Log;

For the time being, Famine was quite happy to wait beside the carousel and watch the passersby. He made note of who could do with fewer pounds, who could do with a few more (there were ways to keep people fat without giving their bodies a thing to live off of), and who would surely be a wonderful replacement for the next top model to succumb to his special dieting program. He was looking forward to seeing his comrades again, though he did regret that Lord Death would not be with them. Ah, well. He could always be felt in the work ... or perhaps not, if what White and Red had told him about the dead coming back held true for the entire city.

The City was quiet after the last (and not nearly as dangerous) curse. War liked to give touch of red and the soothing noise of the gun stutter when she walked by a quiet street, it brought her amusement and surely Chalky appreciated the smoke released from the pistols.

When the crowd cleared, the redhead looked up and spotted the slim Horsemen dressed in black.

"Hullo," she greeted, smiling and waving when she approached. "We didn't keep you waiting, did we?"

White had, in fact, been enjoying the smoke very much--had breathed it in like pure oxygen, had absorbed it gleefully into his pores. It had swirled like dark oil slicks over his skin before disappearing utterly, leaving him as pure and pristine as always. .. No matter how hard he tried, he could never keep a colour for long.

He was splashing in small, mostly-dried puddles (more mud, now, really) as they walked, turning the water black and sludge-like---but when he saw Famine, all that was utterly forgotten. For a moment, the other Horseman was the only thing in the entire universe that existed.

"Famine!" he exclaimed happily, voice high and breathy and childish, and he stumbled into a run, nearly falling over himself in his effort to get to the dark-haired creature seated near the Carousel. "Famine! I've m-missed you!" He threw his arms around Sable in a thrilled hug, leaving dust and slight acid burns on Famine's (no doubt) priceless suit. "I'm g-glad you're back!"

War laughed at White's enthusiasm to see Famine. She stayed behind, shooting glances to anyone who looked curious about their meeting. "I've been giving toys to some people, but He wants to moderate me beyond the City limitations," she explained with a frown. It was unusual she had other expression but her sharp smiles.

"Thinking in moving your diet empire here already?" asked Red. "How capitalist of you."
