Detaching himself from the med-nin, Naruto grinned happily. As long as Sasuke was happy to join them, then Naruto wouldn't have a problem with all three of them exploring together. Afterall, it'd been nearly three years now since the three of them had been able to just spend time together. Well, nearly four for him now. Once they'd shown Sakura round, they could find Kakashi-sensei, and it would be almost like old times. Already, Naruto had been able to ignore the difference between his and Sasuke's ages. Most of the time. So in time, hopefully the others could follow suit and everything could be...normal.

"He's coming here, right?"

Looking away from the sun, Sakura nodded. "Yeah, I told him to find us, that we'd be in the City, since I didn't know exactly where we were. But I'm sure he can track us down."

It was exciting, the thoughts of a Team 7 reunion. Even if Sasuke was younger, it was still better than nothing. Deffinitely better than the last she'd seen of him.

After talking to Sakura, Sasuke headed into the city to find Naruto and her since he told her he'd meet up with them to show her around.

It had been a while since he'd seen Sakura or that the three of them were together, so he decided to come along too. The difference in age was suddenly started to bother him again for reasons even he didn't understand, but hopefully once he met up with them that would pass.

He turned the corner, which is when he saw the two of them standing a few feet away from him.

"Ah, there," she perked up, chakra flow suddenly very familiar, in a reminiscent way.

She turned around. And there he was. A her stomach dropped, her throat was dry, and it was just like the last time she'd seen him, or sort of seen him. She was going to be that same, she had this feeling. She was just going to greet him with that startled uttering of a name. His name. And he'd be pulling out a sword to--no. Different Sasuke. Focus. Think about that. Say something

So she did. She said the first thing that came to mind, looking down--down?--at him and pointing a finger. "Y-you're so short!"

[[Should we set the order or something? Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto? So on? Hmm? Go Li!]]

Sasuke looked towards Sakura, surprised at the words that came out of her mouth. Of all the things he expected, that wasn't one of then.

"Yeah, I noticed" Sasuke just rolled his eyes "That sounds like something Naruto would say..."

She took a step till she was almost in front of him, and paused again. "Holy cow, I can't believe I'm taller than you!" she said, grinning something wickedly.

Then she shook her head, innerly rolling her eyes. Great way to start a reunion, you idiot. Rubbing the back of her neck, she continued. "I'm sorry, it was the first thing I thought of..."

"Hey! What's that meant to mean?" Despite his apparent indignation at the comment, Naruto couldn't help but grin in response. He'd said the very same thing both times he'd first seen Sasuke. It was a normal reaction, given the fact Sasuke had grown since then.

Following after Sakura, Naruto kept a little to the side, wanting to give the pair a chance to at least say their hellos to each other without him butting in too much. The grumbling of his stomach however, seemed to disagree with his idea. Scratching his head nervously, Naruto laughed. "Um...can we go get something to eat now?" A morning of training had more than taken its toll on him.

"Yeah, well I am younger..." Sasuke shrugged it off, "..it's alright"

She let out a tiny smile. "You've said that, yeah." I will not poke his forehead. I will resist to poke his--okay, maybe later I will.

Naruto's stomach interrupted her train of thought, and Sakura let out another smile. "We should probably eat." Her own stomach was going to start growling too, for sure.

"Idiot. Shouldn't that be obvious?" Sasuke smirked as he glanced towards Naruto as he spoke, in which he heard the others stomach growl soon after "..Eat? Yeah, we probably should eat something something"

"What do you want to eat?" she asked, walking next to them. This was familiar territory. Just like the old times.

Speaking of old times..."Something not ramen, please."

"But at least it wasn't the first thing I ever said to you!" He turned quiet for a moment, thinking to himself. If all of them were hungry, then they needed to go somewhere where they could all get something they liked. And from the sound of it, a ramen bar wouldn't cut it.

"There's a restaurant that dad took us to a few times before. They serve loads of different things there, so you don't hafta pick ramen, if you don't want it."

"Hn. Yeah, that's true, but you still said it, more than once too..." Sasuke shook his head lightly, "Ah. Going to that restaurant sounds fine to me"

"I guess it's settled that no-one should mention Sasuke-kun's height anymore, ne?" she questioned with a teasing smile playing on her face. Rubbing her stomach, she asked "But sooner okay? The sooner I eat, the better...I still have sand in my mouth."

It was almost like nothing had changed. Or, well, she had changed, and Naruto had changed, but Sasuke hadn't changed, not much anyway. And in retrospect, it was his change what had changed the team. Team 7. I wonder... She looked over her shoulder, down at their shadows, smiling slightly. Yeah. It's back...

"I'm just glad I'm not the shortest anymore." Okay, so maybe he'd probably end up with a few bruises if he carried on, but right then, it didn't matter. Things felt just like they'd once been, and it was all to easy to slip back into old habits.

Folding his arms behind his head, Naruto ambled alongside the pair, his gaze flicking sideways briefly to the cub that'd finally decided to risk venturing closer. Aparently she wasn't so worried about the new arrival anymore. "You've gotta meet dad later too. And Kakashi-sensei."

"You're only a centimetre or so shorter than me, and I plan to keep on growing. If I grow taller than you both, I'm going to laugh so much..." It was all Naruto's fault they weren't stopping. Pfft. Well, if Sasuke got mad over this, she would...okay, so she would care, but still. A bit of teasing was allowed, for all those years of 'hnn' she'd gotten.

"It's a relief Kakashi-sensei's here. That means someone has taken care of you while I wasn't here," she said, poking them both on the shoulder. The idea of meeting the Yondaime was still freaking...unphantomable, but that'd come too. "Why is there a kitsune following us?"

"That was a long time ago though. And I've not stopped growing yet either!" Or at least, he hoped not. Though it wasn't as though his current height was much of an issue when it came to fighting. "What do you mean, take care of m- us?! We can do perfectly fine on our own, yanno!" Even though he was pretty sure that stood more for Sasuke than it did him.

Looking back over to Sakura, he grinned. "She likes you." Enough to come closer. Or maybe it was more down to the fact it was lunchtime.

"Oh, sure, once you've stopped fighting for a few minutes, you're both rays of sunshine. Admit it, the both of you." The dynamics of the team had been: The boys fought, Sakura screamed at them to stop, and Kakashi was left to physically stop them. Now that she was stronger, of course, she could stop them herself. Hopefully, she wouldn't have to.

"She? Is yours?" she asked, pointing back towards the animal.

"Hn. Yeah, right. Like I need to be taken care of" Sasuke said impassively as he just continued walking forward as if he didn't really care about the fact they were talking about the height difference before or even admit to what Sakura said after that, since he rarely even arguing Naruto lately anyhow.

"Yeah, she's his" he said, glancing towards where Sakura was pointing.

Looking over toward Sasuke, Naruto grinned. Both of them had been taking care of themselves for longer than he could remember. Admitedly, Sasuke had been a little better at that than he had. Either that, or he knew how to hide it better. "What fighting?" A confused look was directed at Sakura. Other than the few curse related fights, the two of them hadn't really gotten into many arguements, yet alone fights. Though he had a good idea why.

Change of subject!

"She kinda followed me back one day. So now I'm keeping an eye out for her." With a fair bit of help, of course.

Obviously, things had changed between the two. It made her feel a bit more than left out. Like they were progressing, but she was still watching their backs. It was better to just...let that subject drop and save herself a bit of the pain.

"Does she have a name?" she asked. It better not be Sakura or something, or she'd hit them both.

Oblivious to Sakura's current train of thought, Naruto simply moved on with the conversation. "No, not yet. It's hard trying to come up with one for her." Though he'd definately been trying. "She's just Cub for now."

A twist in the path, and Naruto pointed ahead. "It's just over there."The resaurant stood a short distance in front of them, already fairly busy with customers.

Seeing Naruto point out the restuarant which just a few feet in front of them, he continued walking along with them towards it, while Naruto and Sakura talked.
