Wearing a shirt and pants to bed... that was something Kamui was going to have to get used to again, it seemed. He'd really become rather used to wearing only loose cotton pants or (when it was just him and Seishioru) just a severely oversized dress shirt. Having a full set of clothes felt almost... odd.
Not that he was going to mind too much; not if it meant Lyra would be happy and safe. She wanted to stay with him, after all, and by doing so, Kamui could keep an eye on her. Having to wear a t-shirt with his PJ-pants was a small price to pay.
"Lyra, you ready?" he asked, tugging on his t-shirt a little, as he knocked on the door of the bedroom they were occupying, not wanting to catch her in the middle of changing. THAT would be way too awkward.
