Death is like quiet. You fall, and then you don’t wake up. The final moments are painful, but dull, because they’re cut off so quickly.
Gil didn’t wanna do it again, really.
He got out of Isane’s quickly, quickly as he could. It’s not like he wasn’t grateful, but it was a slight affront to his personal pride, and...
He was putting her in danger just by being there.
He stumbled down into Xanadu, sick and confused, not wanting to die again.
