Lailah walked through the firehouse quietly, thankful that she met no one on her way to Metatron's room. She was still hated by many who stayed in the firehouse so most of the time she isolated herself. The only one who could call her out was Metatron. She walked quickly to his room and opened the door quietly, in case the tiny seraphim had managed to fall asleep on his own, though she highly doubted that. In heaven, he'd always demanded she stay with him if he couldn't fall asleep, Lailah just couldn't imagine that changing about Metatron.
