Characters; All Konoha Ninja and Haku
Summary; Wanting to do something special for his father, Naruto organises a gathering for all his ninja friends. And not even the supposed Apolcalypse is able to make him change his mind! Cue sparring, food, and randomness~

The carousel was still moving at an increasing rate. The ticking growing louder by the moment, audible even in the company of others. But even that hadn't deterred him. If the worse came to the worse, the event could be called off in favour of finding a way to reverse the effects. At least they'd all be gathered together, ready to plan their next move. But so far, none of the others had seemed all that concerned about it. Perhapss he was simply over-thinking things. Or perhaps it was due to the other citizens reactions. Regardless, he was still going to go ahead with the nights events.
It hadn't been too hard to plan out what was going to happen. Keeping it a secret from Arashi, on the other hand, was. Especially considering the newest turn on events. But now, the day had arrived, and Naruto had been out of the house as soon as he'd woken up.
...after breakfast of course.
Some of the others had arrived to help, and for that, he was glad. It was better than having to use clones of himself for those few hours. So now, an arena had been marked out, a large circle in the sand outlined by lengths of thick rope. A short space away from the edge, a number of unlit fires sat, awaiting the darkness that'd be approaching. And even further back, a series of table stood in wait of the food that was being provided. All in all, the area seemed about as ready as he was going to be able to get it. At least until the others arrived.
Dropping more blankets ontop of the pile, his gaze passed over the area, wanting to make sure everything was in place. "Perfect!" Though they would undoubtedly need to gather some more wood before it got dark. ...and cold.
"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." Creating two clones of himself, the trio nodded to each other, before the two clones headed off in opposite directions; One making his way back to the apartments to collect Arashi, and the other heading off to the forest to join the others in gathering wood.
It wouldn't be long now. He just had to hope that everything panned out.
[ooc: I was originally going to have him postpone it. But then decided against it. If he listened to what everyone else said, then he'd basically be forgetting the whole idea...or something. @___@]
