Looking about the roof, Orihime was very pleased with herself. The decorations, and everything else had come together nicely. The small lights strung around the roof, and on various surfaces gave the area a very colorful glow; inviting, and festive. The tables had been spread with many different types of food, much of which the girl had cooked herself, making it much more interesting fare.

standing back, and looking on it all, she beamed. Tatsuki would enjoy this.
And she knew she'd enjoy the present she got her as well. The only thing now was to wait for people to arrive, and for everything to begin.

With a quick flicker of shunpo and a rustle of dark blue skirts, Rukia stepped down from the edge of the rooftop, covered dish in her hand. She hadn't really known what to bring with her -- as long as it wasn't her cooking, no one would likely care -- but she'd wanted to try and select something that she thought everyone would enjoy.

Fruit salad worked quite well. Simple, easy, and she got to eat the extra strawberries and cherries when she was making it. And it was actually something that she made that she couldn't screw up. Walking up behind the walnut-haired girl, she cleared her throat softly to announce her presence without startling her friend.
