Log;

It was surprising really - well many things were. The fact that even though she'd been here for as long as she had done - that she hadn't yet been to the beach, the fact that she'd holed herself up for the entire duration of Daisuke's absence, and the fact that she was going to wear a swimsuit... whilst Daisuke was there. If Risa had been around, they might have spent a long time deliberating what costume she'd wear - but as it stood, she only owned one. She'd even gone to the trouble of putting it on before Daisuke came to collect her from her room.

She'd been informed that the beach wasn't actually that far away from the building she'd stayed in, which was good really, because for some reason she felt very quiet this afternoon.

It was a quick trip; the teleporter made quick work of their journey, but never soiled the first impression the beach made on people. The vastness of the sea combined with the salty breeze shrouded a calming effect on anyone within its range. Daisuke took that first step, but somehow the whole thing didn't work for him.

His face was beat red and he was shaking, nervous. While Riku probably had trouble picking out her costume, Daisuke was the one that had trouble making sure he didn't come in at the wrong time, that he didn't say the wrong things, that he didn't seem flustered -- in most cases he was.

Sliding his gaze towards his girlfriend -- it'd be rude if he kept to himself -- Daisuke fashioned a quiant half-smile and tried to squeak out as cool as possible.

"So, uh- This is the beach."

Man, he sounded so uncool.

The warmth of her had was more than enough to catch him off guard as he was literally dragged towards the water's edge. Following first on one foot, Daisuke let out a small scream but finding his footing again.

"Ah- Shouldn't we find a spot first before we head in?"

With no thought of letting her hand go, Daisuke merely lifted his other hand and offered to take her bags off of her. He'd chuckled right after her, realizing they were both just as nervous.

"Here. As long as the tide doesn't come in, it should be okay."

"We can put that down too."

He took a second to judge the distance between the shoreline and where they were. It should be a while, he decided, before the tide would catch up to their things. He placed her bag down, then glanced towards her; he was controlling himself rather well, for once.

"Uh- Do you, I mean. Are you going to wear your shirt while your swimming?" Scratch that. This wouldn't go well. He could already feel his face swelling with heat.

"I-I mean. I can do that too. I mean, I can wait for you...Here."

As the shirt was lifted over her head, Daisuke had already turned around for her modesty. His movements were stiff and his face bright red as he, too, began to pull his own shirt off revealing a rather lanky figure which he didn't like showing off. After constant training sessions with his mother, his body wasn't chiseled as an olympic althete, but it was obvious he kept in shape.

He stared at his trunks for a second, trying to gather his composure by taking quick deep breaths. This was going to be harder than he thought.

"..." Talk. Look around. Do something. He did none of the above, but only held a hand back for her to hold onto. "L-Let's go?"
