Log;

Now as he'd announced it on the network there was nothing for it but to clear some room in his thus far never used kitchen and start making pizza.

How hard could it be? After all, as someone had said in his network folder, you'd be hardput to ruin something like pizza.

He went to the front door, wedged an old magazine underneath it to prop it open in case the others came by with supplies, washed his hands, and set to work pulling on the first wad of dough.

Just move it around until it was more or less pizza-crust shaped, right? He'd seen it done dozens of times.

Joseph approached, not really trusting the neighborhood, but keeping a steady pace anyway. He had sold a few of his old collectible magazines from his collection to the owner of the convenience store for a few twenties, and in turn bought two six packs of beer that he judged to be of decent quality- imported stuff.

As he approached Mulder's room, he felt somewhat light headed. What was going on? He shook his head a bit, then continued on. Probably just some weird residual effects. Beer would help clear that up.

Knocking on the door, Joseph entered.

"Hey... Mulder? Joseph... Am I the first one?"

Dexter was making his way down the hallway just as Joseph knocked on the door.

He was carrying a large bag that held three cartons of ice cream. Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. He used to wonder which one would melt the quickest when he would bring some for his girlfriend's kids back home. He hoped there was a freezer in Mulder's apartment, or he'd be sure all three would be completely melted by the time anyone wanted some.

Dexter caught the door as it closed behind Joseph.

"Guess we're early." he said with a grin, following the other man inside.

"Well, no problems with that" Joseph said, glancing at the newcomer. Ice cream, huh? Joseph entered the apartment and placed the beer on the table.

"Hey, Mulder? That pizza?"

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
Stanley walked up to the apartment door and knocked loudly. Perhaps some pizza, and booze could be his nepenthe.

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
Stan, looked at the door and noted to himself to kick it later. Stupid door, playing tricks on him.

"Hi Mr. Mulder." Stan solemnly greeted as he viewed the scene. He saw icecream and booze, but no pizza. "Beer...beer is good."

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Joseph had made himself at home on the couch with a brew. He handed one to Stanley.

"Beer is good. You're Stanley?"

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey Mulder. I brought beer. That should bring people. Want one? They're some imported german beer from the store, kind of expensive. What pizza toppings are you making?" Joseph said, waving an amber bottle in Mulder's direction.

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:47 am (UTC)(link)
Stan took a huge gulp of the beer, and said "Yes, yes I'm Stanley."

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:53 am (UTC)(link)
Joseph put the beer on the coffeetable and held out Stanley's hand to give him a firm handshake.

"Good to finally meet you. You've been a huge help, but I'll try to not to ask too many questions, because tonight I just feel like kicking back," Joseph said, taking a sip from his bottle, taking a second to savor the flavor before he took another sip.

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:55 am (UTC)(link)
Stan returned the handshake, and then sat across from Joseph, beer in hand. "Nice to meet you too, Mr. Write." Stan smiled.

Then Stan noticed a pen and started drawing on himself. "Oh, umm...so, how's the fishing?" Stan asked.

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:00 am (UTC)(link)
Joseph put his hand on his face, and wiped down.

Fishing.

"Nonexistant, I haven't had a chance. I looked and sure enough, my tacklebox is in great shape. I must have reorganized it a dozen times when I was locked up, pretending I was about to go for a nice fishing trip, but I still haven't. I'd love to do some salmon fishing, I used to drive up to Washington once a year, or Ocean Shores in Orgeon, and just go fishing for days. And then, usually whenever I could get a chance, me and a few buddies would go fishing in Silverton lake, near South Ashfield. I went fishing in Toluca a few times, too, but the fishing was never very good." Joseph said, much more animated than he had been before. His eyes seemed to go wide at the prospect of catching a big salmon, and his grin had spread wide.

"Yeah, even though I always had a lot on my plate with journalism, it's always been work hard, play hard. I work my ass off writing, but that makes the time out on the water all the better."

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:04 am (UTC)(link)
"Sounds quite thrilling. I only went fishing once, and didn't much like it. Not my cup of tea." Stan stated calmly.

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
Joseph nodded.

"Yeah, I understand. I used to go with my dad during the summer, and ever since it's just been my favorite way to unwind. What do you generally do, aside from making art?"

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:12 am (UTC)(link)
Stan grabbed a couple of slices of the pepperoni and sausage pizza and begin to slowly eat them, savoring the flavors of them.

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:13 am (UTC)(link)
"I like writing poetry, and stories. I also like to hike in the forests." Stan mentioned

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:17 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, stories I did for a bit, but I realized my knack was journalism, which can be more fiction than not in a lot of ways. But hey, it's all about perspective, and realizing that there's no such thing as an unbiased view. As for hiking, I like hiking, but are there any good mountains in this area? I'd like to find a good fishing spot."

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
Stan swallowed the slice of pizza he was chewing, and then said, "I only arrived yesterday. I'm not entirely sure."

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:20 am (UTC)(link)
"Be right back." Stan said as he ran out of the room.

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:23 am (UTC)(link)
"Right." Joseph said, looking at Stan a bit oddly as he left.

[identity profile] 15121.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:24 am (UTC)(link)
Joseph grabbed a piece of the vegetable pizza and took a bite.

"Pretty good. It's been entirely too long since I've had pizza, and this is a good pizza." Joseph said, taking another bite and washing it down with another sip of beer.

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:25 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm back!" Stan smiled.

[identity profile] stancoleman.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 08:26 am (UTC)(link)
Stanley kept eating his pizza, "Soooo good....." he whispered.
