Raphael, of course, was in, as usual, creaking open the bedroom door to step into the living room. He stopped when he saw Michael there, swallowing. They hadn't spoken in over a week, not since he'd gotten it in his head that he was still an aide, and that Rosiel was still ruling heaven. He ought to have gotten everything straightened out before now, but it looked like Michael had taken the initiative.
