Characters; Ayumu Yamazaki [livejournal.com profile] chainsthatbind and Hajime Saitou [livejournal.com profile] ofmibu
Summary; Ayumu goes to escort her former employer back to the temple.
Log; Ayumu had left the temple in good time, after changing from a simple yukata to one of her kimono's. She was going to find Saitou, another of her employers from the shisengumi, the other being Souji. He had seemed different, the information she gleaned showed that he seemed different. But she was sure she'd find out more once she got the the fountain.

She arrived in the fountain square and looked around for the the mibu wolf. She rested her hands on her hips and kept looking, trying to spot him amongst the other people in the square.

"He said he'd be here, no where is he?"

Saitou had wanted to explore the city after he arrived, possibly to gather more information about it as well as find familiar faces. Most of the time, familiar faces were not hard to find for Saitou, but it was certainly surprising to be finding people from the past. He was glad to know that Souji already told Ayumu of her death, but he was still worried about how he could explain Souji's.

Of course, silence was also an option. After rehearsing several topics of conversations in his mind, Saitou had decided that silence and answering only when asked would be best.

Spotting the woman, he walked over to her, catching a snippet of her words, "I'm here..."

He noticed that she looked him over for a moment, but made no comment about it. It seemed forever ago that he was with the Shinsengumi, he must have changed a lot.

"Good to see you too," he replied. A little awkwardly, he put his hands in his pockets. "And Souji-san..." he trailed off, "he is at the temple?"
