Log;complete?

When; Feb 18th (wrath curse day)
Rating; PG
Characters; Juno [livejournal.com profile] junoscave,Mulder [livejournal.com profile] m1jac0ge0, Hawkeye Pierce [livejournal.com profile] meatballsurge0n
Summary; Juno wants something, adventure, sex, anything to get her mind off of healing and staying in bed.But those guys keep arguing.
Log;

"Are you two going to bark all day or ..." Juno started to state, then added. "Never mind, I’m going caving." She knew this was not the brightest idea but was better then being above at the moment.
---

"I just think you should have asked me!" Mulder was snarling at the doctor, "I never even got a choice!"
"Yeah, well, it wasn't your choice to make. It's my life. I can give it away if I want to." Hawkeye had glanced over when Juno spoke. Before Mulder could say another thing he had stepped away from the argument.

"Now just hold on," he said, "you're my patient, and this is strictly against doctor's orders. You're in no shape to go back down there and get yourself burned any worse by the things that got you the first time."
---

"Not those what I’m worried about." "I think there’s a few troglodytes down there.” that sounded even worse. Just she wanted to kill something. Not sure why, just wanted to go after her fears. Pierce made more sense then her emotions did. She was not even sure what this argument was about. "Life giving, that like giving blood?"
---

"Hawkeye had a talk with one of the city 'gods'," Mulder explained, "After Walter Sullivan decapitated me I returned clinically dead- no pulse, no natural source of body heat and so on. Apparently, these are the rules of the city, unless one of these 'gods' decides to accept an exchange. Hawkeye. Exchanged his life for mine. Except he didn't ASK me if I wanted such a sacrifice made on my behalf!" This last bit yelled at the veteran again.

"You weren't there TO ask, and even if you had been, I'd have given it for someone. It could have been that shinigami woman, except the god already had taken some other bargain for her." Hawkeye snarled right back, and then to Juno, "I don't care if it's ash children or troglodytes, you shouldn't be going down there with a wounded leg. Do you know what's going to, no, I'll tell you what's going to happen. You're going to try overcompensating for a while on your good leg, and wear that out much faster. In order to rest that one you're going to try putting weight on the burned one, realize it hurts like hell, and slip and fall to your DEATH, ok? I do not have a second life to give to get YOU back, so limp your butt back into that bed. Doctor's ORDERS!"
---

Juno sat down trying to keep weight off her leg. "So the city brings back people like zombies?" She had seen enough of those movies. Walter's little 'experiment'. She still wanted to kill him for that. So much rage, and hating being bedridden.

Mulder tried smiling, but his smiles were never all that reassuring. Frankly, because he did it so infrequently, he was bad at it.
"No, it's not like that. Zombies have no will of their own, being either mindless automatons controlled entirely by their base urges, like hunger, or else in the case of the vodoun tradition, are enslaved by the bokor who resuscitated them, but in such cases it usually turns out the victim was under the influence of some sort of intoxicant or hallucinogenic, so that they believed they had died and thus felt compelled to obey whoever rescued them from their grave..."

"Ok, ok, can we skip the scary movie references here?" Hawkeye, poor thing, had been ripped from his discharge in 1953. He wouldn't have even known of 'Night of the Living Dead', as it hadn't happened yet... "You’re the romantic involvement here, why don't you concentrate on getting her back to bed?"

He may have been from a time before Mulder or Juno, but their little fling on the day of the lust curse had not passed unnoticed by him.
---

Juno remembered that, she’d been attracted to Mulder; still was. These feelings just emerged to form then. " So no brain-eating flesh-tearing undead? That’s good to know." By that logic if they did end up in the city would they still be that?
---

"Well, that depends largely on the manifestation..." Mulder began, amused by the idea, but Hawkeye glared at him again.
There'd been a LOT of fighting in the city as a result of this curse, and whereas he STILL wasn't getting as many cases as the shinigami and the other magic-wielding healers, Hawkeye WAS busy.

Mulder put his arm around Juno. "Come on. Let's let the ol' sawbones have his personal space, shall we?"
---

She gave Mulder a smile. "I'm ready for another round" She stated. This would keep her in bed. She liked Mulder a lot. The very idea was appealing and it was the wrong curse day, but hey, she was not complaining about this.

It wasn't that he wasn't interested but.... again, wrong curse day.
Right now the appeal of going back out and arguing with Hawkeye some more appealed to him more so.

"I really ought to keep him company," he suggested carefully, "he's a good man, and he seems to know what he's doing with what he has to work with but really. He's an anachronism. Everything he learned in med school is a good 5o years outdated."

She tried to wrap him with her legs. " Oh he'll understand." she gave an evil smile. She was not usually this friendly.
