Log;

It was frustrating. All of it. She could handle being stuck in the manor for an undetermined amount of time. After all, she was able to walk around, instead of being confined to a hospital bed. However, the fact that Pyramid Head was dead - truly dead - made her angry. She wanted to get revenge, but she knew it was impossible. Her Guardian would go unavenged, and that frustrated her.

Of course, the fact that Henry did not remember a thing about their relationship or his past frustrated her beyond all reason. She felt neglected, and helpless, as far as Henry was concerned. She did not dare try to force the memories at him; to do so would be dangerous to his already fragile mental state. She needed to be patient, but her patience was wearing thin. Xulchibara's affections towards Ran did not upset her incredibly so, per se. She understood his need for balance and the fact that Ran provided him with something she could not. It was the same way with her and Henry. It was more the fact that Ran carried his child that bothered her the most. She and Henry had tried numerous times to begin a family, but they had all failed. She wanted to be a mother, but it seemed as if fate were denying it to her.

And so, her frustration had gotten the best of her. She had thrown furniture across the room, shattered vases into a million tiny pieces, and tore out the pages of books, letting out her frustration even as the library was filled with the blackness that came with her rage. Finally, her anger nearly spent, she collapsed on the crimson sofa, and buried her head in her hands, her mental chaos beginning to die down.

And, as if things couldn't get much worse along with the curse that made her want to protect Henry and Xulchibara with every breath in her body, there was also the fact that a certain womanly cycle had begun earlier in the day, which contributed to her foul attitude, as it was a reminder that she was not with child, no matter how hard she might wish it were so. I can't stand this, she thought.
