Log :: Complete
When; Tuesday 8th August.
Rating; PG-13 or something for Violence?
Characters; Roy Mustang
flameroy, Riza Hawkeye
guardianed, Lust
lustydoom and Kimblee
crimsonhanded
Summary; Lust has demanded a fight with Roy for attempting to kill her back home. The Colonel has got his trusty Lieutenant with him, and Lust - who isn't stupid has other ideas.
Log;
With the laptop shut down, his gloves firmly on his hands, and his uniform jacket on he assumed he was ready. Ready for what? Putting that damned Homunculus back her place of course. He'd worn himself out regaining his composure and alchemic ability and it would not be for nothing. He didn't bother leaving a note for Hughes or Cielo. Instead he pushed open the door and made his way to the bottom of the flight of stairs, his steps speedy, yet paced. He knew the Lieutenant wouldn't be long. She knew the importance of this.

Her guns had been painstakingly cleaned, reloaded and holstered as soon as she'd gotten home after that last curse. To be honest, there had been no way of knowing the City would magically transport her from her secure bed while she slept, but she still felt a bit silly having to have borrowed a pistol. So all of hers had been cleaned and clipped to her sides.
Four of them.
Riza made it down the stairs in a minimum of time, and strode across to the front doors of the third building, ready to fall in step as soon as her commanding officer left the doors.

"Lieutenant." He said plainly, knowing from years of practice that she would be right behind him, slightly to his left now, and in exact time with his own strides. He cleared his throat and without looking back, addressed her.
"She'll know you're with me."

Lust would know she was with him, of course she would. "I know." Lust had already figured out she was a loyal officer. Had used that against her the last time they fought. "I'll be fine, Colonel." The assurance left her lips even as she questioned how true they were; Lust had been fairly successful in riling her up before.
But no; she was determined that it would not happen again.

He knew she would be fine, of course he hadn't experienced first hand the events of what had happened to Hawkeye and himself when he fought the Homunculus in her version of Amestris, and that probably allowed him to have more confidence than she.
He rounded a corner and inhaled deeply. The Train Station.

As soon as they rounded the corner, the Lieutenant had her hip's pistol in her hand. A practiced stance, gun pointed straight up, ready to fire- across the Colonel's shoulder if necessary; she'd done it without conscious thought. Lust would be here.

At last. A bloodthirsty grin curled its way into her lips. She was going to enjoy this.

They disappeared behind the building, and he followed silently.
They stopped, Lust smirked, Riza drew her gun—
Kimblee's hands shot out, snatching up the lieutenant's wrist while the other clamped over her mouth. He jerked backward, back around the corner, ducking away from the upcoming battle between Lust and Roy. He pushed Riza towards another entrance to the Underground, keeping an eye on her hands, on the guns in their holsters.

"Lieutenant?" He questioned, with a frown. She had been there, he'd heard her footsteps over his own. Where the hell?
He twisted his head back to Lust, and almost instantly his hand was infront of him, poised.

She had seen Kimblee grab the lieutenant and was confident she wouldn't be interrupted by irritating gunfire. Honestly, as far as she was concerned, if a human was stupid enough to make such bold statements about his confidence against a homunculus, they didn't deserve any cover fire.

The momentum allowed him to reach out his hand and click his thumb and forefinger fiercely, directing a wall of flame in the Homunculus' direction as he moved back enough steps to create a manageable distance between them.
"WHERE IS SHE!?" He questioned with a shout.
no subject
"She's been detained," Lust sneered as she advanced. "But a big, strong man like you doesn't really need her help, right? You're here to put me in my place, after all."
no subject
He had come to put her in her damned place and he would, but it Hawkeye were... detained. How were either of them supposed to offer protection like this?
"Detained by whom?" He asked, frowning at her and poised to strike if either of her hands so much as made any movement whatsoever.

She would stab him again, somewhere else and he would just have to suppress the pain until he got an answer from her. He had to know what he was dealing with before he ran off. He didn't even know where they'd gone.
"Tell me who took her?"
no subject
"Why?" she said as she healed, gradually becoming less gruesome, "So you can run and leave me here? And what do you think you could do against the Crimson Alchemist anyway?"
She struck again, slashing for Mustang's arm. Next would be his eyes.

He barely had time to think before he realised she had struck again, and this time he clicked his fingers and aimed for the lance and Lust's arm, hoping that perhaps it would halt her attack altogether.
He had no comment for the Homunculus, however he did have a plan. Instantly forged in his mind. He moved away from the attack, and clicked with his right hand.
"And where has he taken her?" He asked, hoping she knew the answer to that question, because he was actually more worried about his Lieutenant than himself at the moment.
no subject
"I don't really care," she said a bit nonchalantly, slashing for his throat.

Flamces engulfed the lance that came towards him as he took a jump back, pleased that he had taken the time to assess him phsyical fitness as well as that of his alchemy.
"I see how it is."
no subject
"Do you?" she hissed with a sadistic grin.
no subject
"Yes. I do." He hissed.
His hands lifted to press into each of Lust's shoulders as he forced her back, following the action with swift clicks of his finger and thumb on both hands. He wasn't even sure how many flames he'd released, but the hand attached to his pierced should was beginning to ache incredibly, and dust has risen from the explosions he'd created that caused rubble to shift under Lust's feet.
He was moving back away from her swiftly, clicking his fingers, though with his left hand rather than his right before he turned and fled, back to the place he had been when he's noticed Riza's absense.
He had enough time to break for it, he knew he did, and before he knew it had rounded a corner and was trying to think logically. The train station was near the underground...

This was far from over. They would meet again.
