Log: OnGoing
When; July 28th
Rating; PG (though tempted to say PG-13 for Jeane's outfit alone)
Characters; Jeane
chiketsustar, Light
onetruejustice, & Isaak
ordenmagier
Summary; Jeane, since being asked so nicely, has agreed to give a small demonstration of her runes and just what they can do.
Log;
The only thing that signaled her presence was the faintest sound of cloth and a very light clicking of heels that perhaps the sharpest of human ears would be able to catch. There were ears that heard differently, and even eyes that could see differently, but for the little feat that she was to carry out now, such eyes and ears would not be needed. Simple, normal human ones would do perfectly well enough.
Casually holding her staff lightly with one hand, Jeane's hips sashayed with each elegant step as she walked into the clearing, and the fabric that hung precariously from slim belts and straps that hung low on generous hips also moved with each step, but never enough to become totally immodest.
The Mistress of the Runes had, of course, aptly prepared herself for the demonstration she had agreed to give. Though her hands were gloved and her forehead seemed bare, each and all had the runes attached to them. She also, had a few more hidden away for later. Where, was as much a secret as the lady's age.

Yagami Light was one who desired power above all things, and it would be foolish not to at least see what she was all about, and if she was willing and able to help him. He knew she had a price; they all did, all that was important was if it was adequate in return for the help that she could give him.
Stepping through the clearing, Light paused for a moment, taking in the vision that was before him. The dress was scant enough to be immodest, but the air that the lady exuded prevented it from being outright trashy. In fact, it accentuated the elegance that she exuded with every step.
Out of manners, Light bowed slightly. "Good evening, Rune Mistress." Her name was Jeanne; he'd learned it through the comments that she had responded to, but he decided that it would be smarter to call her by her title.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted the Panzermagier, who had just entered the clearing, a lit cigarillo between thin lips. A quirk of an eyebrow was Light's only concession to being surprised. He had not seen the man around ever since he'd met him face to face at the RCO meeting.
Isaak, on the other hand, gave Light a cursory, polite nod, and bowed slightly to Jeanne. "Ah, my Lady. It's indeed a pleasure to finally meet you in person."

Giving each person a faint, mature, little smile that seemed motherly and playful, but with the knowledge that there was so much more behind the simple act of her smiling, Jeane raised a hand towards her mouth, the barest brush of the tips of her fingers against her cheek, and giggled. The hand that was now singularly holding the staff seemed as steady and comfortable holding it as she had been using two hands to hold it.
"Good evening and it's an honor to meet you both," Jeane greeted. Her tone was not informal, but it wasn't that her tone was formal. It was, however, pleasant to hear in its musical quality. "I hope that the time and the trip was pleasurable for you."

"The honor is all mine, my Lady." His voice was smooth, even, and betraying none of his inward curiosity. He had time, after all.
Light, for one, was rather intrigued by the beautiful Rune Mistress' girlish personality, and briefly wondered if there was a lot more to her than she'd let on. There were subtle hints that that was the case, but seeing for himself would confirm his suspicions a lot more.
"The pleasure's mine," Light responded, noting her mellifluous voice and responding with a soft smile. He felt distinctly out of place, young, somehow, in the presence of both the Panzermagier and the Rune Mistress, and that feeling unsettled him, just a little, before he pushed it away. Now was not the time for such annoying little feelings; he had more important things to focus on.

"Well then," Jeane tittered lightly, dropping her hand to rest it on the head of the staff that she'd brought forwards. "It would seem that the fun to be played is over with and that business is at hand."
Cooing lightly, before turning to each man personally and meeting their eyes directly, Jeane smiled again, the very image of a playful girl and an alluring mistress now. Or rather, replanted the image of her smile in their minds, for she had never stopped smiling in actuality. "Perhaps standing behind me would be in your best interest darlings. The runes do so like to pl~ay. Tee hee~♥"

Glancing over at the staff, he nodded, absently noting that she had quite a becoming smile. With the barest hint of a nod, Light smiled in return and headed over to step behind her, out of the way of her demonstration. Runes, hm? The Death Note was one thing, but runes...would it come in useful for him?
~
Exhaling lazily, Isaak merely nodded even as he followed her directions. curious as to what she was able to do, and if there was any way that it could be recreated. The Rune Mistress spoke as if she was older than she really seemed, and if that were the case, Isaak wasn't surprised.
The Magician moved behind her, his gaze flickering over the staff she had in her hand.

If the motion of raising her staff had any meaning, Jeane wasn't one to tell. If the staff itself had any purpose in Jeane's casting of the magics that the runes provided her with, that was all left up to speculation. When it was her hand that glowed and chimed with the musical sound that belonged to each rune and each individual rune alone, Jeane still said nothing.
Words weren't needed anyway. The display of power and the demonstration that Jeane would provide them with would be more than speak for her.
There was a flash of green that glowed and became a symbol in the air for a moment. Then the wind began to pick up and swirl around the three figures standing in the area for a moment, before rushing past. Colored with swirls of green light and magic, the wind danced and then centered. In the mere blink of an eye, the wind had turned from a strong breeze to a cyclone that only grew in strength as it traveled down the path before them.
It was when Jeane brought her hand back down and set her staff to touch the earth once more, that the cyclone lost its power and became nothing more than the innocent and refreshing air around them. Though the wind had gone, the damage remained.
[ooc: Sooooo sorry this took forever. ;-; I completely forgot about it until now. :x And yeah... think a mini-tornado damage in front of them.]
