When; April 25th
Rating; R due to violence
Characters; Leonidas

Summary; Tempers are short, and a battle is at hand.
Log;
The space that Leonidas had chosen for the duel was spacious enough. The ground was firm, perfect for combat. It had been an offhand decision on his part to allow Jedidiah and Octavius to come along. Octavius had absolutely insisted, and Jed had refused to be left behind. It wouldn't hurt anything, not really. Besides, it might be a good thing to have them around for this.
Leonidas eyed the other side of the clearing where his opponent was bound to emerge. He stretched his arms and legs; having done some exercises before leaving the apartment and choosing his weapons carefully, he felt nearly ready. His helmet was attached securely to his head, and the rest of his equipment was ready to go, his sword and spear both sharpened to a deadly point.
The king stretched his arms and turned to Octavius and Jed, an absolutely serious expression on his face. "Remember...in the event that I die again, you two need to take my body home with you. I refuse to let that so-called 'god' claim my body for her own. Understood?" He asked them.

Lobsel Vith could see that the man was ready for a fight, and possibly for a kill. She was prepared. If it was a fight he wanted then a fight he shall receive. She continued to walk forward. No physical weapons in her hands. The fire was her friend and servant. She would use this element.
Arriving at the clearing the Yellow God also spotted what appeared to be a Roman Soldier, and a cowboy. After a second of pondering she decided to pay them no mind. They looked like absolute shit. No doubt due to the disease plague. She lifted her head up and looked at Leonidas in the eyes. "King Leonidas, I presume?" she asked.

As he turned to stand his ground, assessing his opponent, it was not fear that gripped him. It was a heightened sense of things; of the firm ground at his feet, the still air, the birds singing in the trees, his calm breathing. The "god" had no weapons. This gave him an advantage.
He said nothing, only waited for her response.

"You wished for a challenge. Shall we get this show on the road?" she asked calmly.

His eyes narrowed, the tension building. He adjusted the grip he had on his spear, deftly raised his shield, and charged. Using the strength that came with a lifetime of experience and years of conditioning, he drew his throwing arm back and threw the spear straight at the "god", its aim true, his form perfect. Leonidas did not pause in his charge; he unsheathed his sword and kept coming.

When Leonidas proceeded to charge at her with his sword she did not hesitate. Focusing briefly she pulled from the depths of her being a great flame that was shaped like a sword. She held it at the ready, waiting for Leonidas' next attack.
