Summary: Kuronoe, being Kuronoe, just can't resist goading Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru, being Sesshoumaru, feels the need to demonstrate why this is a bad idea.
Log:
Bad enough that the city had reduced Sesshoumaru to the form of a small, mortal dog. Bad enough that a child had tried to capture him and take him home. Bad enough that a puppy had decided he needed his ears licked. Bad enough that he'd been mocked by various residents of the city. Worst of all, however, was the bat youkai's offense. He had dared lay hands on the taiyoukai, knowing precisely what he was doing, trapped him in a human-made canister, and then had the temerity to assume he would escape retribution.
The bat youkai's claim to flight was not one that particularly impressed Sesshoumaru. Wings were not necessary to travel the air, nor were they necessary to reach a creature in flight. It would be a simple matter to bring the bat to ground once Sesshoumaru had caught its scent.
