Legato looked about the Square, noticing how everything seemed normal, but there was an underlying tension; likely due to the surge of energy from the beach the night before. Pride still coursed through him, remembering how much grief he had caused Vash and his 'mother,' and how it had pleased Knives-sama.
He placed his glass back on the table in front of him, payed the bill and stood to walk away. While walking, he stopped-- there was a familiarly hateful presence close to him: Chapel.
Legato chuckled, knowing that he wasn't here by coincidence. "You're here for revenge?" he asked, without looking in Wolfwood's direction. "Over something I didn't even do to you personally?"
