It was still warm when Dark walked out onto the rooftop of his apartment building. The day had been a scorcher; he had dropped a few eggs on the pavement to watch them sizzle and brown. But now it felt much better without the sun overhead.
He shifted the bag upon his back, making sure everything was secure and looked up at the sky. It was a clear night with just a little bit of moon. No wind, not yet at least.
His wings began to materialize behind him and Dark stretched them out before running off the rooftop and gliding through the air, heading towards another apartment rooftop and a waiting shinigami.
