When: June 11, afternoon
Rating: Everyone
Characters: Mochizuki Jirou [[livejournal.com profile] erodedtime]
Summary: Did I mention in the [livejournal.com profile] poly_extra introduction that Jirou's having a really bad day? I did? Here's why. Journal post to follow.
Log:

"Nn. Mimiko ... close the blinds." Jirou wanted to sleep. Badly. Mimiko had made him work all of the previous afternoon and night and on into morning. He was tired. He deserved a chance to rest in the nice, soothing atmosphere of a dark room. If she thought she could get him up now by letting the sun in, she was sorely mistaken.

Jirou rolled over, drawing his arm over his face to block out the brightness.

A splash and the unpleasant burning sensation of water washing over him woke the vampire much faster than any nagging Mimiko or excited Kotarou were capable of. He scrambled to his feet with a yelp, smoke rising from his body as he hurried to get out of the fountain he had somehow fallen into. There had not been a fountain there when he'd gone to sleep!

"What in ... "

Nothing looked familiar. He was in the middle of a strange city, with a strange fountain at his back, and water dripping from his clothes as he stood in broad daylight. Mimiko and Kotarou were distressingly absent. As worried as Mimiko's absence made him, Kotarou's was by far the most disturbing. It was Jirou's duty to protect him, even as the fate of their bloodline continued to leech his strength away so the Sage could live. Kotarou needed him. Mimiko, as brazen as she was, couldn't look after the boy alone.

It wasn't dignified for the Silver Blade to panic, but he did anyway. Stoically.

[OOC: Feel free to say your characters noticed a sopping wet fellow in a long red coat, big goggles and even bigger hat wandering around as though he were searching for something this afternoon. Plumes of steam/smoke would have been rising from him while he was at it.]
