Summary; After paying a visit to the library and gathering some "important" books, Jowy makes a beeline for his room to diligently study everything he had borrowed.

Who knew there was so much reading material on the subject of sex?

Jowy certainly didn't and while he was aware of how broad the subject of sex was, he didn't think there would be whole books on one type of it. And there were all sorts of ways; he certainly had a lot to read about if he wanted to learn and implement what he'd learnt effectively. At the first few chapters he'd read, back at the library, he'd blushed furiously, and when there were vivid illustrations of two males in the act, he paled. How was he going to do this, to Kamui no less? He was fine with kissing, hugging, touching and outright groping. He'd found out, and from Kio too, that those could be immensely pleasurable but actual intercourse?

Men especially didn't have the natural passages for such an action.

He scratched his head and frowned at a rather detailed passage on the consequences of unprepared entrance. Ouch.

Jowy really would rather not hurt Kamui.

Jowy had been in his room an awful long time. All afternoon, in fact, and Kamui had no idea why. He only knew that Jowy had disappeared earlier in the day, and had ran straight back to his room upon returning, a sizable stack of books in tow. What could he... possibly be reading about? And was he trying to hide it from Kamui?

Oh well, he'd find out! "Jowy?" he asked as he entered the other's room, carrying tea and sandwiches on a tray for him. He'd missed lunch, after all. "What are you reading?"

The blond ex-king had been surprised but he was able to carefully hide that. Calmly, and slowly as to not incite suspicion in the other boy, he closed the book he was currently reading and put it down on the floor with its back upwards. He really would rather not let Kamui get a clear view of its telling title.

He craned his neck and gave Kamui a gentle smile. "...nothing important, really," he told the other.

Oh, so he was definitely trying to hide his activities. But why?

"I brought you some food. You've been locked away here for a while." The food was set down in font of Jowy, Kamui settling down right next to him. He eyed the book curiously. "Let me see?" He reached for the book, leaning over Jowy a little.

On reflex, Jowy stretched out his hand to place it on top of the book almost protectively. He cleared his throat and tried not to blush as his smile turned slightly nervous. "Kamui, thank you for the food- I'm fine though, really... I'm just reading."

He hoped Kamui did not turn his attention instead on the pile of books beside him. No amount of subtlety would let him keep Kamui from going to those.

Jowy was up to something? "Just?" He flopped across the other's lap and began trying to get the book from Jowy with enough bratty determination to make a two year old proud. Of course, then it occured to him that there were, um, other books around? Ones that Jowy couldn't hide, especially with Kamui stretched over his lap and pinning him in place.

"Hmm..." his eyes narrowed slightly as he focused on a title, "The Gay Karma Su..." Oh. OH. All these books... were about gay relationships and sex? It made sense, really, for Jowy to need help with this sort of thing: Kamui was sure the other had never been in a situation like this before. "I didn't know they made books on this stuff," he said curiously as he reached for the book he'd read the title of, still in Jowy's lap.

Jowy blushed slightly, he'd have cried out or something considering now Kamui knew what he had been reading all this time, but he realized that would do little. "I didn't know either and-" He cleared his throat. "-I didn't need all of this... I just kept finding them--" And then, he decided to take them home anyway to know what to try and what to avoid.

"It's okay," he tried to reassure, placing a sweet kiss on Jowy's knee before focusing more on the book he'd snatched. "I hope no one looked at you weird for having all these books."

And then, with a pretty red tinge to his face, he started to read a section entitled, "How to pleasure from the bottom." Maybe... maybe if he showed interest in this too, Jowy wouldn't feel so bad about reading this stuff? He hadn't meant to embarrass him, after all.

There was Riou, but he decided to keep that to himself. His (once) best friend was mostly uninterested in the fact that he was carrying books of such topics. "After all the curses? I think they've been desensitized already. Other than being slower, I didn't have a problem on the way back..."

He paused and looked away awkwardly, hands anxiously wrapping around Kamui's waist. "I hope I can be a good...boyfriend... to you, Kamui," he said quietly.

Kamui looked up at Jowy with wide, surprised eyes before his expression settled into a soft, happy one. "I'm sure you won't disappoint, Jowy." Did Kamui really deserve someone this sweet? "Besides, I don't really have anything to compare it to. All my other experiences in anything remotely like this have been..." A nervous laugh. "Sorry. I'm not very reassuring, am I?"

"Hmm... well, that means this would be... well, we'll be learning together?" Jowy supplied with a little hopeful tone. "I want to do everything I can to make you happy... You'd be the first one I'm really having a relationship with that way and I want to make sure it's alright..." He shook his head slightly and sighed. "I ramble too much... Kamui, I wanted to ask... do you want to... have sex?"

"NOW?" was the first thing Kamui spit out, not exactly prepared for such a direct question. Of course, once his brain caught up with it, he figured out Jowy had meant in general, and... Kamui turned bright red again, hiding his face. He needed to work on keeping his mouth shut. "I... I mean... if you would be comfortable enough, and when you're sure you're ready, and..."

Ugh, he was far too flustered. "I m-mean to say... only if you want to? If it would make you happy, too."

Jowy broke into sudden laughter at Kamui's reaction. "If it makes you happy... it'll make me happy too?" He admitted and it was true, if it made Kamui happy, he would be more than willing to try it. If it didn't work, it didn't work, but Jowy was not going to back down and outrightly say no. Besides, if kissing and touching was pleasant, what about the real thing? It seemed too that it was more than pleasant... from what he'd seen people say about it, that is. And write. "I've never done it though... not normally... so you'll have to put up with me."

Kamui had glared and pouted when he was laughed at, poking Jowy's side in revenge. Not that he was REALLY mad at him or anything. He... couldn't be. At least that's how he felt at the moment.

"Don't worry. I'll help you figure things out." Somehow, he felt like a slut for being the knowing one of the relationship. He was at least a little younger than Jowy, and yet... he was the one who'd had sex before. Several times, and with more than one person. "Besides... at least with you... it won't hurt..."

Hurt. Yes, he could easily associate sex with that. Fuuma and Seishirou were less than gentle (understatement, of course), and Soubi... well, Soubi had been kind to him, but everything had been so cold. No emotionally reaction from Soubi during the entire act, really. It seemed that no matter what, sex illicited either emotional or physical injury for Kamui.

"...I promise to try my best to... not hurt you, Kamui." Closing his eyes, the blond hugged Kamui close to himself. What could he say with that? He had an inkling; he thought it was highly possible that Kamui had had more experience than him, and of course, with more than just one person. He didn't want to remind Kamui about that, and though he wanted to comfort Kamui, he didn't know how to. "Maybe we should figure out who bottoms first, hmm?" he asked with a playful tone, hoping to steer Kamui's thoughts elsewhere.

Who bottoms? Kamui blinked, entirely distracted by the odd question. He'd never even considered being on top before, so to him it should have been obvious, but... "Depends on your definition of bottom?" He pointed to the page in the book, a part questioning what a bottom was.

"The one who-" He took a deep breath without realizing it. "-takesitinwhiletheydothat?"

That earned a smile from Kamui, too amused with the way Jowy spit it out like that. "Uke. The one who recieves. Seme is the one who... yeah." Yes, he was familiar with those terms, and maybe Jowy would feel better using that. It covered the 'who penetrates and who is penetrated' part well enough.

"Well, I've always been uke, so..." It would make sense for him to be as such with Jowy? Even though, all things considered, he could see himself being slightly more aggressive (not in the violent sense, of course) with Jowy. Not to the point of being seme, but... "You can be seme."

Jowy nodded slowly. "You're okay with that, right, Kamui...?" He lowered his voice as he thought back on what he had briefly read. "It hurts a bit, doesn't it?" Only when he had asked Kamui that did he realized the paradox he was in. He didn't want to hurt Kamui but... wasn't it supposed to hurt a bit?

Kamui nodded, "I'm fine with that."

And then he fidgeted a little with the next question. "It... well, not really. Not if you're careful and do things slowly." Of course, there was that slight sting at the very beginning, but he wasn't going to tell Jowy about that. He didn't want to worry him. "You can make it hurt, if you want to, but..." Shutting up now.

"I won't make it hurt." That was said confidently. He would have been content to sit there for a while in silence, holding Kamui in his arms when his stomach began grumbling. Food; he hadn't had anything to eat in a while.

"Uh... Kamui, what kind of sandwiches are those?"

"Carrot sandwiches," he said simply, trying not to let a smirk creep up on his face, even though a small one showed anyway. "Because I know how much you adore carrots."

He finally got off of Jowy, holding one of the perfectly neat triangles to Jowy's lips. "Actually, it's just roast beef, lettuce, and mayo. Try one?"

Carrot sandwiches?!

Jowy had paled visibly even when Kamui's lips curved slightly in the smallest of smirks. Just the thought of the orange vegetable sandwiched between bread and the odd mix of sweet and authentic vegetable taste was enough to make him slightly lose appetite.

When Kamui finally revealed that it was not carrot sandwich, he sighed in visible relief. "That was sneaky, Kamui--" And then he took a small bite from the sandwich triangle and grinned charmingly at Kamui.

"It's not my fault you can be easy to tease~" The grin he gave Jowy was a playfully smug little one; much like a cat who had finally caught the dangle toy and was trying to trot off with it. Still, he continued to feed Jowy, taking an odd sort of pleasure in it.

Briefly, his mind brought up the idea of feeding Jowy nyotaimori style, but he pushed that away vehemently, blushing a little. If only he hadn't looked up that term after overhearing some male classmates mention it.

And Jowy continued to eat from Kamui's hand happily, unaware of the thoughts going on in Kamui's head. "You'd make a good server, Kamui--" he commented offhandedly while he vaguely wondered if Kamui ever... played and imagine he were someone else. What was the word? Role-playing? Then again, Kamui wasn't a child anymore and most, if not everyone, grew up from such daydreaming.

Good server... that so wasn't helping him not think of the...

Ignoring it, damn it! "A-ah... thanks..." At least now he could pretend his blushing was from embarrassment caused by that compliment and not from the dirty thoughts floating around his head. He really shouldn't have looked at that book?
