Log: Ongoing
When; January 1st
Rating; R to NC-17
Characters;
revelations9x6 Xulchilbara,
snarky_padre_v Vincent
Summary; Vincent is upset by his Lord's new romantic interests, and Xulchilbara has a pretty big revelation for him.
Log;
It had been a long night.
Long, but very productive.
The Red God, once the ceremony was completed, had retired to his inner sanctum, and sat in still silence.
Clad in nothing, the seal on his back glowing with an infernal light, and pulsing like a heartbeat, He did what could be called meditating, yet such a word's implications are far to gentle to be an accurate description.
The Executioner had been busy, and while much of the city believed the Judgements to be the random acts of insanity from a monster, the Red God knew better.
His Sentinel was opening gates, and raising power.
With each judgement, Xulchilbara was able to tap into the emotion, and sensation the made up so much of his very essence
Pain, and guilt.
The dark secrets of the psyche brought to light.
Blood, and Darkness...
These were His purview, and thier release travelled the strong connctions between the God and His avatar to refresh and rejuvinate the Him.
With every gift, however, there is a price.
The price for this form of empowerment, was an erosion of the Crimson Atrocity's control, and ability to retain his semblance of humanity.
It intoxicated, made Him power drunk,and more apt to give into the raging bloodlust that was always a throbbing need that Xulchilbara often had to work at restraining.
No sound broke his half-lidded reverie, but the sense of sound, and crawling shadows permeated the space like tangible waves of heat, and sharp sensation.
A warmth, that hovered between the line of cutting pain...
Nude, and sitting lotus-style before the raised hearth, the God waited.
He had asked Vincent to attend for days, but the priest had been less than eager to do so.
The Master, somewhat irritated with this behavior, and the niggling doubts Vincent's thoughts and writings betrayed, had finally resorted to commanding his prophet to attend.
....It was time to remind Vincent that he had bound himself to the Red God, and though his human mind may want to leave His embrace, he could not do so without Xulchilbara's express permission.
That was Vincent's choice, and the price he had paid.
