Log;

His arm no longer in a sling but still wrapped up in bandages from a previous encounter with an unfriendly wolf, Roger Davies stood behind the bar at the Raven, examining the rows of suspiciously bottled liquor. He'd no previous experience at any job or even social drinking, being on most days the tender age of fourteen. Curse days were normally anything but fun, but Roger could get used to being this way. Grown-ups had all the fun.

He was listening to Lucien, listening very intently. He was here for a reason, after all. He had no idea what he was listening for, but was determined that a reason for all this spying and eavesdropping would spring up. Desperate to keep the other man talking, he pointed to a group of bottles, his head tilted curiously.

"And what of those?"

Lacroix was not unaware of the fact that Jolly was cursed or that he was acting as a spy. Truly Nicholas Brocklehurst was becoming quite entertaining. In fact he was the kind of person that Lacroix enjoyed corrupting. If they had been from the same world Lacroix would have preyed on him and would have likely turned him.

He only smiled when Jolly pointed a group of more human drinks. "Those are specialty liquors used to make the fancier mixed drinks," Lacroix said simply before opening one of the mini-fridges below the bar to reveal a group of bottles that were reserved for his vampire clientele. "This is where we keep the drinks for our non-human clientele. One of the other bartenders can handle those orders if you feel uncomfortable."

"I was bored. I decided to indulge myself by opening a business. Even before money became useful here, there was still a market fora particular clientele," Lacroix said with a shrug.

He was aware of being sized up. He was a aware of a lot of things.

Lacroix withheld his urge to snicker at the display and continued to play along. "We get many types in here but this club is designed for a particular group in mind. I do my best to cater to all though."

He was attempting to cast a wider net now that money was readily sought after and spent. He was a business man after all. But all of this was common knowledge to those who asked around.

"I live upstairs as does a few members of my staff," Lacroix answered simply. Anyone who read his journal would know this to be a fact. He was not one to hide even if he was being sought after. Hiding was for the weak.
