Log;
That scent. The one that had humiliated him years ago. He was sure of it.
Brocken Jr.
But it wasn't the same. ..Changed? No matter though. It was still the scent of that damned Nazi.
Mr. Khamen watched as his victim walked down the street. He looked.. different. It wasn't Brocken. Much too young. The Egyptian tilted his head to the side, thinking. How could he be wrong? The scent was so obvious. Perhaps.. it wasn't Brocken after all. But that boy was still part of the Brocken family.
Lucky. He smirked, licking his fangs. This is even better than I expected. I will carry out my revenge through him.
Khamen waited for the right moment, then dropped in front of poor, unsuspecting Jeager. The German stopped in his tracks, eyeing the stranger's outfit. He looks like a Chojin.. I've never seen him before though.
"You, boy. Who are you?"
"Jeager."
"Are you a relative of Brocken?" The snake Chojin hissed.
"Ja.. vhy?"
"That's all I need to know. Maki~maki!" Khamen's eyes flashed, the glow hypnotizing Jeager. He pulled off his linen wrap and threw it at him. The blonde dropped his groceries bags and tried to move, but was unsuccessful. The linen cloth wrapped and constricted itself around his body, like a mummy. Jeager collapsed, unable to move at all, but his mind continued to race. What was happening? What was going to happen to him? Would anyone save him?
Mr. Khamen hurried off to the abandoned warehouse and set Jeager down onto a table. The German was frightened. What was this strange Chojin going to do to him? He tried squirming around, but was only able to force out a quiet moan. Khamen hissed excitedly, stroking down the cloth, "Yesss.. I can hear it. Your heart beating so quickly.. You're scared, aren't you? Mmm.. I've been waiting nearly 30 years to get my revenge.. and tonight I dine on the delicious waters of your body."
There was a rustling noise, as if Khamen was getting something. Jeager felt his body tense up. What did he mean by 'delicious waters'?
Oh God. What if he rapes me? Please.. someone save me!
It wasn't long before the Egyptian Chojin was feeling around the cloth, groping and poking certain spots. Jeager whimpered softly, his eyes clenched shut, wishing this would already end.
"Mmm.. Your sweet, delicate voice arouses me. But don't you worry.. This will all be over with soon. And I'll finally have my revenge on your father. If it wasn't for that cursed Mongolman, I would have killed him!" Khamen hissed, feeling around Jeager's stomach. "Ah, this is the perfect spot.."
His stomach?.. But what was he going to do?-
Jeager's question was answered almost instantly as a sharp pain traveled up his body. Khamen had just stabbed him deep in the stomach. He cried out in pain, becoming lightheaded as the Akuma Chojin began to suck the moisture out of him.
Jeager clenched his eyes shut, feeling on the verge of passing out. Was this it? Was he going to die here? Even before Shogun got a chance to come back..
Shogun, please help me!
"Khamen-kun." came a low voice from near them, although the person with that voice was nowhere to be seen. "As enjoyable as it this is to you, I suggest you cease what you are doing until you fully understand the magnitude of the situation you are in."
"Eh?!" Khamen let go of the straw and turned around, looking for the source of the voice. It sounded familiar.. "Who's there?"
Stepping into the light, his arms crossed, eyes glowing softly, Shogun chuckled softly, "Its been a while, hasn't it Khamen-kun?"
The Egyptian quickly knelt down infront of the akuma Chojin, "Shogun-sama!.. I thought I had felt your presense.. but I wasn't sure. "
Jeager became more conscious again when Khamen mentioned Shogun's name. Shogun was back?! He struggled in his bindings and winced, the straw still stabbed into his stomach.
Shogun chuckled, "Daijobu Khamen. The senses of those who are dead are dulled in this place, you weren't too know." he stepped towards the package on the table and swiftly pulled the straw out, not saving Jeager any pain in doing so.
Jeager grunted, the rather large wound throbbing now.
Khamen looked up at his master, "I have noticed. " He was slightly disappointed that he didn't get much moisture out of his poor victim, "If I may speak out of line.. why did you tell me to stop?"
".." Shogun looked down at the package, his eyes glowing softly. "I won't lie to you Khamen, I was returning a favour that was long overdue." he threw Khamen's straw back to him. "But it won't happen again." he turned to Khamen, chuckling, "Next time you meet, he's all yours."
Khamen hissed excitedly, tucking away the straw, "Thank you, Shogun-sama.."
Jeager felt his heart break. Shogun.. was kidding, right? Just putting up a show for this Khamen guy.. He squirmed again, trying to break out of the linen cloth.
"..." Shogun looked down at the squirming Jeager. For a fleeting second he thought he felt something deep inside, but it was gone as quickly as it came. He scoffed, turning away, "Ikuzo, Khamen-kun."
Khamen walked over to Jeager and pulled him free, wrapping the cloth around his waist. "Go, but next time we run into each other, be prepared."
The blonde slowly sat up, looking at Shogun. He couldn't be serious.. everything that they had gone through together was just a lie?.. He placed his hand over his injury, wincing slightly as he spoke, "H-Herr Shogun.."
Shogun just laughed, looking back at Jeager, his eyes glowing brightly. "I suppose I do owe you an explanation then.. very well, ask whatever you want boy."
Boy?.. "You.. you said you loved me! Before you left.."
Khamen walked over to Shogun's side and stood there quietly, glancing from his master to this young Chojin.
Shogun made a tutting noise, "I only told you what you wanted to hear, shounen." he smirked, "I've told you many times.. I'm evil, I don't love. Even if I could, it certainly wouldn't be for a.." he chuckled, "baka Seigi Choujin."
"Such a bastard." Khamen hissed, grinning.
Jeager grabbed his head, shaking, "Nein! You're lying! I know you are!! You loved me! We vere happy together!"
Glancing towards Khamen, Shogun chuckled at his fellow Akuma Choujin's statement before turning back to Jeager. "I've been using you all this time, shounen. As strong as I am, I'm not foolish enough to go up against a bunch of Seigis by myself. Not without one of my boys at least~"
His eyes glowed menacingly as he looked at the shaking Jeager, "Now that I have Khamen-kun here, I don't need to keep up this charade anymore. About time too, your clingyness was really starting to annoy me."
There wasn't much more Jeager could take. First the Dracula attack, Shogun dying, and now this.. Tears rolled down his cheeks. His happy little world was ending.. just like it always did, "You're lying.."
Shogun released one of his arm blades and gently lifted up Jeager's chin with its end, "Iie. Telling you I loved you? That was a lie." he stabbed the tip of the blade into Jeager's wound, not enough to mortally wound him, he had given that honour to Khamen after all, but just enough to to give him excruciating pain. Shogun laughed.
Jeager cried out in pain, the world felt like it was spinning. Why couldn't he ever stay happy?
He swallowed, closing his eyes but the tears continued to come, "I vish I had sacrificed myself then.. so I vouldn't have to feel this pain.."
".." Shogun looked down at Jeager. Again he felt a slight pain, but he ignored it, scoffing and turning away from Jeager to leave the building, "Let's go Khamen-kun."
Khamen grunted in response, glancing at Jeager one last time as he followed after Shogun. He wasn't sure exactly what happened between them.. but this boy sounded like a threat. Not to himself, but rather his master. Seigi Chojin had a habit of rubbing their friendship power onto the Evil Chojins. He didn't want that happening. If the boy tried anything, Khamen would kill him.
There was a sound of running that was getting louder and louder. Shogun looked down the alleyway as they left just as the boy appeared at the other end. Shiva blinked, then a wide smile cracked out on his face. Shiva hadn't smiled since Shogun had died. "You're back!" Shogun was silent. Oh yes. Shiva. He had almost almost forgotten about him.
Khamen raised an eyebrow at the little boy, ".. Shogun-sama, who is he? He looks like Ashura-san."
Jeager heard Shiva's muffled voice and hobbled outside, clutching his wound again, "Shiva, don't talk to him. Ve're going home."
"Many years have passed in our world Khamen, this is Ashura's son, Shiva." The boy looked over at Jeager, his eyes widening. Blood.. "W-what happened to you Jeager?!" he stepped back towards Jeager, but Shogun held him back his hand tightening around two of Shiva's arms. Shiva winced, looking up at Shogun, "What are you doing?"
"Zhat man Shogun's vith attacked me." Jeager glared at the two Akuma Chojin.
"What a darling." Khamen grinned, examining Shiva, "Is he one of us?"
Shiva looked up at Khamen, "Why did you do that to Jeager?!" he leaned over and kicked Khamen particuarly hard in the shin. Shogun's hands tightened, his claws slightly piercing Shiva's skin. Shiva bit his lip at the pain, not crying out.
"I wouldn't do that again if I were you Shiva." Shogun said calmly, "You might lose one of your precious arms next time."
He pierced Shiva's arm just enough to draw blood before letting him go. Shiva ran to Jeager, looking at Shogun, a look of genuine fright on his face. This wasn't Shogun.. this couldn't be the Shogun he had been living with the last few weeks..
Shogun glanced at Khamen, Shiva still didn't know of what he would do in the future, and all those events had to go exactly the way they were meant to be, "I'll explain everything later Khamen-kun."
"Alright." Khamen nodded.
Jeager picked up Shiva, still glaring daggers at the two. It was hard acting strong. He wanted to break down and cry again. Beg Shogun to take him back.. but he knew that wouldn't work. He could only hope he could reawaken those kind emotions inside Shogun again. "Let's go home, Shiva."
Shiva clung to Jeager, blood trickling down one of his arms, which he covered over with another. He was so frightened, and confused.. and the smell of blood was also having a different effect deep inside.. he tried to ignore it, looking away from the man who for the last few weeks, had acted almost like a father to him..
Shogun watched them leave. His mind jolted slightly. That was the closest thing to a family he had. And he was throwing it away for a role he was more comfortable with, for a role that didn't keep him up most nights, looking down at those two and feeling.. happy for once. He laughed, pushing those rampant feelings down.
Anger. Hatred. Those were all he needed. He started heading in the opposite direction. "Ikuzo Khamen. I need to explain this city and everything to you.."
