Ever since he'd talked to that woman in red over the network, Jayne had been aching for activity that didn't involve working out, drinking, or target practice with empty cans. He'd selected two handguns, tucked his best knife in its sheath at his belt, and slung Vera over his shoulder before stalking off Serenity and onto the streets of the City. There was bound to be someone out there in desperate need of a whipping. Jayne would be more than happy to oblige.
