Today was becoming more and more interesting. Not to mention informational. His earlier question about the Methuselah had been mostly answered, and by an unexpected source, nonetheless. Then again, it seemed that most of those involved with the Methuselah wanted to keep it to themselves. For what reason, he wasn't entirely sure of. After all, Vampires in the City were something he counted as dangerous.

Whatever the case was, he'd have to figure that out later.

Right now, he was turning his attention to this Homunculi subject. Greed had said it was easier to explain in person, and so here he was, at the appropriate meeting place. Hopefully this went well.

"Oi," Greed said, standing in the doorway to the Temple,"Come on in."

He opened the over-sized frontway and held it for his guest.


"Please mind the floors and take off your shoes. I have to keep this place clean for my date tonight."

Mello stepped in, nodding and taking in his surroundings. Looked like a normal temple, overall. Nothing outlandish, at least not that he could see. Following Greed's request, he took off his boots, leaving them right by the doorway.

"Ah, a date? I hope that goes well for you."

He walked to the nearby couch and plopped down, kicking his legs onto an end table. He slid a small try of snacks toward Mello and gestured for him to relax.

"So, whaddaya' want to know?"

The blonde followed, also relaxing as he sat down in the nearby chair. He purposefully slouched, though he would be able to jump up at any time. Greed thus far had been a pretty okay guy, but that didn't mean he trusted him. There were only two people who had his trust-- L and Matt. That was where the list ended.

"I would say everything, but stories will always have their secrets."

"Not really," he shrugged, "I never get tired of talkin' about ME."

He sighed and stretched out, plucking a few pretzels and putting them in his mouth.

"Well, homunculi are artificial humans made with alchemy. We have superior physical skills, heightened senses, high resistance to pain, don't need air, food, or sleep, like to get into a ruckus. That's not even mentionin' our regenerations abilities."
