Summary; the pair wake up to find themselves in Akabane’s bed, hand cuffed together. Ran’s spazing and squirming is just so amusing to Akabane.
Log; Akabane was the type of man to awaken with the rising of the sun. He hated to waste time and he only slept at great lengths when he was hurt or suffering from massive blood loss from his own attacks, so he could give his body time to heal. The man's violet eyes opened, a hand moving up to push the messy black locks off his face, taking a moment to allow his body adjust to reality. It was then when he felt the 108 scalpels all shift inside of his skin that he shifted his head to the side the messy hair moving to frame around his face like a dark halo. Seeing the beautiful schoolgirl in his bed; he couldn't help but grin like a snake about to strike. How had this girl wound up in his bed? He wondered but he truly didn't mind, it was amusing. He surely would have noticed if she had come in herself in the night, he was a deadly light sleeper. This is about the time he noticed the feel of the metal around his other wrist, the almost star shaped scar on that hand was partially hidden by the shadow of the cuff, interesting indeed. For now all he could do was wait for her to wake, so the shirtless man laid on his side dressed only in the black slacks he had slept in. The scars on his chest viable up until where his skin met with the covers that laid over his torso that hide the fact he even had pants on.

Ran moved a little in her sleep. She yawned and stretched, noticing something tugging at her arm as she did. “What?” her eyes fluttered open in response to the tug. She looked over toward where the tugging was from and saw a very handsome man… what!? In bed!? And he had no shirt on! “What the!?” The shock made her back up and falls out of the bed, hitting her head on the floor. “Ouch.” Her arm still attached to the other by the chain.

That grin spread wider across the face of the Jackal as he watched her reactions, this is why he didn't kill her. So damned amusing she was with her reactions, so much like his dear Ginji-kun. The reaction she had of falling off the bed was not at all expected and jerked him forward as well almost popping his arm out of place his caused the calculated killer to twice s he peered over the edge of the bed in under a second the beautiful violet eyes peering down at her with a look of malice "You should take care not to do such rash things Miss Ran." he spoke this would be the first time she saw him in full light was it? He twisted the confined wrist popping a few scalpels out as he pointed them at her "because to injury these hands is to unleash these weapons in a uncontrolled frenzy." he spoke before he was smiling again.

Ran looked very scared “Please don’t hurt me, what do you want me to do?” She was wearing a tank top and flannel pajama pants, and her eyes were wide on the scalpels. “Please don’t.” she inched closer to the bed, making sure to slide a bit out of the path that the scalpels were currently in.

Akabane opened his hand as they vanished "If I was going to hurt you, you would already be sliced to ribbons Miss Ran, I promised you already I wouldn't hurt you unless you wanted it." he spoke in that charmingly creepy tone before he moved some to shift himself so he was not sitting up; but leaning down so that the chain between them did not tug and she wouldn't have to lean up so much. "Now; Lets think logically shall we?" he spook with a creepy smile. He was still shirtless, and now all those scars in view for her.

Ran stood up and sat on the bed with him. "Really, yeah, that would be good." She looked at the handcuffs on their hands and then followed her gaze up his arm and to the scars on his chest. They looked painful. "Um, maybe we should figure out a way that you can get a shirt on?" She looked away from his chest and back to the chains. "This is your room so that means I was somehow put here. This looks like the work of a curse. I would guess that we wont be able to part from each other until midnight." she sighed.

Akabane smiled some more as he tilted his head, he wasn't ashamed of his scars. He had made that painfully obvious to Ginji when he stripped down to his pants to fight. He looked at her "logically I would either have to slice the side completely off one of my shirts, or cut your hand off in order to do so. It is completely up to you." he spoke grinning at her she was far too amusing.

Ran looked up at him with shock. "No! No, no, you can keep your shirt off then. I would like to keep my hand on my wrist." She put her other hand on her the cuffed one. "Um, so Akabane. What do you think we should do? I mean, my room mates will be wondering where I went to at some point." she scratched her nose and tried very hard not to look at his bare chest. He was really well built. She finally was able to look at just his face. "Also we can't just stay here all day."

Akabane pondered this a moment as he slipped off the bed standing as he looked at her "if you would please stand and lets see what I can manage to find. Perhaps I have something we can indeed cut and then pin back?" he spoke trying to be cheerfully smart about this, he didn't have friends so no one would really miss him. This was one of the many joys of being a lone killer. "We can journey to your room and let them know you are alive and well if that is what you wish." the smile spread across his face couldn't look more sinister.

Ran stood as she was asked and walked next to him. "Ok, I have a dress that I can slip on when we get there. It ties at the shoulders." She thought. "I don't really want to walk around in my PJ's." The handcuff was annoying on her wrist. It was a bit tight as she fidgeted with it. Most bracelets where very lose on her tinny wrists. Whoever or whatever put the cuff on her wrist made sure that she could not wiggle her hand out of it. "I am good at sewing. I can help fix anything that you want to cut."

He nodded as he opened the closet. The man really needed a better wardrobe then all black. It did look damn good on him but he didn't experiment. Even if he is an adult he could try a bit harder to fit the trends instead of just looking hot a mysterious. He used the free hand to shift through past what he would normally wear and pulled out a black silk suit shirt that seemed very shiny against the white shirts pulling it off the hanger he held it out to her "if you could please hold it and I will handle the cutting, as it is my forte." he spoke almost pleased. A new cheeky smile was on his face, he wondered if she realized that would mean she has to undress in front of him to change into that dress?

"Ok." she replied simply as she took the shirt and held it out for him. A sudden blush came over her face as she suddenly thought she would have to get undressed in front of him. "I would ask that you would not look at me when I am changing into the dress of cores. I mean, I would hope you wouldn't look if I asked you not to." she was acting a little flustered at the thought.

He snapped one of the scalpels out as she held the shirt up, the glowing knife snapped the stitches up the side nice and clean like that of a true surgeon he used to be back in the day. He didn’t look a day over 20, but he was a man from Babylon city. They don’t age normal; no one has any idea how old this man is, he doesn’t even say. He smiled at her "I will respect your wishes and give you the honor of my word. I will keep my eyes closed while you change." he spoke.

Ran smiled and handed him the shirt. "Ok, now all we need is needle and thread so I can fix it after you put the shirt on." She was glad that he gave her his word. "Thank you Akabane, I really appreciate it." She touched her necklace without thinking. "I wonder if any of my room mates are also affected."

He slipped in on with a little bit of difficulty, after all the buttons had to be undone and then with one arm maneuver it on. Somehow he managed to pull it off though; not a curse or dirty look was thrown, just his ever-pleasant creepy grin. As he turned to her "little help?" he asked in a humored voice unbuttoning was one thing but now that it was on buttoning was a whole other story. "I see you have retrieved your necklace, that is simply wonderful." he spoke, that thing had caused him such a headache "Your very welcome miss Ran, after all, it would be very untactful of me to break a promise." he spoke.

Ran nodded and helped him button his shirt. It brought them a little closer then she would have liked to be. A little blush crossed her cheeks but she tried not to show that it affected her as she finished up buttoning him. "All right, now we need that needle and thread, right?" She backed up from him since she was done buttoning his shirt up.

He nodded some as he thought a moment "do I even have anything like that..." he mused aloud before he looked over towards the bedside table. No that’s more knives.... head shifted towards a box on the dresser as he cocked an eyebrow.... maybe? He though to himself "this~ Way~" he spoke in a sing song tone the shirt not doing much good with the side ripped out at least it would be an easy sew for her if she can keep his arm in the air and still be able to stitch with one hand. As he lead them to the dresser the free hand flipped open the box and pulled out a thing of black thread with a needle in it, hehe thank you Mr. Werewolf for messing him up enough to need to stitch himself. "Here you go!"

Ran took the needle and then looked at him. "Ok, It’s a good thing that I know how to stitch with one hand. Please don't move while I do this." She raised her hand and guessed that he would follow her lead. "Ok, I guess that I will start stitching the closest part to you." She did so. It seemed that she was used to fixing cloths. "A GAL has to make her cloths last as long as she can, so knowing how to sew is important,” she grinned as she carefully fix the shirt up. "Have you been well Akabane?"

"Ahh so I was correct when I assumed you were a ko-gal." he spoke amused, the Japanese man knew what ko-gal's were even if his Japan was not her Japan. Babylon City was at the top of a tower in Shinjuku if that makes any since to you. He kept still for her and allowed her to work "your hands are very steady~" he mused some as he looked down at her with the violet eyes his hair sticking everywhere "You GALS have so many rules~ Do you not~" he asked trying to keep her talking so he wouldn't get bored and try and see if she bleeds Armani.

Ran nodded happily as she finished the stitch off. "Oh yeah, there are tons of rules. The most important to me is to be true to yourself!" she grinned. "At home I was put in a lot of the mags they had. They would just take street pictures of me and would publish articles. They would make all sorts of rules up, like being able to break roof tiles. If you get your rules from those then they probable are not the real thing." she giggled as she tied the knot. "Here, you can cut the thread right? There was a girl that came to Shibuya from some small town once and had all the silly rules they made up written down. She tested me with all of them. I did them, but you cant believe everything you read, right?" she smiled up at him, the shirt looked nice on him. "Being number one GAL can be a pain sometimes, but it is what I enjoyed." Putting her hand down since she was done.

"Wow, quiet the celebrity, Ginji-kun would have been so very jealous." he mused and knew so as well after all Ginji feel in love with any girl but a famous Ko-GAL, he would be head over heels! Akabane snapped the thread quickly before she could ever see the blade reveled and slipped back into his skin. It was just a dash of light for her to see. He nodded while listening "Shibuya? Well at least the names of the cities are the same." he mused some looking at her "Of course not, a lot of things are written to be deceiving, like a Judas amongst holy men." he spoke which sounded so sinister from him before he grinned some more "enjoyed? I am quiet sure you must be #1 here too." he replied.

Ran nodded and fidgeted with the handcuff again. "Yeah, well it's hard to say. I would protect Shibuya from gangs and stuff, but I can't really do that here, not with all the people with strange power. Plus its just strange to call yourself number one GAL when no one here knows what I am talking about." she sighed; giving up on removing the cuff, it was not coming off. "I am going to start training with Walter soon, at lest so I can defend myself better." she smiled at him. "Who is Ginji-kun?"

"I am always willing to teach you, but my methods would result in much blood being lost." he spoke. She saw his scars, this man didn't play for nothing, he played to win and for the fun of the slaughter in hopes of a worthy challenge "and as I said before if anyone threatens you simply tell me and they will be no more~!" happy tone oh the happy in his voice when he speaks of killing someone. "Ginji-kun is one of Shinjuku's finest Recovery Agents, One of the powerful Duo the GetBackers...you remind me a lot of him. Such amusing reactions~"

Ran wasn't really sure how she should react to this man, so she gave him a smile. "Yeah? Thanks Akabane, It's good to know that I can count on you." she was not really in a position to protest that killing was a bad thing. He seemed like he enjoyed the idea and she didn't want to become part of the fun. Because she was thinking about his words and not what she was doing, she forgot that the needle was still in her hand. "Ouch!" Ran cried as it sank into her finger, drawing blood. She quickly drew the needle out, a pool of blood forming at the wound site.

Akabane watched her as she cried out; his free unchained hand reached over taking up the wounded one as he lifted the bloody finger to her lips and kissed the wound. "You should take care, wasting such precious blood could be a terrible thing later on." As he spoke he pulled his lips from the wound and started to hold down with one of his long fingers on the wound. Showing a bit of the fact he used to REALLY be a doctor before he went crazy. "Applying pressure will stop the bleeding and allow for clotting faster." he spoke with an amused grin "such tasty blood you have, too bad I am not one that feeds on it, you would be a lovely meal for any vampire." the smile curled like the chestier cat himself.

Ran looks flustered. She didn't want to be a meal for any vampire. No, being bitten would be very bad. "Yeah, that’s part of the reason I want to learn to fight. I mean, I could kick all the guys butts that tried anything on me in my world, but I am so useless here." she sighed, and then did a classic Ran mood swing. "I can hold it, thank you." She took the finger and put pressure on it like he did. "We should really head to my place. I want to change and tell everyone that I am ok." she had her big smile on again.

Akabane stood again as he looked at her "well if you ever need the help or are in danger simply find a way to let me know an I will help you. Now lets get this over with so I can figure out if I can cut though these binds, Id rather not mess with them until you can tell everyone your okay!" he spoke with that smile as if to tell her 'while you still are okay' he looked over to wear his hat and coat sat "shall we?"

Ran sweat dropped and wondered if she was going to make it through this day alive. "All right, yeah, lets go." she walked with him. "I live in building eight."

He lifted the hat up when they got close to the door placing it on as he draped the jacket over his shoulders carefully with one hand, and lead her though the apartment to the front door, he had decorate nicely for a homicidal man "Well right now we are in building 11, so not truly that far." he spoke as he opened the door for them "after you~" creepy grin in check and now the hat was casting shadows over his pretty face again.

Ran nodded and went out the door. "Yeah, that shouldn't be far at all." she waited for him to close the door. "Your place is really nice Akabane. Did you decorate it yourself?" Ran had no idea how to get out of this building, even though she assumed the exits were at the same place as the ones her building had. She waited for him anyway; well, really she had to with only 3 feet of chain.

He locked the door, slipping the keys back into his jacket pocket as he smiled some at her "why thank you miss Ran, I do try. I cant stand a mess." unless its blood that’s making the mess, that he could stand. He had a very odd temper. He could be smiling, then just give a glare and scare anyone over the oddest stuff, and then be smiling again a second later. He walked now, a hand going to rest in the pocket of his suit pants he had slept in while the other hung at his side. He couldn't do much with it even with three feet of chain. He knew the girl would want to have more slack than he cared about having "Led the way then~" he spoke so amused by this curse.

Ran nodded and led the way. "My room is clean because I don... Oh my gosh!!! Yellow! My poor puppy must be all alone!" her sudden out burst stopped her in her tracks. "I really need to get home fast." she looked serious. "She probably already chewed through something in my room. I just got Yellow, so I haven’t fully trained her, is it ok if I walk really fast?"

Akabane nodded as he followed her quickened step "but of course, I am quiet sure you don't want to clean up any mess she may have left for you." he spoke with that ever amused tone. This girl was truly quiet enjoyable company, so spazing. "Yellow? As in that...dog in the old movie?" he asked with a tilt of his head the unchained hand was out of his pocket now and holding the hat down as they moved quickly though the streets of the messed up city.

Ran laughed. "What kind of dog was in that movie?" She was really concentrated on getting to the apartment though. "She’s a really good puppy, but she is just that, a puppy. Maybe one of my roommates let her puppy out? She hoped. They were at her building now and she rushed them to her apartment door. "Ok" she breathed for a second before rushing into her apartment, scooting past everyone and going right to her room. "Yellow!" the little puppy jumps into her arms. Her room was neat and had a lot of space for storing clothing.
