Log: Ongoing
When; Evening August 22nd
Rating; Prolly R. Violence and what not.
Characters; Ingram
timediver_mk1, Rangiku
10thdiv_haineko, and Albedo
theinfinite_667.
Summary; Ingram has a slight beef with Rangiku forgetting things that she shouldn't have. If she still doesn't remember, a little pain might put a spark in her memory? Of course, that is up to Albedo who is conveniently waiting.
Log;
Ingram slowly strolled through the gardens, counting the seconds passing by as if they meant something to him. While he was counting under his breath, he focused on two things. Who was coming here and who was waiting here. If Albedo could be trusted, he'd be somewhere nearby. Hopefully cloaking his presence. Rangiku, he had hoped would show up. Somewhere along the lines, she had forgot a deal she had made with him. One where she would borrow his powers in a fight against arrancar. But, if he remembered correctly, a few fights passed by and there was no calling on him. He wanted his message to get out and if Rangiku wouldn't do it, he'd do it to her.
He stopped and took a deep breath, trusting that the shinigami knew how to track down someone.

You promised me blood, Ingram...

She followed him for a few steps before a quiet, "what did you want," sounded through the space between them.

"Remember how I discussed that you...disappointed me? It's time that we came to that explanation."
Ingram dropped his hand to his side slowly, not to arouse attention.
"You see, we made a deal. One where if you ever came into battle with certain arrancar, you would borrow my power to win. Frankly, I don't see you holding up on that end of the bargain. This was a deal and basically, you failed me. There are consequences for that."
Ingram took a few steps back and bowed, his eyes flashing yellow once before returning to normal.

He gathered a faint glow in one hand, concealing it in his fist, letting the energy worm between his fingers and run through him arm in a hot rush. Adrenaline flooded his mind; his legs tensed, ready to spring. Were he an animal, he would be drooling over his prey...his eyes tracked her, imagining red scars across that little neck, streams of blood across the face...so weirdly beautiful, and they taste like hot iron...

"I do believe our 'business' is done. Now if you'll excuse me."
With the innate grace most shinigami have, she turned and started to walk away.

"You can't just leave Rangiku and consider it over. The second you met me, your fate was decided. You would be bound to me for your entire stay in this city. If you can't remember it, then I guess you'll need a little incentive.

He uncoiled -- all energy unleashed itself. In a screaming blur, he leaped high from the branch, white wings swinging wide, hands glowing eerie bluish-white. One fist lurched out, cracking the air, heading straight for the shinigami's ribs, leaving a searing trail in the air. Wings pouring the rippling light, he dropped like a bullet, all force behind one hand, the other following swiftly for a dual strike.

"Is this your idea of incentive? I'm not really impressed with someone that'll attack from hiding at no provocation."

Ingram closed his eyes and focused. Even for a genetically enhanced body, this fight might go to fast. He was going to have to rely on his mind.
In his mind's eye, lines paved themselves across the garden, randomly changing depending on the mood. Even the immediate future was impossible to see. Hopefully it was enough to at least protect himself.
"Don't let your guard down. She is tougher than she looks."
Ingram deliberately left out his name, to keep Albedo's identity secret.

He rushed her with the energy flying, a shockwave that started to his sides and rushed toward a concentrated blast in the center. If he could just get close to her, she would be down and out. For now, he would fight with his telekinesis. The trains broke loose and converged, blowing down two little trees nearby, blasting several bushes down to nubs.

A rough laugh trailed from his lips as he watched her stare him down. "Regeneration is such a bother, isn't it?" His violet eyes glittered in the dim evening light.

"I'm not afraid of your little knife..." His voice dripped out like poison, barely draining off his tongue, his predator's fury seeping out with it and curling in her ear.
His harsh hands locked around her wielding arm as he twisted his body around, hauling her toward him, one set of claws unclamping to reach for her shoulder. He had torn the arms off the little Kirschwassers before, but how much more would she scream than the Realians? Bone splintering, real bone, and flesh tearing like so much meat soaked with blood...

There was a sharp flash of pain from where his hands were locked around her arm, and a matching one flaring along her shoulder, but she shoved her own hand in his face and with another short incantation, called brilliant lightning, the crackling light point blank at his eyes.
A leg jerked up, trying to wedge itself between them to keep him from dragging her even closer.
"I've had... enough!"
no subject
He had to release her shoulder, and her leg kicked them apart so that they were joined only by one of his hands; his eyes were gone entirely, cauterized shut in red, melted sheets from the lightning that had shot directly into them. The bleeding wound across his chest had already sealed up in a glow of pale violet light; now, his eyes began to shimmer. He tried to keep his remaining hand as tight as possible, but it was looser than before as his mind tried to process both the agonizing pain and the need to hold on. His nails began to work their ragged tips through the fabric and pinch her skin. As his rigid muscles uncoiled, he managed to lean forward and hiss into her ear.
"But I haven't..."

Haineko sliced down at the arm still attached to hers while she started to call another kidou spell, intending to what else of his she could fry.

He took a step back then, hunched over and tired, but his eyes still blazed, and he brought his hands together in a flaring white glow.

The spell sizzled against his power, but did little more than stall it for an instant. The moment it failed, the power rushed over her, throwing her back and down, leaving her bleeding on the ground, vision hazy.

He shambled toward her, chest heaving, and dropped to his knees across her. Legs on either side of her ribs, he wrapped one hand in her hair and pulled her head up. The second hand rested against her neck, eerily gentle. Ragged nails traced along her skin; his head was so close to hers that she could hear his harsh breaths in her ear.
"Give up, mouse?" He twirled a lock of her hair around and around his little finger; his lips twisted up into a cruel smile. "You're almost pretty when you fight me, but all are more beautiful in death..." His tongue flicked out, like a snake's, to swipe along her earlobe's inner ridge.
Then the violet eyes jerked up, glaring out from beneath white bangs. "I don't like clean kills, Ingram." His voice clawing through the air, he scoured the battlefield through a burning gaze, searching for the Time Diver. "But if you want, I'll do it the quick way." Fingers tightened one by one against her throat.

"I can't have you killing her today. While the city is a little different, the concept still applies. 'Dead men tell no tales.'"
Ingram stalked over and looked Rangiku in the eyes, waiting for a response.

A cold glare met his gaze as she pointedly ignored the man atop her.
no subject
"You want me to let her go." Not a question, but an irate statement. "Why?"
no subject
"We have a mission, correct? Killing her would hinder us more than help us. We'll lose an effective future bargaining chip. Her life."
Ingram reached down and pulled his pistol out of it's holster. He pointed it at where her knee should be under her shinigami outfit.
"As for you, I hope the message is clear. You'll need me and when you do, you will ask for help. Also, keep quiet about my involvement with Albedo here. If I hear you've even uttered a word, I'll make sure to take you hostage. When one of your friends comes to rescue you, they'll just meet an untimely death and it will be all your fault. Keep that in mind."

"Do what you want but keep her alive. It's probably better if she has to cry for help."
