LOG; COMPLETE
When; Today
Rating; PG? Maybe PG-13 for swearing?
Characters; Flonne
nin_nin_nin and Greed
so_very_greedy
Summary; Flonne wants to improve her fighting skills and figures the best way to go about it is to challenge everyone with promise of a prize!
Log;
It took Flonne a while to get the right directions, after all, she hadn't been in the city very long. She hoped she could memorize all the locations soon enough, and as she flew through the air, she certainly hoped she had gone the right way. Her red eyes scanned the area, holding tight to the bow and arrows in one hand and a bag that contained the treasure she promised in the other.
"Ah~! There it is!" She said, spying it and making her descent, her red wings flapping slower. Her feet made contact with the roof and she shielded her eyes from the sun. "Hellooo?" She shouted out cheerfully. "Are you there Mist--Oh, I mean Greed?" She looked around her surroundings, frowning only a little bit. He said that she could use any method she wanted, so she hoped her magic wouldn't do too much damage.

"Don't look like much of a fighter," he said, cracking his neck, "But I also don't hit girls, so it might help you out."
He sat down and crossed his arms, waiting.
"So, how do we do this?"
no subject
Flonne paused, and thought for a moment. She assumed it would be standard training, but it became apparent that her idea of training was radically different from others and would some set rules.
"Um...how about..." She examined the edges of the roof. "If you get knocked off the roof, you automatically lose!" She blinked. "Unless that'd be too much..." She realized something rather obvious. "Oh! And obviously, if I use my wings I get disqualified. That way, it'll be fair!" She exclaimed with a ditzy smile. "Sound good?"

He jumped in place and did a few warm-ups before taking his stance. Who did this girl think she was? He really hated to fight with cute young girls, but some people just had to fight.

"Ready when you are~" She called out cheerfully. She flicked a tendril of blonde hair behind her ear, ready and determined, even if it looked like she was slightly outmatched this time.

He lowered his arms and raised his shield, the flesh on his body quickly changing.
"Gimme' what you've got."
no subject
"What I've got...?" She nodded, determined to do her best. She went through her spells mentally, before charging forward, swelling fire appearing in both hands and casting a fire spell directly at him, with all the force she could muster.
no subject
"Sorry, sweets, that kinda' thing won't work. This skin is too hard for it."
He casually walked forward, approaching her location.
"I think you'd better think of somethin' else."
no subject
--! Of course! She smiled now. The objective wasn't to necessarily cause pain or break the shield...it was just to knock him off the roof! She giggled and clapped her hands. "Alright~ Prepare yourself."
And Flonne bolted forward, and past him this time, all the while, firing forceful blasts of fire at him in a barrage. She snatched up her arrows in a quick move and fired one, charging it with magic power.
no subject
"What the...?" he said, jumping back to gain some distance, "What might this be, hm?"
no subject
In a show of bright white light, she released the arrow straight towards him, pleased at the power she had put into it, and standing idle for a few seconds to see the effect.
((Sadly, there aren't too many references online, but if you want to know what the attack looks like/power behind it, this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=p3om6hMrYac) shows it at about 3:32 in. Totally up to you if he dodges. \o/))

"Wha-wait! Wait!" he yelled as the arrow struck, an explosion of light energy hurled him backwards toward the edge of the roof. As he rolled off, he dugs his claws into edge and used his arms to swing himself back around.
"I don't think so!" he yelled, landing several feet from her, "I'm NOT goin' out like that!"
no subject
Now it was getting really fun--and she just couldn't resist a giggle as she sent a few more arrows flying, dodging him as best as she could.
no subject
"Ya' can't fun forever!" he yelled, leaping high in the air and coming down on the ground in front of her.
"Boo!"
no subject
But there he was, right in front of her before she even got the chance to take one more shot. She leaped back in surprise, and mistakenly landing on the very tip of the railing.
"A-A-Ahhh!" She flailed her arms, trying to keep her balance, sadly having to resist the urge to use her wings to propel herself to proper balance.
no subject
"Heh heh, almost lost ya' there. I'd hate to see a pretty girl have somethin' happen to her."
no subject
"Thank you so much!" She looked up at him with a big smile before standing up and dusting off her little white jacket. "I guess this means you win! I would have fallen off had you not caught me." She stole another glance over her shoulder. "And that wouldn't have been very fun!" She bowed her head and skittered over to the little bag she had set aside, picking up broken arrows along the way.
no subject
"So, Miss Flonne, was it fun enough?"
no subject
"As for the treasure I promised you..." She finally pulled out a little velvet bag, closed tight by a drawstring. "I know guys don't like jewelery, and it's kind of small, but there's a lot of power in this little ring. It's helped me plenty of times!" She pulled out a metal ring, set with a dark purple stone and ornately carved.
"And I hope it can help you too!♥" She said, setting the ring in his hand.
no subject
He shook the object in his hands a few times, as if it would react.
"Does it do tricks?"
no subject
She giggled. "And increase defense, but by the looks of it, you don't need that. If you're ever in a tight situation, try it on!"
no subject
He knelt before her and grasped her hand in his, laying a kiss on top of it.
"It has been my most esteemed pleasure, Miss Flonne."
no subject
She blinked a bit before suddenly realizing. "Oh, I have a few more people to train with today, so I'm afraid I must be going for now!"
no subject
And with that, he jumped from the roof and was gone.
no subject
She then put the bag of arrows over her shoulder, ran across the roof and lept, this time the wind catching her wings, and flew off towards her next opponent.
