Log;

This was the strangest day in Jyuushirou's life. He remembered going to bed last light, very nervous about the kidou exam the next day. Now he had woken up in some strange place, with an unknown man next to him, who claimed to be Shunsui. An old Shunsui.

Who had a really odd irori to cook food on.

The white-haired boy had been smiling and nodding and following along with everything that the other said, but truth to be told, he was scared out of his mind. Was he kidnapped? How could someone kidnap him from the Academy?

How did this man know him and Shunsui? He kind of resemble Shunsui a little, especially the eyes, but it was just impossible. It couldn't be.
Why would Shunsui be in his bed, in the first place? It all just screamed wrong to Jyuushirou.

If he was kidnapped... who would the kidnapper talk to?
Even if Jyuushirou was a noble, he didn't have much money. All of it was spent to care for his five brothers and two sisters.
They couldn't pay a ransom...

What was he going to do? He had to get out of here before this crazy person killed him, or worse...

---

Yesterday had been a bad day. After revealing his and Juushirou's sexual activity to the entire shinigami gathering, Shunsui had been yelled at thoroughly. Today wasn't looking much better - the only upside being that Juushirou did not seem to remember what happened the day before.

However, there was still one slight problem. The man -- no, the boy who stood before him was not the Juushirou from yesterday. Or even last week.

Yare, yare...said he's from our first year, huh? That's...such a long time ago...

It was obvious the boy was lost and confused, but Shunsui did his best to try to explain things. Young Juushirou seemed interested in the appliances in the kitchenette, and Shunsui took the opportunity to prepare some food. After all, the way to Juushirou's heart always seemed to be his stomach.

"This is probably a silly question, but are eggs all right for breakfast?" He asked, getting out the pan and other supplies necessary. "We don't have a lot around just now..."

---

"Ah... yes. I like eggs."

Jyuushirou said, trying not to sound too nervous as he spoke. Was the man cooking now? On that strange thing?
Where was the fire? Maybe he could off to get wood for cooking and escape that way...

If the person tried to feed him, maybe there was sleeping powder or something in it. He'd end up being drugged and dragged away to work at some... bad place in Rukongai! He'd never be a shinigami then! He'd never be able to fulfill his dream of protecting people!

...but he was hungry too. What a dilemma.
But being hungry sounded better then the alternative.

"Uh... Shunsui? I need to... you know."

The young man said, almost stuttering as he called the other 'Shunsui'. It just felt so wrong.
But if he said that he needed to use the bathroom, then maybe he could run away when the other wasn't looking.
Just dashing out the door seemed impossible - whoever the other person was, the amount reiatsu he had made it hard to breathe.
A rogue shinigami? He'd catch him in an instant. No, he had to sneak away.

Looking around the room again, his brown gaze stopped at a white haori on the couch.
His face lost all the little color it had and he had to bite his lip to not panic more.

That was a captain's haori!

...what was going ON here?!

---

"Hmm?" Shunsui turned around when Juushirou spoke.

Oh, he needs to go to the...right.

The bearded man turned down the heat on the electric stove so the eggs wouldn't burn, then turned around and gave what he thought was a reassuring smile. The boy's face looked a little pale though, even for him. Shunsui hoped he wasn't getting sick.

"Okay," he said, walking to the door and opening it. He gestured to a door down at the end of the hall. "There's a bathroom over that way. It's not too far, but don't wander... you can get lost in this place, seriously... and... come right back. The eggs will be done soon, and you can have something to eat, hmm?"

---

He was frozen in place for a moment, shock and the other's reiatsu pinning him down.
Jyuushirou took a deep breath, giving the whatever the hell he was a shaky smile before he forced his legs to actually work for him.
Since he had woken up fully dressed - thank god for that - he could just follow the really-scary-false-Shunsui's directions without having to throw on clothes as well.

"Ah... okay. Thanks... and I will."

Jyuushirou said quickly, stepping over to the door and sticking out his head, looking around.
A temple? It was so... expensive-looking. With tiled floors and everything. Like a palace.
Sliding the door shut after him, he waited a few seconds to regain his composure, trying to breathe normally and calm his wildly beating heart.

Then he ran. And not towards the bathroom.

---

For the moment, Shunsui was focused on not burning the eggs. He wasn't much of a cook, but he thought he could manage something simple like this.

Well, I guess I'm making up for yesterday now
He thought, getting out two plates to put the food on.
He'll be back to normal tomorrow...I think.

Still, it was kind of fun. It had been a long time since he'd seen Juushirou looking so young. There were no photographs to speak of from those ancient days, and Shunsui relied mostly on his memory whenever he had the desire to picture his lover from that long ago.

Breakfast now ready, Shunsui turned his attention to the futon, folding it up and placing it in a corner.
Must have been a shock, waking up like that... especially since I don't think we even started to realize what we thought of each other until third year.

He pulled out the table from under the shelving, and plopped down two zabuton cushions next to it. They didn't always set everything up immediately in the morning, but Shunsui thought perhaps it was better to do things more formally. It almost felt like Juushirou was his guest today, instead of his roommate and lover.

Everything was set now. The food was out, the futon put away. Shunsui would wait for the boy to return before starting breakfast...however...it seemed to be taking a long time.

He didn't look right, actually... I wonder if he's okay...

A few more minutes passed before Shunsui began to really become worried. Deciding that formality could be discarded for the moment, he stood and made his way towards the hallway.

Maybe he wasn't feeling well...what if he collapsed?

He knocked on the bathroom door. "Juushirou? Are you okay in there?"
There was no answer. Shunsui really began to panic now.

"I'm coming in, okay?"

He opened the door hesitantly, not wanted to startle the younger version of his lover.
Half expecting to see the boy on the floor, Shunsui was momentarily startled when he saw no one there. Then, he realized...

Oh, shit...
