Log; ongoing
When: Early Saturday Morning.
Rating: PG-13 for likely blood drinking.
Characters: Rachel Berrisford (
involved), Yu~ki (
earlofdracula).
Summary: Yu~ki requested assistance and Rachel offered it.
Notes:I think there was a little misunderstanding~? So I'm sorry for the delay. ♥
Log: Yu~ki hadn't expected such a swift reply. But he wasn't complaining in the least - rather, the elder vampire paced the floor of his apartment as he awaited Rachel's arrival. He wasn't impatient as such, no - his mind wasn't, at least. Now informed that he would be receiving a meal, his body desired it all the more keenly. He was tired, hungry - he had rested much since Közi had been allowed so much of his blood, but not fed - he had a suspicion he was more out of it than he thought, but pushed it aside in favor of simply concentrating on keeping his barriers up while making allowances for those he had promised them to.
As it was, he was slightly worried about his ability to stop when commanded - which is why he had offered her the presence of others. Normally he would not bother with such things - however, he had no intention of causing another uproar so soon, and as such had deemed it best to go about it in this way rather than the alternative.
He finally simply dropped to a chair - deeming it better than wearing out his floors further.

So, it was with that thought kept in mind that she followed his directions and eventually ended up just outside of his apartment. Oh, she had tried to knock once or twice already, but found herself falling short. Her nerves had her lightly chewing at her lower lip before she took a deep breath and finally knocked on the door.
"Yu~ki? It's Rachel."

"It is a pleasure to finally meet you face to face, miss Rachel."
A modicum of that charisma was still in place - but he was hardly laying it on thick; rather it was simply what came naturally. He gently ushered her inside - shutting the door quietly. "Please forgive me, there are not many I trust in this city with an open door."
[ooc: omg, that sucks~ It's totally okay haha, I know how that goes!]

"It's a pleasure to meet you, too." Rachel began, but cut herself off with a small bit of laughter. "You can just call me Rachel, you don't have to be so formal."
Telling Alec about the charming vampire who was about to take her blood? Definitely not an option.

His fingers idly brushed some of his hair back as he thought of how best to approach the subject. "Ah, miss Rachel..." The 'miss' had slipped in again without his noticing - "As I stated earlier, we are going to do this by your terms... Though if you have any questions, I will certainly answer them."
[ooc: I was too. ;o;]

"Where do you need to bit--" She stopped and then smiled almost as if she were embarrassed. Vampires weren't even real where she came from, after all. "I've only read books," she began, tilting her head a bit so she could swish her hair away before she pointed to her exposed neck. "Here?"
Really, this was so strange.

"You will need to rest a while once I am finished..." A slight pause. "I can hardly send you away while you are still affected." He had no intention of taking enough to put her out of commission, of course - but even a small amount would be enough to make her dizzy for a short while, likely.
[ooc: Exactly~]

"How long?" Well, of course it would have to be awhile, she was getting her blood taken, after all. She'd always felt a bit lightheaded after her clinic visits before, but she imagined this would be a lot different. "I.. didn't tell Alec I was leaving, he was sleeping.."
Then, she laughed a bit.
"Here I am asking all these silly questions, when I should be giving you my blood. The sooner you get it, the sooner you'll feel better, right?" So, with that said, Rachel took a deep breath and closed the distance between them.

He was surprised when she stepped forward of her own accord - it had been so long since he'd had a willing donor that he'd nearly forgotten what it was like. He peered at her a moment and nodded once more; arms wrapping around her form somewhat loosely as fingers brushed her hair from her neck.
"I am in your debt, miss Rachel..."
He lowered somewhat then - lips curling back almost tentatively as he set teeth to skin. It was simple enough to make it painless - she would likely simply feel the pressure as he swiftly - though carefully - allowed canines to puncture flesh; and the slight tugging as he drank.
A soft sound was pulled from his throat, and his grip tightened somewhat - though certainly not enough to hurt. Even now, he was careful.

Again with the miss, she might have reprimanded him if the circumstances were different. But, for right now, she closed her eyes and let him continue. He had promised not to hurt her, after all, so there was no reason to worry.
The sound pulled her from her thoughts, but it didn't startle her much, even if she did try to glance over at him to see if something was wrong.

In one fluid movement he urged her to sit in the chair he had only recently vacated; keeping a close eye on her.
He did however, make sure his face was clean of blood with a handkerchief before he spoke quietly. "How are you feeling?"
no subject
"But I'm a little lightheaded, can I sit here for a little while?"
Without waiting for his answer, she proceeded to make herself comfortable, centering most of her attention on him. He was keeping watch, it seemed. Looking for-- of course, to make sure she was okay, because he had promised. He really was a nice guy.

Pity.
His lips curved into a somewhat melancholy smile, and he nodded. "Of course you may." He continued to stand by; though once he was sure she wasn't about to pass out or similar, he glanced off slightly.
"Shall I get you something?" His gaze returned to hers - the same smile was still there, but it had lost its edge of sadness.

Only to wobble a bit and sink right back down into the seat.
".. maybe a little dizzy still," she murmured, curling up in the chair a little so she could rest her head against the arm. "Mm, I don't need anything, but thank you, Yu~ki."

The corners of orange eyes crinkled slightly as he let out a soft laugh - the first true mirth he'd outwardly shown. "If you are quite sure." He drew another chair near and sat in it; though he hardly relaxed.
There was a silence before he spoke again; voice soft. "I meant what I said earlier about being in your debt. If you ever require assistance..."
