpressive. When they got close, however, he noticed the surprisingly large amount of energy contained in their attacks. And he couldn't dodge at their range. His body shuddered as the two attacks struck him at once, the chakra exploding into his body. He stood there a moment before coughing up a small amount of blood onto Yondaime.

"I see..." he said, reaching up and wiping the blood from his mouth, "So THAT is Rasengan. Quite powerful."

He looked deeply into Yondaime's eyes, ignoring his son, "But it still lacks the raw power to put me down."

With hands raised, he made a series of small gestures rapidly.

"Thunder Roar Cannon."

He moved on cue, his own attack being launched the exact same moment as his fathers. He couldn't help but smirk as the two attacks hit, taking pleasure in Aizen's moment of shock. However, his quick recovery was something he hadn't counted on. Another set of hand signs and Naruto retreated to one of the nearby tags, his clone doing the same.

Rasengan hadn't taken him down, and now, the man was retaliating...and ignoring him? A glare. ...and a hand dropping to his stomach. It was his last resort, but one he'd be ready to jump to if need be.

"Go, Naruto!" Arashi replied and moved away from the nucleus of the blast. What part did catch him, knocked him back against the fountain, ribs bruising under the pressure. With a grunt, he retreated back, with handseals, to one of the tagged kunai that he had earlier thrown.

Aizen began to advance slowly on Yondaime. His wounds from the dual Rasengan were dripping blood, but he didn't seem very phased by it. He cast another small fire spell, letting it flash against his side, cauterizing the wounds. "Rrr..." he grunted, showing his first real pain.

"Yondaime-san, I'm afraid I'll have to learn more from your vivisection than your lips." He pulled out his sword and took a wide swing, slicing straight through a section of the fountain, which fell behind him.

"Kyouka is rather hungry. Perhaps I should feed her."

Ignoring Arashi's words, Naruto was quick to form another Rasengan blast. This time however, the fact that Aizen was not only trying to attack his Father, but also ignoring him in the process added to his anger.

"Get away from him!" One warning, and that was it. And so... "Oodama Rasengan!" An even more powerful version of the Yondaime's Rasengan, an attack he'd only used the one time before, but he was more than ready to use it time and time again if he had to.

His gaze shifted from Aizen to Naruto, eyes widening slightly at the boy's permutation of Rasengan. He couldn't help but be proud at of that accomplishment. However, he gathered himself and waited to attack after Naruto finished his.

This time Aizen was NOT going to be taken off-guard. He quickly released his shikai and turned to face the the young ninja at his back.

"Oh my. That IS impressive. Please do. And this time, put some feeling into it." He raised his reiatsu in the atmosphere and walked toward Naruto.

"Come boy."

Aizen stopped and raised a defensive stance, awaiting this new attack.

He refused to let himself get put off by the way Aizen was reacting to his newest attack. Instead, he frowned, eyes narrowing dangerously as he launched the attack at the man. The very same attack he'd used to defeat 'Itachi'. But something was off. Even as he threw the attack, he could feel it. ...and the growl that tore its way out of his throat was a good indication. Both he and Kyuubi were feeling the same thing about this man. He was a problem that needed to be gotten rid of.

He watched the new attack, the new form of Rasengan and hoped that whatever Naruto was doing would work, though new Aizen was far too powerful. Possibly even for them both to defeat. This was it. If this attack didn't work, he would drag Naruto out of the situation by force if need be. Aizen had the advantage here.

The massive ball of chakra slammed into his body, causing a massive explosion of chakra to envelop his body, consuming even some of the ground directly around him. When the smoke cleared, nothing was left where he once stood.

That was when a vice-like grip clamped onto Naruto's left shoulder and Aizen's cold voice reached his ears. "That was even more impressive, child! You will forgive me, but I had no intention of letting an attack of THAT size hit me without my shields being up, unlike your previous attacks. Better not to take chances." He walked out in front on Naruto again and readjusted his sword, then brushed some dirt off his coat.

"This will take some time to heal properly," he said, rubbing his wounds. After picking his tea back up, he turned to Naruto.

This time, Aizen's behaviour was enough to throw him. He'd taken enough of the attack to be injured, and yet he was acting as though it were something as normal as an insect bite. He and his clone stared at each other for a brief moment, before they both moved back to Arashi's side. As much as he and Kyuubi wanted to attack, he knew that, judging from the ex-captains reaction to the last attack, now was not the time. "...dad?" he muttered quietly to the other, waiting for instruction, even as he kept his eyes on the man in front of them.

Arashi tilted his head, "I imagine that was what you wanted. If he would not sit still for a check of his power, that you would gauge it while he was fighting. Congratulations, you got what you wanted. We, are leaving." He was not going to put Naruto at risk at the moment. If Aizen kept after the boy, he would see to Aizen when Naruto was not around. But this was a circumstance not to their advantage and there were enough people he could find that wanted a piece of Aizen as to even the numbers.

"Then I bid you both a fond farewell. You can mark yourselves among the few who have actually harmed me. A great honour. Oh, and Yondaime? Take good care of that son of yours."

Aizen bowed to them both and was soon gone.
